periodtttttt the only reason why i probably put 5/5 stars is bc the ex’s/step-siblings got back togetherrr
i literally skimmed the last volume because it wasn’t relevant to the main couple’s development but i did probably miss a few details that was brought up in this novel
i understand that they’re just 16 and within this situation of being a family, they’re truly trying to see through hypotheticals/situations on what would happen if they were back together, so feelings aren’t enough to overcome this
but i’m glad that they made their feelings to each other clear and their intentions of what they would like to come out of this, whatever problem comes up, it’s something they can deal with/face on then
i wish them happiness and success in the future volumes that i’ll be reading 🩷

It feels strange rating this book 5 stars after the last 2 books barely received a 3 star rating from me. I was hoping that this book would be a vast improvement over the last two volumes and it was. No longer is the story focused on the irrelevant side characters, instead the story returns to the main characters and their journey to understand their feelings. When I mention irrelevant characters I'm referring to the bland student council members. While I understand the author was trying to introduce new characters the last two volumes were dreadful in my opinion. It's a nice change to see the focus come back around and watch the story unfold again.
