William G. Gray, better known to many as Bill Gray, was an English ceremonial magician, Hermetic Qabalist and writer, who published widely on the subject of western esotericism and the occult. Gray founded a magical order known as the Sangreal Sodality.

William Gray is one of the unsung heroes of occultism. His writing is clear, focused, and articulate. He explains concepts and practices in a way that will make you learn and do magic effectively. If you want to do real magic, read this book, do the exercises and what you'll develop is a rigorous process of magic that gets results. This book is as relevant now as it was when first written.
