This book made me feel so many emotions. I kept finding myself giggling or smirking. I was just in total ahhhh of all the main characters relationship. Aiden is definitely a man written by a woman🙌🥺. He's literally just the most caring, loving, absolute sweetest guy. If you like romance....a little smutty... then READ IT!!!
I liked the concept, but I really don't like the characters and the forced chemistry I'm supposed to feel from them. Our FMC is down on her luck, a mystery issue with her family leads to her moving out and forging a resume to try and find a job. I should have known I'd hate this story when we got to hear about her roommates boyfriends big hairy balls, mentioned multiple times in a couple of pages. Then, she moves in with a suspicious craigslist-esque character with cats she is severely allergic to, only for the woman to dissappear with her money and the cats, leaving her to sleep in her car. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a character down on their luck, but it seems like every time she is, something gets handed to her. An obviously fake resume with internet copied stories, the boss ignores it to help her out, fine. Her stealing bread and allergy medicine and people overlooking it because they can tell she's in a rough spot, not ideal but she had less than a dollar to her name, so it was a necessary evil. Her boss finding her sleeping in her car so he offers a space for her, okay this is nice but let's consider this carefully. As far as he knows, she steals food, she showed up with red eyes covered in welts that she kept scratching, he literally considered she was a recovering addict(this felt weirdly played as a joke by the way), she lied about her work experience and probably where she lived/her name, besides a forced proximity situation of them sleeping in a basement together and getting touchy Feely in their sleep, these two are strangers. He can see some of her genuine moments but he doesn't know anything about her, yet all he can think about is wanting to screw her. Seriously, like she showed up for the interview and he was drooling over her, every time they talk he's thinking about it. Yes, she had similar thoughts, but she felt a little more innocent, he felt like a wolf in sheep's clothing, luring her in with a warm meal and bed to screw her silly. I really just don't recommend this story, and it's not anything against the author, this just wasn't the story for me

Charlotte Prada’s roommate Nicole had to give her the bad news that she needed her to move out because her boyfriend was moving in. Everything in the place belonged to her roommate, so there was not much she had to do other than find somewhere else to live; and she only had $88 left. Where was she going to sleep tonight? Unfortunately, this drama had to happen on the morning of her interview at Lutrai, a new restaurant where they were now hiring. Having no experience, except for what she read about online, she hoped she would be able to figure it out when she started. Her only reference was her former boss and he was in jail. But she used to dine out with her family, so she had some experience she could refer to. But Aiden caught on right away that she wasn’t being truthful. So she dropped the façade and asked him to give her a chance for one month and fire her if she couldn’t prove herself by then.
Charlotte and Aiden’s story is well-written and shows us two people who knew how difficult it could be to overcome obstacles. Aiden’s friends took a chance on him, so he decided to give Charlotte a chance too. Would they find a HEA together once they got over the “bumps”?
Broke and no where to go, FMC had no choice but to lie in her resume so she would get the job as a waitress.
There is some insta-attraction, MMC hired her even though she seems odd and he knew she was lying.
The part where they got trapped in the wine celler and he sings about her shy bladder.. why? Just why?
Her roommate betrayed her, running with her rent money, so she had to live in her car. I just find that being ditch poor, and she still chose not to sell her car is unrelistic. Maintaining a car is expensive and where does she get the money for gas..
MMC found out about it, and insist she comes home with him until she can figure things out.
An old friend of hers saw her working and told MMC all about her past, and how her parents are scammers etc..
She visited her parent to get closure (Didn't like the part where she told her father she stole bread and medicine, and he comfort her saying she is not like him. The vibes it is giving is like she wants validation she is nothing like him.. just rubs me the wrong way)

Ugh, this book was way worse than book 1. I think the problem with this author is that there is a lot of time on the individual character development and not much time on the romance/couple development. Again, the first part of the book was interesting and good. But the middle was so boring that I couldn't wait for it to be over. As a nurse, I was especially annoyed at the inaccurate hospital/medical scenes. But also why was there so much time on the scenes involving Aiden's family, and so little time on the couple being together? And then they come together all in love at the end, when they've really not spent much time together. I have been excited for book 3, but now I don't think I'm going to read it.
Charlotte was desperate with no money and no job experience, she had to convince them to hire her at the new restaurant. Aiden and his best friends are finally opening a new restaurant with him as the new head chef. While hiring staff, he was instantly attracted to Charlotte and gave her a chance to prove to him that she deserves to be hired. This was a nice slow burn and low drama type of book. It was incredibly adorable.

I enjoyed this book just as much as the first! Aiden and Charlotte meet when she's desperate for a job...as soon as they see each other the rest of the world fades away. Charlotte has secrets, but that doesn't stop Aiden from wanting to protect her and claim her as his forever. When he finds out her secrets, what will happen?...

Charlotte ends up moving out, and finding a job. Aiden becomes her new boss. He becomes wary of Charlotte. Charlotte seems to catch his attention in good and bad ways. The tension between these two and the plot of the story is brilliant. I loved reading this book. Aiden and Charlotte are amazing. This story had me in a chokehold I couldn’t stop reading it. It is a steamy/spicy romance as well.
This book was so many things........spicy, funny, romantic, captivating, very, very well written, and did I say spicy?!?!? I loved it. I hope there are spin offs about the other roommates, and a sequel about the 2 main characters! And maybe even a prequel! I can't wait to read more from Jenna Fiore!
This book was really cute, I saw one edit of it on insta and then I binged it in 2 days (that’s really good for me) I’m surprised this book isn’t more popular. I don’t think I’ve ever read a workplace romance, but I loved it. MMC is literally the sweetest, most caring person ever. Would be higher but the writing was really cringy sometimes ( like slang words we use today)
Aiden and Charlotte’s meet cute is hilarious. I loved the starting. If you want to read a feel-good, workplace romance with spice and banter where they are stuck with each other for the night at their workplace, sharing their roof over their heads and eventually falling down the rabbit hole of love while laughing, then this book is for you.
This is a nice easy read of a rich girl having to live a normal life Funny and sweet but actually I was more interested in reading about the roommates who quite suddenly left half way through.

Charlotte is a down on her luck woman who went from pampered rich girl to living in her car. She meets Aiden when interviewing for a job and there is an instant connection. The novel was a fun romance with a few serious notes in it.
