My son *LOVED* this book for a couple of years. There's a couple of more books about Toad. All told in rhyme, cute pictures, no plot really. But he thought it was GREAT!
A good book for beginning readers, this is a fun story to read aloud. The illustrations are fun and the narrative is simple and rhyming. Our girls had fun reading this one aloud with me.
Fun reading with a four-year-old, but probably better for a younger audience. The pictures were cute, and the rhymes worthy of a beat rap. My son enjoyed it, but I'm not sure he'll be asking for seconds.
Rhyming, cute, funny, and a total favorite for the two year old. I also appreciate the small class reference ("I take the coach because it's cheaper") and, ya know, TRAINS!
