Ciara Callaghan is… a lot. Her walls are a mile high and her rules are strict. One night stands only. No feelings. Leave them before they can leave her . But then a figure skating workshop in Scotland brings her face to face with alpha curler Leith Dougall. Everything about Leith is a threat to her carefully crafted walls. So when familial obligations summon her to Seattle, she takes the opportunity to save herself from inevitable heartbreak. Leith has more to worry about than the beautiful alpha that left him in the dust. He and his fellow alpha, Enzo, are desperately trying to get a diagnosis for their omega, Artie before his rapid onset of blindness ends his figure skating career.
Two years pass and at the 2024 Winter Olympics in Scotland, Leith sees her again. The figure skater who first drew his attention because she skated with her eyes closed.
Heart On Ice is a MMMF Omegaverse ice sports romance featuring a reluctant female lead and a pack that is fighting for their future. This book features figure skating (specifically ice dancing), curling, sports announcing, and hockey.
I have been waiting for Ciara's story since i started the Seattle Omegas series and it did not disappoint.
Ciara is an Alpha, not the usual for a FMC in an omegaverse and i thoroughly enjoyed the change. Ciara has childhood trauma and hardships in her years which has made her reluctant to enter into relationships or form bonds with others, she has her walls up. Despite this, an Alpha that got away, Leith, who still pines for her, finds himself, his omega, Artie and fellow pack Alpha, Enzo, back in the life of Ciara. With that we have another Alpha, Wiz, who adds a new dynamic to the story. Wiz is by far my favourite, he is a ride or die for Ciara and just goes with the flow as long as he can have her, he made me laugh numerous times. We get a good understanding of each person in the developing pack and who they are and how they become that way as the story progresses.
Circumstances or fate finds Ciara unable to escape the pack and Wiz, where she lives and trains, they are there. Ciara's love story is not without hardships, this isn't one where they all fall into place, this takes works and slowly building trust in Ciara and removing her walls. Artie's impending full blindness and Ciaras trauma are central to this book and it has been done well.
I laughed and unexpectedly cried through this book. This series has really approached challenges and disabilities well. There is no miracle cures or healing, instead it is about adapting and accepting, learning to live with it. Anxiety, ptsd and hurt is not glossed over, therapy is used and used well and I truly appreciate how Calliope Stewart has done this.
I love an Omegaverse story and this didn’t disappoint.
I really enjoyed that Ciara was an alpha and not the usual stereotypical omega. The relationship between her and Wiz was beautiful, Wiz was such a great character and really added to the story, especially the way he approached joining a pack and the way he cared for Ciara 🩷
A great Omegaverse read that I read in one sitting and would re-read.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I good conclusion of Ciara’s story and gave depth to her previously behavior in the other books. You can really feel Ciara’s trauma and hurt in the book, but also the love from here pack.
Oh how I love this book! I honestly think it might be my favorite in the Seattle Omegas series.
It's so nice to finally see all sides of Ciara, she's such a wonderful, loving, and strong alpha. Calliope has created such a beautiful cast of characters that you can't help but love each and every one of them. There were moments where my heart broke for Leith, where I wanted to give Enzo a good shake, many moments where Wiz made me smile, and where I wished I could actually watch Ciara and Artie skate.
It has some delicious spice and hilarious moments. We get to see the whole cast of characters from Brynn and Aurelia's book, which is one of my favourite parts of interconnected standalones.
Amazng!!! The characters are wonderful and drawns us in to their lives. I was drawn in and not able to put it down till I was finished.
You will laugh, love, and cry.
Ciaras story is fabulous, I have loved the Seattle omega series. Ciara has been an egnima until now. Ciara has been seen in the first 2 books of this series. We get a more indeppth look into Ciara and the reason why she doesn't feel she can or should commit to a long term relationship.
I am excited to see what Ms. Stewart brings to us next!!
I completely loved the first two books in this series and I couldn't wait for Ciara's story. It was definitely not what I was expecting.
The men in this book are so great. I loved all four men but Leith and Wiz hold a special place in my heart. They are both so sweet and kind and honestly too forgiving. Enzo was a little harder to fall for but his protective and intense presence were perfect for his pack. And then Artie. Swooooon. I am such a sucker for a sweet, fierce male omega. Artie's blindness is a huge part of the story but not his entire personality and just handled so beautifully. Calliope Stewart has a way of portraying characters flaws and personalities and disabilities in a way that sucks me in completely.
