An excellent little guide I will definitely refer to again in future as I continue on my sewing journey :) I've been greatly enjoying perusing the Threads magazines my library has, and was delighted when I came upon this book in sewing section. It does a really good job explaining terms you keep seeing in the sewing world and offers an array of wonderful little tips. I wasn't a huge fan of the projects, but everything else was great!

One of the better general introductions to sewing I've read and some less run of the mill first-timer patterns.

I'm a fan of Threads magazine and this is the quality I've come to expect. Thorough and clear text.
