Voluspa: Seidhr as Wyrd Consciousness

Rate this book
Seiðr is profound intuition and ineffable wisdom, and Völuspá is the single most important text on Seiðr - the European 'shamanistic' tradition. This is the only book that explains them both with remarkable depth and clarity. A must read for anyone who seeks to rekindle Old European spiritual traditions in their every day life!

I really liked this book it went beyond your typical "Intro to Asatru" and talked about Wyrd, Odin, and fate in some detail. This might be why it got so many negative ratings. The deeper thoughts in Heathendom are beyond the newbie.

This is by no means a beginners book on Seiðr. But, has some very compelling and thought provoking statements.
