The System controls magic, but to rebels like student Rizzeal de Wick, defying the System to surf the waves of magic is worth every dangerous second. Enter the underground world of magic-dancer crews and power-surfer gangs. Waves is a fantasy thriller set in an alternate reality where magic and mathematics, reason and madness blend.

About the author

I am a software engineer, fantasy writer, visual artist, punk raver, and general troublemaker. My passions include music, dancing, art, the stories that run through my brain, studying and exploring human consciousness, dance parties, martial arts, and subverting the dominant paradigm. I am happiest when I am inspiring imaginative playfulness in those around me.

I have recently self-published my first fantasy novel, Waves, through CreateSpace. It is available on Amazon in print for and for the Kindle platform. I am busy working to promote it. I am also deep into writing my second novel, Perforation. Perforation is a dark-fantasy/horror novel. It is much, much darker than Waves, but retains a lot of the same visionary, out-there feel that Waves has.

When I am not writing, dancing, programming, gaming, or studying kung fu, I am often working on my digital visual art, some of which is available on Fine Art America.
