Taking Charge

Rate this book
The Roaring Skulls. It was the name of my dad's bar as well as the motorcycle club he belonged to. He loved them both, perhaps as much as he loved me. I grew up around them - the bar and the bikers - so when dad passed away and left me the bar, I knew I had to take it.

But as it turns out, others had plans for the land the bar sits on. But I'm not one to give up on what I want. I'll fight and f- well you know- to keep what's mine. And along the way, I may find a man - or four - to call my own.

Hi! I'm a suburban mom of three with a loving husband... and a bit of a wild imagination. I have addictions to wine, coffee and writing, writing, writing. I let all of my dirty thoughts flow out through my keyboard into the pages of my wide range of short stories. I'm never one to shy away from something new!

This was a really entertaining read. The main female character, Olivia, is a fiesty woman who isn't afraid to put D-Heads in their place or fight anyone who needs an attitude adjustment. I love that she is a woman who knows what she wants and goes after. She lives her life by her rules and tells societal norms to shove it. At first, I knew who two of her guys would be. The second two reveal themselves throughout the story. E, A and even J were not surprising. S was a major surprise. I was not expecting that before their first meeting. It is an interesting dynamic that she has with her guys and it was so fun to read. I hope the author plans to continue the series.

Olivia left home 2 years ago when she had feelings for more than one guy. She is back now for her dads burial. Her brother Eric is now a police officer. He didn’t like that his dad ran a bar for the Roaring Skulls bikers. She decides to stay and run the bar. Her brother wants her to sell it now her feelings are surfacing again for the guys. She has to come to terms for her feelings plus fighting to keep the bar when she finds her dad had taken out loans on it. It’s very good read. I had a arc copy and this is a honest review

This is a second chance, RH, MC rivalry story that is so full of sexiness that it almost set my Kindle on fire. The story itself is written well, the unexpected plot twists came out of nowhere and really added to the story. I loved reading about Olivia, Ayden, Ezio, Jackson, and Slade.

Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
