The book keep u on nerves since the very first line of the novel....
The Italian architecture, the concerns of environmentalist (extremist) is depicted exceptionally well...
The reference to Dante's Inferno... the first part of The Divine Comedy is very well used. Its neither too much nor too less.... just as much needed...
Plus the main theme of the novel... "The Darkest Places in Hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in the times of moral crisis..."
I have now finished all of Dan Brown’s novels and am truly in awe of his imagination and how thought provoking his books have been. Inferno being no different. His writing makes you think of so many things all of us at one time or another have also stopped to consider. I find myself feeling more enlightened and have an even deeper respect of all cultures, religions and opinions and how we should all find a way to embrace each other and have open respectful dialogue so that we can find a way to have humanity prevail against all challenges. It is no surprise that Dan Brown is as accomplished and acclaimed as he is.
This book is about major issues, the overpopulated world and the lack of resources in the future for the coming generations blended with the famous work of Dante’s Divine Comedy. Could almost relate to the current pandemic and bioterrorism. The literature and art references given are very informative and exciting. I loved the ending. This book is my second favorite out of the Dan Brown series.
It wasn't bad but I think the author just rushed the ending I mean....the book speaks about eugenetics with huge philosophical repercussions on human race, Übermensch and Nitsche and all that but in the end everything ends with a shoulder raise and a "ok whatever...there will be someone brilliant and visionary at some point that will take charge of that problem and will decide for the entire human race cause human race is unable to decide for itself" Well done Dan Brown, really a smart ending. It would have been more interesting to read of a sequel to this story and not about how Dan Brown sees human race judgment

Regarding Dan brown books , I really like the way of how he blends facts and fiction together, reading his books , its quite difficult to say , whether it is fact or fiction, Coming to " Inferno" one can find the same zeal and zest as we find in the remaining books of Dan Brown, Introducing Robert Langdon, in a very feeble stage , with all his memory of the past few hours gone, the book introduces a stage of mystery and thrill right from the very beginning, taking us through an exhilarating ride filled with thrill and betrayal..
It is indeed a good read, and one will find it utterly amazing
this is an amazingggg book . the plot was good and yeah i am a little biased heeeeee. dan brown is my favourtie author and especially the robert langdon series are mesmerizing . the characters were described amazingly, was written using easy vocabulary, the plot was woahhh amazing , there are a lot of twists and turns and the story in overall is amazing . i would recommend u trying to read this book if u like historical stuffs. this is a good mystery/thriller book and u will love it.
I didn't expect it! It was hard trying to go alongside Robert and his "amnesia" without knowing the real events. The museum part made my heart almost beat out of my chest when one of the guys that were following him the woman (I forget her name) fell through the painting and the museum was full of people.

This is a really terrific book. I think people forget how things started when they talk about current books by Patricia Cornwell. Back in the beginning, she was doing something no other woman was doing, and she did it really well. So well that she inspired folks like me. I figgered if she could get away with writing the kinds of books I like to read,
In spite of the fact that the ending is rather anticlimactic (i.e. the plague not being very deadly at all), the book still remains exciting throughout and thoroughly enjoyable. Unlike Brown's other titles (namely "angels and demons" and "the DaVinci code"), Inferno focuses much more on Dante's divine comedy. I found myself fascinated by the deep-dive that Brown gives us into Dante's work (which I had previously known very little about).

Not my favorite from Dan Brown, but still a solid entry. But let's just be real, topping the previous books in this series was never going to be easy. So yeah this was still really good and I recommend giving it a try.
The overall progression of plot was interesting with a couple of good twists. However, the ending made it seem like the entire story was unnecessary. The ending could have been better. The ending is not satisfactory.
