A childbirth book from Europe that features stories from real women who had their babies at home, featuring pictures and Q&A.

Borrowed from my birth class' lending library--like Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, but more comprehensive and with full-color pictures. Although the context wasn't totally relevant (outdated, European, mostly home births), the descriptions and photos were great preparation for Ezra's birth.

This is a very cool little book with lots of pictures of childbirth. The information in the beginning about having a healthy childbirth and what positions to get into is information I definitely wanted to remember. The stories are wonderful-it's very good and helpful to read about other's experiences about natural childbirth. And as an added bonus, there are some wonderful and interesting Dutch names in the stories.
