It's no surprise that Florida is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation. This book reads like it was written by a fourth grade student, under duress. It's very simple, overlooks things that seem like they'd be important (like why there were three wars with the Seminoles), and glosses over the devastation to the Everglades. When a Fun Fact! is that sinkholes occur, makes me wonder what they consider fun. Honestly, I think an actual fourth grade student would have done a better job.
