Fallen Angel charts the exploration of an unseen world by Nicole Cannock, an average working mum, who has discovered that her liking for more “alternative” sexual practices leaves her feeling unfulfilled. Having dabbled for a brief period in the past, she decides one quiet evening to see if there was something more… and that brings her to Der Unterworld, a chat-site that caters for the BDSM and alternative lifestyles.
After establishing herself as an obedient “submissive”, she draws the attention of DL, an enigmatic character that inspires fear within those chat rooms, yet that element of danger is irresistible for her. Despite warnings from the other women she allows herself to be pulled into his world, a world of dark desires, until the time comes where she has to meet him in person.
That first meeting opens something deep inside her…a longing and release of primal urges, and so begins a journey into a twilight world of sexual submission and control. He claims her for his own, a gesture that is stronger than marriage in that world, and he slowly begins to test her to the very limits of her imagination.
It was the last place she expected to find love; however the complex feelings that intense eroticism creates within both of them leads them down a path that cannot be denied. Nicole’s increasing frustration at the way DL keeps her at arm’s length, and his inability to express his feelings causes a rift that nearly becomes final; however, his growing realisation at how important she was to him makes him orchestrate a way for them to be together. Using his immense power and influence in the shadowy world he has created, he brings her back to his side in the amazing setting of a Grand Ball.

OMG, what did I just read??? The worst book in history! Seriously! Even 50 Shades of Grey is better than this! I should slap myself!

DO NOT READ this book! It's crap! And I'll tell you why!

The Prologue seemed sensible enough, written quite well. Here's a quote I liked:
"Whilst the common misconception of what is referred to as BDSM (Bondage, Domination, Sado-Masochism) is that it is all about whips and chains, in reality it goes much deeper than that."

I thought this was a sign of good things to come...

I won't beat around the bush. The story goes like this (spoilers ahead!):

1%-17% - Nicole, a single mother who fancies herself a sub, "meets" a Dom on the internet, they start chatting and suddenly He wants to feel her skin (and a lot more), so he proposes they meet; she says yes; He sends her instructions on how to dress and behave, she follows them to the letter, but ends up being abused by Him AND a woman! Also, this is the first time he slaps her on the face. Does Nicole press charges? Don't be silly, of course not! She likes it and continues this fucked-up relationship.
Hosted by imgur.com

18% - On their second date, He abuses her in the toilet of a restaurant, after which He arranges for the waitress there to join their little fuck session because Nicole wasn't good enough for Him.
Hosted by imgur.com

20% - Second slap on the face for Nicole (I kept count) and beating against a tree because she proved too selfish and had an orgasm before he did. At this point, I'm thinking "Is the author who wrote the prologue the same as the one who wrote this shitty book???"
Hosted by imgur.com

22% - (Other) signs of stalking: He calls her from a withheld number while she's at a supermarket and orders her to "park in the furthest left of the car park and wait for me." Does she find this a little creepy? Nope, she goes ahead and obliges him, only to be rewarded with a third slap, tied up, blindfolded and left there alone.
Hosted by imgur.com

24% - He sends 2 women to abuse her there..At this point I'm thinking I must be dreaming...fuck it, SHE must be dreaming...
Hosted by imgur.com

No such luck, this shit's real! Those 2 monsters do what they do to her and miracle of disgusting miracles: she likes it, AGAIN!!
Hosted by imgur.com

27% - Fourth slap for Nicole, knocking her sideways and onto the floor
Hosted by imgur.com

Why?
The bastard tries to rape one of Nicole's stupid friends (Michelle) just because Nicole showed her some of the sick kinky stuff He gave her (handcuffs, the works).

"Your young friend over there will bear some of the consequences of your actions."

Hosted by imgur.com

It's not like Michelle's crying isn't terrifying enough, but He pulls out a freaking blade!!!!! And draws a little blood from Nicole's boob!
Hosted by imgur.com
Really people!! How fucked-up is that??

29% - You won't believe what happens next! Nicole starts feeling jealous of her stupid friend: "she hated this, the thought He would take the girl had put a lump in her chest."
Hosted by imgur.com

30% - Fifth slap for Nicole; Nicole is forced to give oral to her stupid friend, a scene which reminds me of American Psycho
Hosted by imgur.com
You all remember that scene, right?

