The Transformed Life

Rate this book
Personal transformation requires radical change. It has been said that the only thing you can count on in this world is that nothing stays the same. You can change your address, your job, your wardrobe, your friends-you can even change your name-BUT your life will not transform until you change the way you think. Becoming a Christian ignites the process of transformation. Your relationship with God, eternal destination, and true self become new. Yet even with all these wonderful changes, we are left in a world, remain in a body, and are stuck with a mind that is pretty much the same. In this book, John Carter will teach you that God has designed a plan of genuine transformation for every person, one that goes far beyond the initial moment of salvation. Whether you realize it or not, you have the capacity and power to influence the direction of your life through a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. You can change. Here's how. One of the greatest challenges people face in today's culture is how to connect. In a distracted, disrupted, and rapidly transforming world, how do we meaningfully engage with others, ourselves, and God? That's why "The Transformed Life" by John Carter is so important. It's a road map for experiencing what the Bible teaches about personal transformation. We'll never transform our culture if our lives are not changed first, and this is an owner's manual for biblical change. The author is very gifted in that he makes complex spiritual truths easy to understand. Before you get to the end of this book, it becomes evident that John Carter has been given uncommon wisdom concerning biblical issues. With ease, John cuts through passages and verses revealing deeper truths overlooked by most of us that are skimming the surface of God's Word. This book will transform you if you let it.

Great Foundation Text

His book is vey deliberate in its approach and explanation of the foundations of the Christian faith and the responsibility of calling oneself a Christian. Prepare your heart before you read because it’s real and challenging.

This book is a great idea poorly written. Many passages were taken out of context, his logic is inconsistent and contradictory, and sometimes even borders heretical.

This book is pretty much fills in all the missing pieces to your knowledge of living a transformed life. For me, there were a lot of missing pieces, and John Carter's teaching really filled them in. He has a strong, Bible-based approach. This book could have been published by Zondervan, etc.
