"Spring" by Stephanie Hedlund and illustrated by Stephanie Bauer is an informational book about Spring written for elementary school-age children. This book covers what Spring is, why it happens, when it happens, and what happens in the Spring. This book is very informational but keeps everything at a simple level that allows for the teacher to decide on whether they would like to go more in-depth or not. I could use this in a first, second, or fourth-grade classroom as they all have science standards pertaining to weather at different levels of understanding. I would use this book to help explain exactly what Spring is and why Spring occurs.
