I'm the cause of a war between two brothers… two dragon princes.

The king is dead.

He was the one person who could’ve protected my fated mate, the true heir to the throne.

As a result, Thorn and I are being hunted as we scramble to find a way to survive this war.

Even with our allies, our numbers are small… not great enough to fight the prince who is desperate to claim the crown.

But my mate and I will forever be in danger unless we eliminate the threat.

And the safety of our people hinges on us taking the throne.

We must sacrifice everything just for the chance at a better future… even if it means sacrificing ourselves.

Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies, even as a little girl. When I was a toddler, my parents would read stories to me over and over. I would hear them so often that I had the books memorized and could recite the story word by word.

My favorite genres are fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary romance. So of course that's what I'm inclined to write.

I have a husband, two young daughters, and a mini Australian Shepherd. I've lived in Tennessee the majority of my life and love the state.

I'm extremely addicted to caffeine and enjoy drinking coffee and lattes.

King Arman is dead. With his dying breath, he bade Thorn to stop Drake and rule in his stead.

For too long Thorn had hidden, had been feared for the magic within him. The same magic his grandfather had had and used for evil purposes, to murder and control the people. A caring person wanting only to heal those who were sick or injured, he was unsure at times that using his magic might make people around him fear him. He hadn’t realized that he was missing a part of himself, until Everly appeared. Recognizing this human as his fated mate. Through their connection she could reach out to him, bring a sense of calm, help him see different perspectives and find the best solutions. She helped him see himself as a healer, his magic as a gift and not a curse. To see the good that he could do for his people, and how different he was from the grandfather that had used his magic as a means of destruction. Now they must find others to listen, to trust and help stop Drake from destroying the world of dragons…

Now there was no one to stop Drake’s reign of terror as he would proclaim himself the next dragon king. Mad with power and hatred for his brother, desire for the human that was Thorn’s fated mate and wife, he was assured the crown upon his head, his people’s obedience in all things and the woman at his side.
Drake’s climb to power was littered with the dead he deemed unfit to live, coercion and the fear he struck in the hearts of those he would rule. He would find Thorn and Everly. Kill Thorn and take Everly to his wife. Those that would disagree or fight against him would die, along with the cripple, infirm or elderly dragons. What he hadn’t counted on was that Thorn had been changed by Everly’s love becoming anchored in his belief in himself and what was right. He had become stronger.

Together Thorn, Everly, Elliott, Eva, Saphira, Vlad and Cassidy along with others must now work to gather people they could trust and would trust them in turn to stop Drake and those who follow him. The battle that soon to be wrought, would be a bloody one, brother against brother, warriors, many who were forced to serve, against the untrained and the vulnerable. While for many the stories of Thorn’s grandfather’s evil use of his magic was a cautionary tale and a warning that Thorn could follow in his footsteps. It would take demonstrations of Thorn’s power to heal and his words of a world where all were free and could live in peace that might turn the tide. First, they must show people that Thorn is not someone to be feared for his magic but a man who cares for others, who would use his magic to heal, wherever possible, not to kill, and one who seeks peace for all.

The love stories abound in this tale with several finding fated mates, spicy love scenes, and the love siblings have for each other. Before there can be peace and freedom, there will be war and death. Who will end up with the crown will determine the kind of world in which dragons would live. There is suspense, tension, action and even some humor in this final tale. It’s a journey that favors poor odds for victory over the battle of genocide of those who may be sick or weak. And have the reader turning pages quickly to see the outcome. It is also one of strength and conviction that you must fight for a better world for all, no matter the odds. A few will start, gather strength and numbers and not stop until Drake may be defeated.

