I thought this was a well-written book with good information. I'm a fan of Dr. Mercola's and he's enlightened me on a lot of things about my health, but through him, I was introduced to other good information on my health, mental well-being, fitness, etc. God bless Dr. Mercola.
The information is good but then it gets too complicated to follow when you are asked to determine what your "type" is via a short quiz. The quiz isn't extensive so your results may or may not be accurate and the entire diet is based on them. It turns out the extensive version of the quiz can be found in different book about Metabolic Typing. I'm not sure I buy the whole metabolic typing fad. It hasn't been explained to me in a way that makes enough sense. The basic health and political eating principles are there though.

Good stuff, good recipes for the file. Not as meaty as I hoped. I do not like the feeling that I bought a book only to be pitched on another book or program
The recipes are useful, though I'm not convinced of the metabolic diet idea... Though to imagine each of us need something slightly different in diet to be at our best makes sense.
