This is the 1st book I read by Glynna Kaye. I'm sorry I stopped reading this story at chapter 2 because it didn't grab my interest.

Canyon springs
Book 5

When Macy Colston shows up in Jake's hometown to do a blog as a promotion for the town, he has to warn her right off. Six years ago, she'd posted an article that cost him a friendship and broke up their relationship. Now she's back and he's worried she is looking for dirt. But this story is only for the goodness of Canyon Springs, right?

But as Macy starts digging, she learns a big secret - one that could ruin her chances of ever having a future with Jake.

I don't want to really give anything a way or give reasons why I gave this book three stars, but I'll say that I did NOT agree with Macy's choice on how to handle the discovery. She apparetnly didn't learn anything from six years ago, and I was totally rooting for Jake and his grandmother! The mere fact that she tried to hide it from Jake tells me that she knew she was doing wrong.

Enough said.

But I loved Jake!

This is a sweet romance about a previously wounded couple who learn to love and trust each other again. The main characters are flawed, but so easy to fall in love with. I was rooting for both of them to overcome their emotional obstacles during the whole book. The story resolved itself realistically and at a comfortable pace; not too fast or too slow. Overall, it was a great read. There is a twist near the end that nobody sees coming… all I’m going to say is that I absolutely loved it! If you’re looking for a sweet, enjoyable read, pick up a copy of this book. Highly recommended.

Best Canyon Springs book yet. Love the characters and the intrigue with Macy's story. I enjoyed reading this book so much. I love the inspiration of the Christian values in the book as I really need inspiration in my life so much since losing my Mom in October and my sister in July. I need more Canyon Springs!

This one was a little harder for me to get in to than most of the other books I've read by this author.

Glynna Kaye's Canyon Springs romances are always a delightful read. This one included a touch of mystery and an interesting twist at the end. Very nicely done!