The conclusion of the trilogy that started with “Ruthless Mate” continued in ”Mated Dragon” this tale of dragons with Jen L. Grey’s spin on dragon magic is one I found fascinating and sad at times. Parents who feared what they did not understand and blaming the child. Thankfully, Thorn found love in his adopted parents and a young human woman, that will help him to become the man he was meant to be. Secondary characters, each with their own personalities, help bring the story to life and create the world of dragons that live on the pages in the books. For myself, I love adventure, suspense, uniquely created worlds, characters, including the truly evil, that can bring a story to life and of course romance. I enjoyed the spicy romantic scenes and dialogue in the tale but at times it took over the tale. This isn’t always a misstep, but I thought the romance wouldn’t have suffered with a bit less and bit more storyline about Drake’s thoughts and motives, background about the dragon magic or the evil grandfather, etc. Jen L. Grey is a grand storyteller, I guess I just wanted a bit more of her imaginary tale.

Jen Grey's The Marked Dragon Prince trilogy wraps up with Hidden Fate. True to the series this book was full of action, excitement, and magic. What a great conclusion to Everly's and Thorn's story.

As Saphira would say, Thorn and Everly were disgustingly sweet in this one. Their love has only gotten stronger. The support and care for one another is touching, helping them grow. Everly adjusted very quickly to becoming a dragon and now she's gaining confidence and finding her place with them. She's making plans, training harder, and is Thorn's guiding light.

Thorn faced a lot of emotional struggle in this book. He had the trauma from his parents' abandonment, he was angry but now that his father, King Armen, is dead after trying to fix his mistakes, Thorn is having trouble processing, add in his mother, and dealing with all the Drake stuff and steady having to watch his back, yeah it's a lot. However, he had a strong mate in Everly that stood by and helped him when she could and Thorn was able to let go of his past.

There were a few surprise developments, one of which makes me think that fate most definitely is at play. There's a theory about dragons and fated mates that I absolutely believe. Jen finally explained more about Thorn's dragon mark, diving into its history. A lot of things make sense now, not only to me but to Thorn as well.

You know, I forgot that Everly wanted to be a doctor. With her sympathetic and caring heart, I really shouldn't be surprised. Heck, it's even rubbed off on Thorn, he's less surly now and is seeing things in a new light. He obviously cares about his people and would be a far better choice for king than Drake and the crazy cast of characters, both old and new, attest to that. There really was a fabulous new group of people, some include two elderly couples who are young at heart, and a total trip. Tia, Belinda, Ryu, and Merlin, were very entertaining. Tia gave Elliot a run for his money. El manages to be even more annoying this time around but he's a good guy so I can't hold it against him, especially when he's found his spirit animal in Tyson.

There were plenty of twists and turns plus a bunch of new people were introduced making Hidden Fate an excellent read. With the rebellion underway, battles everywhere, and new allies, things were moving pretty fast. Drake and Peter get what's coming to them, while Everly and Thorn finally get their well-deserved happy ending. I don't know what Jen's next project is but I'm curious to know if it's set in the same world as this one.

Finale was great, would have preferred Drake died though.

Thorn after discovering he can cure two dragons keeps traveling and healing those he can. They have to bury the king & flee to another thunder for safety after fighting Drake's warriors. They help a human woman who can't give birth to her baby. It takes both Thorn & Everly to save these two. They go on several missions & make a very important ally on the inside. They discover a group of warriors that are no longer loyal to Drake & rescue them before Drake has them eliminated. The group realizes they need to do something to get rid of Peter. They put together a plan that goes well except they forgot to account for one thing. They put a thunder in danger. Once as many of them that could gather meet at another safe house. Through Thorn & Everly healing people they realize dragons are choosing humans to mate with. If they aren't turned then they can't give birth properly. That was the reason for all the dragons having disabilities. And Drake had been killing them for not being perfect. He also thought if he took a human breeder that it would solve everything. I wouldn't have cared if they killed Peter either. He's a worthless person who makes everyone around him miserable. I was kind of sad to hear that the twins split up & went separate places to live from Everly too.

I loved the conclusion to this trilogy and really loved the beautiful relationship between Everly and Thorn.

This book picked up exactly where book 2 finished and there’s action straight away.