32% - Even DL (this is the bastard's pseudonym) is surprised at how dumb Nicole is: "My God, he thought to himself, she actually has feelings for me."
Hosted by imgur.com

33%-43% - DL introduces her to a sick secret BDSM club (which he owns) and takes her to a ball

44% - He abuses one of the female guests at the ball because she joined Him in giving Nicole a little hand under the table, if you get my meaning.. :)). How does he abuse her, you ask? He chokes her with his dick until she vomits and guess what, Nicole is jealous AGAIN!!!!
Hosted by imgur.com

After the first half of the book, I just ended up skimming through it, because let's face it, there weren't any crucial things happening. I mean, we are introduced to Rachel and Christopher (DL's two slaves), we're told how they ended up in His house, Nicole and DL fight, they separate for a while, but of course Nicole's ignorance makes her take him back.
THE END
Hosted by imgur.com

My advice to everyone: DO NOT pick up this book, DO NOT pay for it, DO NOT buy it, DO NOT borrow it or even look at it!! You will lose the will to live!!!

I refuse to believe that this story is based on real events. I mean, no one can be that wacko, right?

Let us start with our heroine, aka Lady Angel (what a stupid nickname).
There is absolutely nothing likable about her character what so ever!
You know, when we women, sometimes say that some men think with their dicks? Well, this Baby Angel thinks with her vagagay :-). Before you go howling wolf on me let me tell you that I'm all for equality and women's right to think with those parts, too :-D. My problem with this specific "lady" is that she has completely lost her freaking mind, and her itchy hoo-haa is the only thing that matters.

She finds some kinky dude online and invites him to her home (not judging). She never met him before, but he was bossing her around way before he knocked on her door. If it was a fictional story I could have overlooked the fact, but what pissed me off was the fact that she had a child and she invited a complete stranger to her home, where she lived with her kid. It doesn't matter that he wasn't there when internet creep came. She knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about him, aside from the fact that he promised her to scratch her itchy parts. And, she had to cuff and blindfold herself, and be naked before he opened the door. That was an order from him. Are you f@cking kidding me?!?! And I suppose to find that erotic? NO! I don't think this Baby Angel will be getting an award for Mommy of The Year any time soon. The fact that this book is based on true events is f@cking scary. That poor boy needs to be taken away from her imidiatly.

As for the creep. The dude is completely out of his freaking mind. She thinks he is the one, but later finds out that there are two slaves living in his house. She gets pissy, jealous, angry and a lot of other things.
He calls himself The Dark One. Everyone else calls him My Lord to his face and The Dark One when he is not present. He is approaching his 50's. Is there a bucket nearby? I think I'm about to puke.
description

And it gets "better". He goes around raping her friends in front of her and she is jealous that it isn't her. When I say rape I don't mean a role play or games when woman say no, but means yes.
And forget about the fact that those women will be traumatized for life, and one of them is her friend. Don't you wish you could have a friend like her? Who will just stand there, look at you being raped, and instead of helping you, get prissy jealous, because you're lucky.

Just because he keeps coming back to her, she thinks that he is the sh!t. Have you that little self worth, are so insecure and have zero standards???
description

So here is my impression of him. Not a bad boy (too old for that), not an alpha male (not possessive or territorial). Simply a man that is out of his f@cking mind. He treats, not only her, but all women he meets, like creatures who is at the bottom of the food chain.
Let me paint you a picture:
- The top layer is us, you, me and others, normal kinksters. The definition is pretty broad :-).
- Next, there is whores, sluts and skanks.
- Then, there is Madagascar hissing cockroaches (just to make it more dramatic :)).
- The forth layer is a pile of brown stinking crap, with flies buzzing around.
- And then, there is his Lady Angel.

Isn't he someone to swoon and drool over, ladies? He can rape a woman like nobody's business.
What a wonderful role model for Baby Angel's son.

I won't be reading the next in the series (my God, there will be more), or anything else from this author for that matter.
What a horrible, horrible book.

I liked this book a lot! The naughty parts were as i like them: naughty ^^ and a bit edgy. I see that a lot of people have rated it 1 star just because the naughtiness includes "rapey" bits. And a few of the scenes also left me thinking "What? No...that can't be real as advertised!" I think we can all agree: as sexual fantasy it's nice now and then, but real rape...no thank you! A few days ago i stumbled across a youtube video "DarkScribe Books 1:Fallen Angel" or something like that. The author talks about the book and explains what he meant by saying it's "real" and gladly the rape-parts aren't. So no need to worry :-)
I could explain more but honestly: I'm too lazy.
What i'm trying to say is: it's a good read and after listening to the youtube video the first meating of DL and angel is so much more fascinating.

Angel is a single Mum who has been exploring the Lifestyle online in a chatroom. Having a bad experience the one time she met someone from the chat, she wondered if she wanted to go through that again. When one night a well known but mysterious Dom, the Dark One, contacts her and she finds herself caught on the ride of her life.

After my own exporation into the Lifestyle for the past few years, I found this to be an interesting premise to read. I find the idea of sexual exploration without judgement to be a pivotal draw for myself.

