5 Stars!

Loved it. Loved it. LOVED. IT. I'm biased because I've been a huge fan of this series since book 1, but it's hard not to deny that this series is amazing if not, at least, fantastic! I dive into each book of this series expecting an adorable YA PG-13 romance and never come out disappointed. Like the past books, this particular one has its ups and downs. The only difference is that it doesn't end with a suspenseful cliffhanger and has a more likable ending. ;)

While I absolutely love the book, there are two complaints I have but they're pretty minor and mostly a personal preference. Like the other books in the series, I really really really really really REALLY wish that each book was longer. They're all too short (for me anyways) and they definitely have more potential to be even more amazing than they already are. Maybe the next book in the series will be longer? *crosses fingers*

The other complaint I have is that Trystan's POV is told in third person. Again, this complaint is minor and more of a personal preference, but I would like the consistency of having both POVs told in first person (plus I feel more connected with a character when the story is told in first person narration).

Overall, I was happy with the book. If you've been a fan of the series and haven't read the book yet...READ IT NOW. I guarantee that you'll love it and that it will probably be your most favorite of the series (so far anyways ;)). If you're new, I highly recommend you start this series if you like short innocent YA romance novels. It's not only great to read for passing time, but it's overall a great read if you want to dive into a new series!

The completion of the Secret Life of Trystan Scott ended perfectly! I am so glad I picked up this series, H.M. Ward created a very sweet story of two friends who fall in love with each other. Both with secrets that surround their home life and both wanting so much more out of the life that they seemed destined for if their parents have their way.

The secret is out, Day Jones is no longer just the unknown singer online. And Trystan has a chance of a lifetime within his reach. This series is the prequel to his book, Broken Promises which will be a fast forward of his life three years after the end of this book. And in case you were wondering, the cross over into Stripped gives you a glimpse into the life Trystan is leading.

H.M. Ward and her serials have become like crack for me, I can't seem to get enough of them. I am glad to know that Trystan's story is going to continue and I really hope that I get a HEA out if it. Another stellar job with a great series.

Awwww, I have loved this series, we all knew the shit was about to hit the fan with the Day Jones revelation. Well Trystan took it on the chin and dealt with it, Brie gets her just desserts, Mari is a trooper and helps Trystan to see what needs to be done. I loved the fact that there was an adult for both Trystan and Mari who was looking out for them and their best interests and loved that Trystan recognised that. There is always a moral to the story. Was also pleased with the attendance of the rose bearing guest to the play, glad they saw the light!! Can't wait to see Trystan in Stripped. All these cross overs!! So exciting!!

Wow what an ending. What I already know is that this was written in these 5 parts, book 6 Broken Promises wasn't written until later. The couple both appear in the arrangement series separate of each other. This was a great ending. It is a happy ending no worries. I read this out of order so I already know things but so far this is a great introduction to Trystan and Mari. I can't wait to read book 6 but I'll wait until it's reading order comes up in the Ferro Family, which isn't for awhile :( I could read ahead and just already know all about this couple but it is fun to read books in the order the author recommends. I loved Seth, Katie & Tucker. Like I had mentioned I knew the secondaries would become important but I like how they came around. I really enjoyed this series. I couldn't put it down, to me it was fast paced and exciting. Although you were left with a lot of questions the 5 books on whole really bring it all together. I hope you enjoy these books and I will eventually see you in book 6. I can't wait. Enjoy

I loved this book, I love this whole series. I wanted to get this series read before I read Stripped since Trystan is in that book and I am so glad I did, man what I was missing, I love Trystan and Mari. There are so many parts to this book that were exciting, heartbreaking, loving, fun, and hot. Right from the start I want to punch Brie, the conniving witch, I was really happy about what happens to her later. I hate that Trystan was bombarded like that at school but at the same time I am glad that this part if finally being wrapped up. I was happy that Mari and Tyrstan finally came clean and told their best friends about them being in love. I still think Seth and Katie are perfect for each other, not really happy about Seth's future plans though. Wow how Mari's father acted with Trystan and Mari, he is just as bad as Trystan's father just a different kind of abuser. I think it is great that Mari takes it into her own hands to map out her future and I love that Mr. Tucker is helping Trystan with his future. You can read between the lines how worried both Trystan and Mari are about what will happen to them as a couple once he signs a deal and leaves the area to make his music. I want them to make it, I hate always reading the stories where one person goes off and becomes famous and forgets about his true love back home only to return years later and wanting her back, I want them to work it out from the start and keep their relationship going strong the whole time, wouldn't that be unique for a change. It is wonderful the reception they get after their performance in the play and the surprise that Mari got was wonderful, even if part of the equation was missing. At the end of their performance when Trystan decides to speak to the reporters my tears began to fall and didnt stop until the last word was written. I loved how he spoke about loving Mari, her not knowing, writing the song for her, about his mother leaving him, his abusive father, and him being Day Jones. Then he sings for them, makes the announcement regarding his future and I love the surprise he gives someone, and then him kissing Mari's hand with Holly's beautiful last words was the perfect ending. I hate that we have to wait until this winter for the Trystan Scott novel but part of me is glad because if course I am worried that him and Mari's relationship will be over just like every other rock and roll romance book I read, ugh I hope not.

