I'd give this book a three-and-a-half star rating. It was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot in this book. For example, did you know that wherever you are in Michigan, you are always within 85 miles of a Great Lake! And, Michigan has one of the world's largest mueseum of African American culture and history! Very interesting!

This book was super interesting to read with my class! We used this book to write a newspaper article all about Michigan. This book was fun because there were specific parts in this book that I could connect with as well as could my students!
