This is an adaption of the novel "The D.A. Takes a ChanceThe D.A. Takes a Chance" written by Erle Stanley Gardner,
Someone reports a shot had been fired at a party over a week ago to The Blast, Sunil begin investigation, while at first everyone says there was no murder, soon they start saying it was accident, and then again another murder happens.
Its a good mystery all in all, but you kind of see how it was done and by who. what gets me is like A.B. Carr in the original book, Mahant gets away with his crimes inspite of solid proofs against him. Its written that he gets married to avoid prosecution, but the prosecution has other proofs than his, now wife. There was no way he should have gotten away legally. Perhaps SMP had given no thought to this in his adaptation.