Revealed will leave you overwhelmed with emotion. Be careful when you read this one. It is a beautiful story about young love. Revealed will make you fall in love with Trystan and you may judge all guys based on him. He is a amazing. The way he loves Mari during this one will make your heart explode. Trystan's secret is revealed and his life will never be the same. Brie has Revealed his secret to the media and Trystan is suddenly thrown into a whirlwind. Trystan escapes the mob of press who want to talk with him. Him and Mari have to have a conversation. What should Trystan do? Luckily for him he has a pretty amazing support system of friends. They are there for him to help him through this. Yes, even Seth! So, does he admit to it? Will all his dirty laundry be aired because of it? What will happen to Mari?

I loved Katie and Seth in this volume. They are amazing friends who are there for their for Trystan and Mari. I think that because of Seth and Katie, Trystan was able to do what he did at the end of the volume. I ultimately ended up hating Brie and I hope we never have to see her again. The way she broke the news about Trystan was a crap thing to do. Given the opportunity I would do this to Brie:

Trystan has grown so much. He is a boy that had to be a man way sooner then he should have been. He deserves to be happy and to have a life where he doesn't have to eat almost expired food because his dad is to drunk to support him. He deserves to have a life where he doesn't have to worry about money ever again. If I got my happily ever after it would be that him and Mari have an amazing life together and have little babies and an amazing life.

Luckily there will be a full blown Trystan novel this winter!! Woohoo! It takes place 3 years after the end of Revealed. The title is Broken Promises, which has me worried!!! I am so glad we will get to see what happens with his life! I highly recommend this series to everyone. It was awesome!!

You can find this review at My Favorite Things

Revealed by H.M. Ward is the final book in The Secret Life of Trystan Scott series of serial novels, but not the last we will hear of Trystan. There is a novel of his life three years after the end of this book that is set to be released mid-January, 2014. The book is called Broken Promises: A Trystan Scott Novel.

A happy conclusion to the drama in both Trystan & Mari's lives. Their best friends are getting closer, the future is looking brighter, and the world now knows that Trystan is Day Jones. I'm excited to see what has happened between the end of this chapter of their lives and the next Trystan novel. H.M. Ward I think you are wonderful. I am emotionally invested in every one of your characters.

Revealed tidies up loose ends. Saying any more about the story will provide too many spoilers. Needless to say, if you have read the first 4 books you absolutely MUST read this one. It's an absolute no-brainer.

Trystan is wearing his most charming smile, trying to hide the knots in his stomach, and then he does what he always does when things get unbearable – he acts his way out. With enough charm and vibrato, no one sees what’s real and what’s not—well, no one but Mari.

We both get two shiny new lives and they’re going in different directions.

The one thing Trystan didn’t want to happen is right in front of his face. Keeping his singing a secret has just come into the limelight. Can he be the infamous Day Jones? How did the press find him? Brie has jumped into the spotlight, claiming to be the inspiration for the song that was uploaded to the internet. Protecting Mari has always been his priority, and now Trystan is worried that she will be upset if others know who he wrote the song for.

Mari wants to escape the verbal abuse she faces from her father. Applying for early graduation is something Mari has decided will help her escape her home life. When their privacy is harder and harder to come by, Trystan and Mari seek help from Katie, Seth, and Mr. Tucker. All of them explain to Trystan that coming clean about his past, and facing a music career on his terms is the only way to keep from being dragged into the spotlight.

This story was written beautifully. I loved the way Trystan made sure that Mari would be safe and happy before taking care of his own well being. The love story between the two is beautiful and endearing. Tystan Scott’s precursor to fame will wrap up with this final book in the series. I look forward to finding out more about Trystan and where he life leads him.

The perfect ending to the rise of Trystan Scott. The way Tristan was concerned how his stardom would affect Mari was sweet. I was also happy to finally see Trystan come to the realization about Tucker. I am left with a smidgen of curiosity as in one of the prior books Tucker made a comment about things not being Trystan's fault as if he knew something about why his mother left. Maybe an assumption on my part, but I was hoping maybe it would have come to light in the prequels. The conclusion of Mari's situation was endearing and I'll even admit tears came to my eyes as the book slowly concluded. I am looking forward to the next part of the series about what happens 3 years later as well as what happens in Stripped.

Estuvo bien pero ningún libro de esta serie llegó a convencerme por completo. Además que la autora pudo haber hecho un libro con estas 5 mini historias. ¿Qué fue eso? Acababan en un suspiro¬¬

I feel disappointed and cheated. I thought that this was the end of this series, but after 5 fucking books I learned that there is another because they don't stay together at the end??? What??? Is seriously???? I think I reached my limit with this author, this kind of serial novel is simply not for me.

