He is the recent recipient of the Will Rogers Gold Medallion award. Ideas come from a diverse past of serving as a combat search and rescue helicopter crewman in Vietnam and a volunteer Emergency Medical Tech first responder. He has worked as a professional photographer, computer repair tech and was part-owner of a commercial greenhouse operation and flower shop.

IT'S WORST THAN ANYTHING YOU TOUGHT POSSIBLE, YET YOUR ONLY OPTION IS TO SURVIVE OR DIE TRYING
Chrysalis: An Apocalyptic Thriller (Apocalypse Chronicles Book 5) by Darrel Sparkman is another book in this series that is well written, action-packed, with well defined characters that are going through the aftereffects of the supply chain braking down. With no gas, no food, water not safe to drink, electricity out, the hospitals, police, and the government pretty much out of the pitcher, a small group of people fight for their survival from gangs, evil thugs, and even those of the government that should be protecting life are determined to end it cruelly for resources for themselves. When your wife leaves, your children die, and you are conscripted, forced to fight and kill others for the same resources has a gladiator and cannon fodder for immoral and corrupt government officials, your only choice is to fight and win or die. I enjoyed this book as well as the previous books in this series and hope you will too. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR YOUNGER AUDIENCES DUE TO CONTINENT AND SUBJECT MATTER.