I would not recommend this read for those that are uncomfortable with the intense and sometimes non censual aspects of this book. But for those that want to step into the shoes of one that is pushed beyond her boundaries, I urge you to have a read. I did enjoy the online chat parts of the book as they showed a very realistic world that many experience nowadays. It is a well written story with developed characters. And even though there were scenes that I found difficult to relate to, I felt it was well worth the journey.

Good grief! based on a true story..
A single mum surfs the web as an 'online submissive' and has the fortune (or misfortune) to catch DL's attention, what follows is a series of scenes to control, punish and reward Nicole to submit in every way, even it means using (and abusing) the people around Nicole to make a point. Nicole's submissiveness thrives under his harsh administrations and although she is made completely vulnerable Nicole is not without her own power. D.L's methods are extreme and cringe-worthy, pushing boundaries that are unpalatable probably to the most broad minded of people. It's well written and flows well, and I was hooked to the end, I found it difficult to find the romance in it and think that Nicole is way to good for DL, I found him perverse in the extreme and the most distubing character I have read all year, which is probably a compliment but not meant to be. Four stars because it pulled out so many reactions and it was a fascinating look into an extreme D/s dynamic.

This book seemed to be suffer from an identity crisis. Just whose story was this anyway?

I did not like the main character from the start and he didn't endear himself to me as the story went on. I put this book down and picked it up again eventually forcing myself to complete it.

And the ending.... seriously? arrgggh.

Based on a true story? Interesting.

I am not a fan of the last section with Douglas and the chair. Was the purpose to show what their lives had become? It was confusing and not in a good way.

I would like to give this book 3.75 stars. I was having a hard time rating this book. Normally, I don’t have to think so much on it.

First, if you like dark erotica, sadism and D/s relationships you most likely will enjoy this book. There were elements that are NMKOK like knife play and such, but I know first hand warnings and books seem to get you reprimanded and put in a dusty corner in the Amazon (Adult ban censor world).

Overall, I liked most of the darker aspects of it and enjoy reading many different types of erotica. You are sort of kept on your toes about Him through the book, as Angel is as well, who is he really. His arrogance angered me plenty of times through the book, lol. Which I guess showcases me getting into the story.

The Dark One’s personality suddenly changed near the end of the book and I wasn’t expecting such a drastic change from him. Christopher, well the same goes for him, his subservient behavior changed in a snap. Then he took Angela’s… anyway that seemed a bit fast. Christopher’s transformation I mean and their (Christopher and Angela’s) relationship.

Dark Scribe did a great job of with the separation between Angel and the Dark One and I enjoyed their reuniting.

This book goes much deeper and darker into this lifestyle than other books I have read, some parts I will admit had me cringing others wiggling in my seat!
The story reeled me in and I found the book very hard to put down.
This book pulls so many reactions out of you and the fact that it is based on a real life experiences was what made it more interesting for me.
I was so wrapped up with DL’s story that as soon as I had finished Fallen Angel brought the rest of the trilogy
An intense and gripping read.

Much much darker than 50shades. As this book is based on true experience tends to make it more exciting. Some parts not very nice to read.

really can't believe I got this book free from amazon.

Some parts if the book made me feel ill to my stomach. The way she allowed herself to be treated but was unable to put the book down.

First off, I just want to say that I hate giving ANY book only 2 stars. I've been working on a book myself and I understand all the thought, work and time that goes into getting a story from your head and into the hands of others.

The Good: This book was well written. Grammar and spelling were wonderful. The voice of the book and it's characters were such that I felt I almost immediately understood who they were as people.

My Opinion: I just couldn't buy into the idea that this was a true story. Granted, I'm not in The Lifestyle, but I just couln't grasp itas realistic. That one fact really ruined the book for me.
I did read the book beginning to end, and the end bothered me. And then once I processed the ending of the book I became a bit more upset about other things in the story.

I guess I just didn't like this story for what it was. That seldom happenes to me and I am bummed about it.
I have no inclination to read the second book.

This book goes much deeper and darker into this lifestyle than other books I have read, some parts I will admit had me cringing others wigging in my seat! And some parts will stick with you ….like the Ball
The story reeled me in and I found the book very hard to put down. Some of you will not like the main character DL, he is not your normal young, hot, CEO which I actual thought was a refreshing change!
This book pulls so many reactions out of you and the fact that it is based on a real life experiences was what made it more interesting for me.I was so wrapped up with DL’s story that as soon as I had finished Fallen Angel brought the rest of the trilogy.

If like me you like erotic books, try this one…. it’s an intense and gripping read

I agree with one of the reviewers who said that this book suffers from identity crisis. Good luck trying to figure this story out. It's a mess. The story depicts "love?" that I absolutely don't want to have anything to do with; D/S or not D/S. Read it at your own risk.
