I completely enjoyed this book, it's my first with this writer but she gives enough background information so I didn't feel lost at all. I love that Beanie, main character, and his wife Noelle have a strong loving relationship, you don't often see that. Beanie is an investigative reporter for the local small town paper who discovers a man stabbed in his own backyard. Join him as he tries to unravel this mystery and the others that follow!
Rachel Woods has written another enjoyable and exciting novel. Beanie and Noelle are an ideal couple so join them in this picture perfect story that will ring in your new year seamlessly. Highly Recommended. I was given this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Overall, it was a good mystery. The pieces came together nicely. My one complaint though is the final chapter. The great reveal. I think that could have been rewritten to something much more satisfying. I definitely did not expect the actually culprit to be…….. entertaining read indeed.