I was ready to give 4 stars because it’s not finished for me when I found out there’s one more book to go. Since it’s not in the suggested reading order until much later, I guess I’ll have to wait to find out the true ending of Trystan and Mari.

For some reason, I never read the last serialized story years ago when I read the other ones. I couldn't exactly remember all that went down but it was easy to get back into the swing of things.
It's a cute story with lots of angst and drama. It's good there is a full novel because the ending isn't very complete as it stand right now.

My rating for this book is 3.0 stars.

This series was amazing. I still don't know why I waited so long to read it. It's pretty cold outside tonight - does that mean it's winter and his Novel is about to released? Ha - wishful thinking.

I enjoyed the entire series. I love Katie - will there be a story to tell of her and perv Seth? LOL I was completely devastated at the lives these kids have had to endure but warmed me that they had amazing people in their corner.

Did I cry? Ummm, Yeah majorly!!! Did I laugh? Totally, my guts came out I swear (in time for Halloween?) *giggle* I really enjoyed everything, I felt all kinds of emotions in this latest edition. Where in the others I didn't leave a status update, but in this one I had to. I wanted to smash her father. If there was someway to get inside the book and do so I would have done so.

Also, Brie... What do u expect from a person named after the most disgusting cheese there is known to man. The only way it remotely is good if you warm it up. This bitch couldn't get even close to being warm for all the coldheartedness she spewed. I loved that in little ways she was paid back, well Mar-e really paid her back, she not only got her nose knocked in but Mari stole the show...

Finally, Mr Tucker - this Man brings to mind the most amazing male teacher I had in High School... There are so many teachers who are underpaid and have lost the notion to care as you saw by the way Trystan was treated by some of them. No Mr Tucker though. This big man, has the biggest heart out of all of them. The things he did, and expected nothing in return. The world really needs more, Mr. Tucker's... It would be a much better place... Perhaps we'd have less criminals too! But I digress.

If you haven't read this series yet - you really should... Check out Facebook and like HM Ward https://www.facebook.com/AuthorHMWard... to find out the other amazing series and novels she writes. Or her blog at http://www.SexyAwesomeBooks.com

You won't be disappointed!!!!

OOPS - PS I missed the main character... Trystan is amazing, hot, talented, loving, protective and a super duper guy! I love him to bits.... Can't wait to read more about him in the future. I like the little bit of him in stripped... It sounded like he still got around though - even though it was mostly talk... Will have to see what the future holds for these too 3 yrs later!!! Ummm - again, is it winter yet?

See original review on my blog!

Wow I can’t believe this series is over. I was lucky enough to read most of these books back to back which I honestly think is the best way to read them but just my opinion.

Sadly Mari wasn’t in this book as much as I wanted her to be. I was a bit disappointed with the ending because I don’t know what’s going to happen. Mari made a decision about high school and college which was a great choice in my personal opinion. He parents really sucked the big one and her father really shows his true ugly colors in this one. What a freaking a-hole. Ugh I could go on all day about what an ars hat her father is.

Here’s a taste of his butt holeyness: “I gave you everything and this is how you repay me? You cut school and sit home playing house with this piece of sh*t! You’re a goddamn wh*re!”

Yeah so like I said…ars hat.

Anyway Revealed deals a lot with Trystan and what he’s going to do with his life now that all of his secrets are about to be revealed. His father was arrested, he doesn’t have any place to live, and he’s Day Jones the guy who made a song for the girl he loved. Sexy, sweet, and scared Trystan faces his fears and takes the leap into stardom!

All in all while I enjoyed the story I was disappointed to not find out what happened with Trystan and Mari. Revealed was a great quick read and I loved this entire series.

3 stars -- OK, first things first: that blurb is really misleading. I hate that.

Second, if I didn't know there was another followup novel in the future, this ending would seriously piss me off. I feel like I invested in this serial (that is really kind of expensive for what you get), and we didn't really get much of a plot at all. It kind of felt like a soap opera where it keeps going and going, but at the end you didn't really get much. There was no resolution with either parents. You got a glimmer of their futures, but I didn't really believe it was going to all work out nice, so it felt like it just kind of ended abruptly. And thinking of it from the other perspective, KNOWING there is another book in the future (and seeing a glimpse of what it's supposed to be about and that they are separated) I will admit to being confused with the happy (ish) ending. So that was kind of disappointing too.

I guess I liked reading more Trystan and Mari together, and I enjoyed seeing the Seth and Katie bits, but all in all it was just kind of unsatisfying. Oooooo, I also really loved the Tucker stuff. I really hope Broken Promises delivers what was missing in this serial novella series. It was cute, but it could have been a lot shorter and with more meat.
