"Benregesh is a rip-roaring adventure!" —D.J. Butler, Author of Witchy Eye

Prepare to be spellbound by an explosive new fantasy that defies all conventions, now with 30 additional pages of original comic art to immerse you even deeper into the world of Benregesh.

Thirteen years ago, Kaleb Mastiff witnessed his father's tragic demise at the hands of the dreaded Necrothrall, a nightmarish demon from ancient legends. That haunting memory has clung to him like a shadow ever since.

Now, a struggling young adult, Kaleb finds himself in the heart of the action at the Benregesh Detective Agency. In a city where car chases, bar brawls, and mystical chaos are everyday occurrences, Kaleb is ready to dive headfirst into danger. Criminals in Mitror City are a deadly blend of firepower and magic, but he's undaunted.

But when the Necrothrall resurfaces, unleashing a torrent of fire and blood, Kaleb's world is upended once more. With the murder of a city leader and the entire Cocoon at risk, the Benregesh Detective Agency is called upon to hunt down this ancient evil. Now, Kaleb is thrust into a desperate race against time.

The key to defeating the Necrothrall lies hidden within the memories of his father's death, and Kaleb must unlock it to save those he holds dear. Failure is not an option, for the fate of everything hangs in the balance.

In Benregesh, you'll be transported to a realm of epic battles and unparalleled stakes, where surrender is inconceivable. Get ready to embark on a breathtaking adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

Praise for Benregesh
"Benregesh is a rip-roaring adventure that oozes with style and stars characters for whom you can't help but cheer. It's violent and loud, but it's also punctuated by quiet and heartfelt character moments—moments which ground the reader in its deeply imaginative world, and moments which make you feel each broken bone and each drop of blood spilt."

J.C. Chambers III

Back in the Summer of 2006, J.C. decided to write fun stories. And much to the exasperation of literally everyone around him, he never stopped trying to write fun stories.

Now, it's so many years later, and J.C. is still writing fun stories. He's even published a few of them. Hopefully, you like those stories. If not, everybody has their own tastes, so it's cool.

If you like giant-scaled anime-inspired fantasy epics, you'll probably like J.C.'s books. If you like watching paint dry, you might not like J.C.'s books.

If you like deep, unorthodox world-building that mashes together a bunch of influences, you'll probably like J.C.'s books. If want to read Lord of the Rings knockoff literature, you might not like J.C.'s books.

If you like seeing Japanese and Thai influences in fantasy novels, you'll probably like J.C.'s books (he lived in both of those places). If you prefer your fiction set solidly in fake medieval Europe, you might not like J.C.'s books.

J.C.'s favorite activities include talking, hearing himself talk, writing, reading what he wrote, and talking to other people about what he wrote. He also likes video games, programming, history, anime, mechas, mountains, rivers, oceans, monkeys, dogs, cats, and singing badly. He does not like hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, or the sound of dull pencils on paper.

Lastly, his favorite person in the whole world is his wife Tasha. After that, it's probably Steve Irwin.