Everly, Thorn and their group are on the run from Drake and his warriors and trying to find allies they can trust. They’re also trying to find a way to show the Dragon community that Drake is the evil brother not Thorn.

I really enjoyed the friendships and fated mates in this book. I loved the focus on everyone being worthwhile regardless of their age, injuries or abilities and the compassion and empathy from our “good guys”, especially from Everly.

This was a fantastic trilogy and although I loved book 1 and 2 I think book 3 was even better.

I raced through this book and enjoyed every moment but at the same time I didn’t want it to end.

This was an amazing story and I highly recommend it.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 😫

Everly and Thorn are back in book three; and boy does the action happen! They prepare to battle Drake (Thorn’s younger brother) who has been on a mean streak a mile wide. They must combat so many obstacles to fight for their lives as well as many more. Even with so much stacked against them, they’re also battling Thorn’s mark which has always been seen in a negative light due to past occurrences. It’s action packed and things finally come to a head with help from some very unlikely places! And did I mention, they get their HEA! 😍

The author leaves me wanting more RIGHT NOW, every time. Absolutely obsessed with her books and I am officially dying for whatever she has planned next!

I was given an ARC, but this is my 100% honest feelings and reviews of the book. Please go get your copy now and let the magical story pull in your heart strings all while getting your adrenaline pumping; you’ll thank me later! 😉

I loved all of the additional characters and the interactions of the group all together. There were some side character's names that were brought in (dragon warriors) that really weren't fundamental to the story but had to keep track of so keep things straight. The older dragons are the stars in my opinion and I loved seeing everyone getting paired up with a bit of included drama in the relationships. The book had a nice progression for the first half where things weren't happening all within 2 days but the end of the book felt a little rushed where there weren't as many details as previously. It didn't detract from the story overall but there definitely could have been a little bit more integrated in. Overall another good book from Jen.

What a satisfying ending to this trilogy! I’m pleased with how this trilogy ended, with Drake getting exactly what he deserves. There were quite a few characters in this book though, and after awhile, all of the names started to blur together. I also wasn’t a terribly huge fan of the way Everly and Thorn say they own each other, but I suppose that comes with the fated mates trope. I did the world building and how much thought was put into the politics of the different thunders. While it wasn’t the most spectacular book I’ve ever read, it was entertaining, and that’s all that really matters in the end.

Thorn, Everly, Elliott, Eva, Saphira, and the rest are back, and after the death of the King, they have to go on the run. With little options they are forced to go to another thunder but with the knowledge that Thorn will try and heal her daughter. From that point on this book take you on emotional, action packed, heartbreaking, intense read that will keep you on your toes. Without giving to much away I will say this, With the final looming will the find the allies they need? Will Thorn realize what he was meant to do? Who will live when the battle is over? Read and find out causeyou won't be disappointed. Amazing and I can't wait for more.

Enjoyable Trilogy

You'll definitely enjoy the series of books within this trilogy if you enjoy dragons, magic, and romance all rolled into 1. Stories progress nicely within each book to build on the relationships between characters. I would rate these books within this trilogy for adults only to read due to the graphic content between the adult relationships graphically written for the main characters. That type of content repeats throughout the stories and throughout each of the 3 books. Other than that the story is a great read and will definitely be enjoyed by the reader.

Thorn and Everly's story comes to an end! After witnessing Drake kill the king to clear his path to the throne, it will take everything Everly and Thorn to stop him. They'll have to regroup and gain some allies. And it's time once and for all for them to decide what their future will look like. Thorn has never wanted the crown. He wanted nothing to do with those who abandoned him and sought to hurt him for a gift he never wanted. But the more he sees of the terrible acts Drake has committed, he finally begins to see what Everly has seen all along. That things need to change. And they have to be the ones to help those who need it and make the changes. Lots of action and romance in this final story. And lots of happily ever afters for characters we have come to love. Just another great series by Jen! And one you won't want to miss!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It's the end of Thorn and Everly's adventures and it's about time that they accept their fates imo. This book's pacing is better than most of the third in a set pacing. I felt there was enough downtime that, though I couldn't put the book down, it allowed me to process what was going on for a second before we ramped up again. It's been a while since I read a book with proper pacing. I'm glad. Hopefully we get some more of this format in other sets. Thorn and Everly were great and I can't wait to see if there is more of this world they have fought so hard for.

