Grandmother’s Irish blessing might be part of my roots, but I lost my luck along the way. I’m not even sure when it happened, but I know nothing has worked to get it back. Nothing has worked in my life for a long time and I’m sick of it.
I don’t know where the inspiration comes from, but something is telling me to go to Ireland in search of my history and the memories of my grandparents. If I find a little luck while I do it, all the better.
I should have known my brother, Duncan, was going to get involved. I can’t say I’m mad at him for sending Doyle to keep an eye on me. I probably need it. Causing an international incident isn’t exactly on my agenda.
I go to Ireland in search of my roots and something, anything, to change the tide of my life. I can’t help but wonder if I was looking for Doyle all along. I’m not sure if I’m lucky enough to keep him, but I hope I am.
DOYLE
When I get a call about an old friend’s sister traveling by herself on some quest of self-discovery, or whatever reason she has for visiting Ireland, I am hesitant to agree to keeping an eye on her. I might grumble about it, but even if I didn’t owe Duncan one, I’d do this for him. How hard could it be?
I should have asked more questions. Finley is a disaster on two legs. I’m a little worried she’ll be the death of me, us, and maybe the whole rock we live on.
The thing is, she’s also the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. And she’s mine. All mine.
She’s looking for her history and some luck; I’ll help her find everything she thinks she wants. I’ll also give her everything she doesn’t realize she needs—a future with me filled with so much joy and love not even a little streak of unluckiness will touch it. I won’t let it.

I absolutely loved this story. Finley is on a trek to Ireland to find herself. Doyle is an old friend of her brother, Duncan, who asks him to watch out for her on her trip. Their connection is instant, and I loved every minute of it. Doyle is every woman's fantasy come to life, and Finley is so relatable. I loved the connection to the Denver crew, as is per usual in Ember's books, and this one was amazing. It was a super quick read, but I didn't want it to end.

This was an amazing instalove romance. Finley went to Ireland to connect with her roots and find some luck in her life. She was met at the airport by Doyle who was sent by her brother. It was love at first sight for them both. Their relationship was hot and steamy and sweet and fun. This was a great instalove romance. I loved the chemistry between Doyle and Finley, it was so clear from the beginning. The story was sweet and funny but it it also brought all the steamy bits that I love. I’m such a fan of the way Ember Davis creates these wonderful standalone stories that are all so interconnected that it makes me want to go back and read her entire back catalogue.

Finley and Doyle's story reminded me of a chocolate truffle! Sweet and delightfully rich for a quick little read. Finley went to Ireland to find her roots and maybe shake off the bad luck that has seemed to plague her adult life. She gets more than she could have hoped for when Doyle meets her at the airport. He falls for her immediately and vows to show her his country and his devotion. This couple is just charming, 5 stars for Doyle and Finley!

An amazing instalove page-turner in the Get Lucky series! It is emotionally deep, passionate, engaging, relatable, funny, steamy, romantic, and well written. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

She finds her luck and her home!
We finally meet Finley, the sister we have heard so much about, Duncan portrays her as a little flighty and never sticking when things get hard....I guess it's about perception. Duncan may see her as flighty but Finley sees herself as unlucky, Doyle however just sees it as the path she had to travel to get to him! The moment he sees her, mid disaster, he knows she is his...his heart, his soul...his forever!
A lovely whirlwind of a romance in Ireland, I am so excited that we finally get a Banks Ink World book that is based in the UK! Doyle is everything you would expect of a charming Irishman with the gift of the gab, but he is also everything Finlay needs. He has a different perspective in life, it's not bad luck that something happened, it's good luck that it happened here where it is safe rather than in five minutes where there would be more danger. A positive outlook that does wonders for Finley's self esteem whilst also making her rethink the blame she has laid at Duncan's feet for so long. I love their reunion and of course the ever eager Troy as the welcome wagon...he is like an over excited puppy!

I picked up this book because I loved the cover and when I read the blurb it was set in Ireland. Having visited there for the first time last fall, I was dying to read Finley's impression of the country. This novella is written in forst person from an alternating dual POV.
Finley is looking to turn her life and her luck around by visiting her roots and learning about the country of her grandparents. Doyle is a friend of her brother's tasked with the favor of looking after her while she is there. Doyle has no problem with this. As soon as he sees Finley he is head over heels. It doesn't take her long to catch up and their HEA was never in question.
This was a steamy read written with some beautifully lyrical prose at times. I rarely highlight much in a novella but this one had me highlighting a lot. Swoony romantic lines, long looks, intimate moments: they make this a story I am glad I grabbed. It was wonderful.

I absolutely loved this book. But then again I always love Embers books.
The insta-love from Doyle when Finlay came out of the airport was just everything you want in a book. Finlay was going over there to shake off her seemingly bad luck and in doing so gained so much good luck and that good luck is named Doyle.
The love story was so adorable. Thank you ember for creating another fantastic story for me to enjoy.

A cute romance read.
A sweet and steamy insta-love romance read 5ha5 didn’t disappoint. Finally had a plan to find herself when she goes in a tripod a lifetime to Ireland. What she didn’t expect was to have her brother phone a friend Doyle to watch over her. But the jokes on him as instant attraction plays a role in making her trip so much more than she expects. This was a cute swoon worthy romance read with great characters and a fast pace storyline.

Finley is in kind of a limbo in her life. Her life is kind of unlucky and she thinks a vacation in Ireland (her grandparents are from Ireland ) will help her find luck again. Doyle is tasked to play her guide in Ireland. So, I love myself some Irish lads. Doyle is amazing!!! I really enjoyed this story. This is an insta love story that is steamy, cute and just too good for my simple words. This book makes you want to travel to Ireland for some Irish luck. Finley (who doesn't love that name) is searching for her goodness and finds it in a funny way with Doyle. You won't be disappointed by these two.

I so loved how it seems bad luck just fallows Finley and Doyle is starting to think he has bad luck too until Finley's bad luck strikes her in front of Doyle. Another great fun, romantic read from Ember Davis who I absolutely cannot get enough of her books. This is the story of Finley and Doyle who meet when Finley travels to Ireland to find some luck in her life. That luck is in the form of Doyle and they both fall passionately in love at first sight. I loved reading about their adventure and also the wonderful connection they instantly had to one another. They had such great chemistry and the passion between them was sky high. Highly recommend this book and all the books by Ms Davis.

Such a sweet story!! I love it. A girl down on her luck. Travels to Ireland to trace her roots in hopes of finding luck. When Finley’s brother finds out she changed her travel plans and no longer going to Denver. He calls in a favor!! Doyle see’s Finley with her bad luck exploding and falls in love with her. A sweet funny story!!

Since I read Duncan’s story, I have wanted Finley’s story so I was so happy to read this book! It was everything I could have wanted and more. From Doyle and Finley’s first meeting to Finley’s reunion with her brother, it just made me emotional and happy. And the spark and heat between Doyle and Finley is everything. So good!
