just when i though the series couldn’t get any more sad and messed up…it gets more sad and messed up 😭 honestly, hanako/amane and tsukasa’s backstory seems to be deviating way (way) off of my theories from when i first started reading, and looks to be crazier than what i originally anticipated. that is to say, im ready to cry a bunch when we finally figure out everything 😭 i love how in depth this volume went, i can’t wait to get my hands on the physical copy in english to add it to my collection. 100/10 for this volume and the series in general 😫💖‼️

1) Why is that house so creepy T-T

2) Seeing Kou having to face and say no to all of his wishes appearing in front of him, really was heartbreaking.

3) Tsukasa and Amane as little kids were so cute tho!!

4) But damn, the twins' backstory is pretty sad... and horrifying...

5) Kinda amazing how I went from disliking/kinda hating Teru in, like, the first 10 volumes, but now like him actually. Well, I guess seeing someone be normal, have an actual personality and failing sometimes, does make them more like-able.

6) So, what is Teru's dream...?
Maybe he should go into that house and then we'll see for ourselves...

7) That new addition to the world-building was nice. So that's where the Kannagi go after death... kinda makes sense the place'd be connected to the "wish-house"... or rather, to the person's home, who's able to grant wishes and where it all started.

8) What was Mitsuba's wish tho...?
I'm guessing, that's how he died, right? He went to the house, maybe was lured in like Kou and Nene, and then seeing his wish came true, he stayed there, which eventually killed him.
But what was what he longed for? Just to have friends? Surely that would be sus, going to a strange house and suddenly you have friends, right.
(I hope his death hasn't been revealed yet, bc that'd be a bit embarrassing.)

okay now this was a roller-coaster ride. learning about tsukasa and amane's backstory was the thing that i've been anticipating since i watched the manga years ago and this volume finally started providing me with some insight as to how their pasts came to fall under the "wish-granting" circumstances.

i cannot wait until their story gets developed as the series continues and i am eagerly anticipating a manga full of many more plot twists!!

I loved this book. But it was so sad. We kind of got to see Tsukasa’s pov a little bit. And it changed my opinion on him. I don’t think he’s all that bad anymore. And the sacrifice he made for Hanako when we he was only just a kid… proves his love for him. I don’t hate him anymore. And I can’t wait to read more abt their relationship.

Die Plottwist hauen mich jedes Mal um, vorallem jetzt mit Hanakos Vergangenheit, wow.
Und kleiner Hanako/Tsukasa ;W; sie sind SO PUTZIG.
Und natürlich, was soll ich anders sagen, die Szene mit Kou und "Mitsuba", mhhh, das hat dem ganzen Manga den 5ten Stern verpasst. *hüstel*

Initial thoughts 💭: I read this too quickly and kinda hate myself for it 🤡. But the plot is unfolding but now I’m kinda confused… like what is real anymore? What happened between Hanako and Tsukasa? What happened to their “wishes”?

The series feels so different now! No more self-contained episodic chapters, we are full on serialized arcs. And it’s GREAT! The Red House is cool and spooky and we’re getting tidbits of lore about the Yugi family. Can’t wait to see how it ends (and if we get our fav spirits back).

Got to learn more about Hanako and Tsukasa's past. I can't wait to learn more and I really like this arc so far. The Red House arc is pretty creepy but also interesting.

Świetny tom! Dosłownie płakałam z ilości słodyczy w tym tomie ale jak wiadomo działy też się powalone rzeczy jak zawsze. Nie jest to to samo co było na początku serii, bo wtedy było spokojnie i przyjemnie. Od jakiegoś 8 tomu dzieją się coraz to dziwniejsze rzeczy, które doprowadzają do łez szczęścia, złości jak i smutku. Polecam każdemu 💋