The way that Jen takes us to these far away places and gives us so much to look forward to within her stories is priceless. This story about Everly and Thorn has so much more than just a "love story" to it, because it's about family, doing the right thing, and being good people. Being kind. It celebrates the differences in people, but also shows how to right wrongs and change thought processes. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I absolutely loved it, much like I do everything she writes!! Get out there and read this, today!

Hard to finish

I tried to see if this series became better but I could not get into it. I have read other series by this author and absolutely LOVED them. I am not sure what happened with this series. It felt as if there was a naive way of writing. There was not very much character or story building. I forced myself to finish in hopes of the story becoming more developed, but I was disappointed. I would not spend the time to read this series. I still cannot put my finger on it but hopefully this was one the authors 1st series to write.

A great conclusion to this series. VERY action pact! Way more than the other books! But still spicy!

Everly, Thorn, and their group of rebels are still on the run from Drake, but are racking up more allies every day. They plan to overthrow Drake and restore peace and civility to their kingdom. Their fated mate connection heats up more every day, barely able to keep their hands off each other. But they aren’t the only ones 😉

Great wrap up of this series of fast-paced, passionate story of 2 people wanting to do what’s best for their people but never if it means losing each other.

Hidden Fate is the final book in the Marked Dragon Prince Trilogy. It is necessary to read in order since one book begins where the previous ends.

In the final book, we get the answers to questions we have had since the first book and those answers come with surprises. Read to find out how Everly and Thorn, with the help of friends, fight the evil prince. Expect action, villains (duh the real evil prince), friendships, drama, justice and fated love.

Finally! Things are going well for the team at a time when they really need it. They are gathering more allies so they can go after Drake. Thorn is doing his best to heal those dragons that need it, but they still must dodge warriors constantly. They decide to enact a plan to attack prior to the coronation to try to take Drake down. Jen does a great job wrapping up the story line, I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Good Ending 😊

Everly and Thorns story is so complex and filled with so many different layers of emotions hardships and love that it made these books so refreshing. Jen L. Grey has a way of pulling u into her world, u also get to know and love so many characters in her books and their stories while also enjoying the main characters. Everly and Thorns ending was great, the battles, the hardships were all worth it for all the beautiful dragons and humans. Definitely recommend

8 Wows ~ I loved this book.it has a very Happy Ever after ending.

My one concern is the length of the book. I stopped reading it to go read another book and came back to it. This happened 3 times. I actually went and read a series. I think it was because it felt Lima one of those books where you pay to read a little bit then pay again to continue. It should maybe been 3books. I don’t know. It does have a mated pair that have the deepest love of any love story I’ve read.

4.5/5 overall
4/5 spice

Great ending to the story. However, I hate that the King died. I don't think it was necessary for the plot and I'm not a fan of non-plot building death. I think it would have been better to keep him alive and have him live with the guilt. It would've been nice to see his eternal struggle, and then, in the epilogue, he finally overcame it all and showed love to his grandchildren. Overall, I loved it!

Great Ending

This series was a wild ride and I enjoyed every minute of it. This book did not disappoint. It had all the momentum as the other two books and was not rushed. I wish I got a epilogue but that’s me just not wanting to let go of the characters. It tied up nicely and a small glimpse of what the future will be.

heck yes

This book was everything I wanted in a 3rd/last book of a trilogy. Thorn grows into who he is supposed to be! And Everly who is amazing in all ways is right there saying I told you so! They meet some amazing friends along the way and kick some ass along with heal some dragons! It’s a great story and I recommend you read this 3rd book!