Now Ciara. Woof. I really wanted to like her but it was hard. She is kind of mean and everyone just let's it happen and accepts it. Saying she's a good person so it's okay that she treats people like garbage and REFUSES to communicate. Everytime I thought she was maturing and learning how to be an adult and speak to people she cuts and runs again and then completely cuts off almost everyone. I can't imagine anyone acting like that as an adult. She's does pull it together eventually.
Overall, I loved all the cameos from characters from the first two books. I loved the progression of the pack. Calliope Stewart's writing is just so easy to read and hard to put down. I'm happy with the end of these three sisters stories, but I'm really hoping we get Penelope's story someday!
What’s on the tin is on the tin, and I’m all right with that!
“Heart on Ice” is an omegaverse sports novel featuring Ciara, an alpha FMC with a chip on her shoulder. After perusing a slightly unhealthy relationship with alpha Leith (MMC1), Ciara being blocked from her life is aiding her in moving on from him and moving in to her own hurt and trauma, not just from her abused history but from a father-figure’s own anger towards her. Four years later, and Ciara encounters the going-blind skater Artem “Artie”, a male omega, the asshole alpha and sports announcer Enzo, Leith in their pack, and free agent alpha Jae-Sun “Wiz”, a hockey player. When Ciara is forced to navigate these new relationships and opportunities, she does what she does best: run. But when two emotional bombs hit her, it’s time for Ciara to stand still.
POSITIVES
**CIARA*** A female alpha who isn’t burly and surly - yaaaaas! I truly enjoyed Ciara as a lady alpha.
I enjoyed Ciara so much! I think the people who read this and weren’t on her side may not have a deeper appreciation for Ciara and her relationship with her trauma. I truly did not feel like her decisions to run were “shake” worthy.
Admittedly, I didn’t like Ciara’s characterization in book one and skimmed her in book two. She gave “Romance Book Bestie” syndrome constantly, so having her in her own book was nice to actually see a personality.
Now, I don’t like Brynn’s personality. But negatives later.
**WIZ**
I love him. No notes. He consistently had Ciara’s back and brought the “comfort” into hurt/comfort.
**THEME OF FORGIVENESS**
I did enjoy that Ciara did not immediately forgive Finneas, her abusive father.
**ARTIE**
I enjoyed him as a male omega. He might be my favorite one yet as well. No spoiled, not bratty, and an active pursuant of Ciara without being pushy.
NEGATIVES
**THEME OF FORGIVENESS**
The book had a theme of forgiveness and how forgiveness should not be because someone feels sorry and they’d changed. It should be granted by the person wronged and only when they feel ready for that. And even then, forgiveness is not automatic, nor does it ever need to come into fruition.
Where this is a negative is two points: (1) Alexei and ((2) Enzo.
ALEXEI
Alexei is Ciara’s father, or father-in-heart. In the first book, we understand that Alexei unfairly lashed out at Ciara, causing Ciara to go away. In Book one and now in THIS book, we never see how Alexei and Ciara repaired their relationship. I think the author didn’t know *how* to write that repair, so we got the cliff notes version of it. Ciara’s book was the perfect time to enlighten us on her and Alexei, but we didn’t.
ENZO
Enzo himself is an entire negative. I’m glad Ciara and others called out his manhandling, but it pisses me off that he was so easily forgiven for the direct pain and harm he brought to everyone around him. I hated that Enzo does a kind thing and vomits his own story for Ciara and all is forgiven.
**LORE DUMPS**
Didn’t care for all the lore dumps on character’s backstories. No.
**SEX OVER LOVE***
It’s always the omega’s heat that jump starts everything—always. Didn’t care for Ciara’s biting Artie in public. It WAS irresponsible. I just sighed. Such is omegaverse. Rarely can an omegaverse book not have the first heat in a book be what puts the relationship together. Dang. No courtship. No emotional intimacy. Just lots go physical.
NEUTRAL STANCES
**THIRD ACT**
I don’t love the third act, but I’ll tolerate it.
I liked that Ciara ran. I very much think she needed to. And I’m an angsty person, so Ciara running to see her father, and Wiz backing her up, was all I needed. I personally just needed more. I wasn’t really feeling that Ciara was ready to open up to anyone outside of Wiz. Especially with what Enzo pulled, my hurt/comfort loving self wanted some more hurt to earn comfort. I was hopeful Ciara would be upset with Wiz for selling her out, and she’d need time away from everyone. FROM THERE, she’d visit Finneas. Finneas would tell her about things, things that give Ciara something to think about.
The guys would find a way to grovel and apologize. Ciara needs things to slow down. They do simple things. The death happens. The pack has a talk about things to get them onto the right track, and we FINALLY see some courtship happening!
Not to mention, the pregnancy thing was getting old. It was just added more as a connection to keep her with the men and they “Take responsibility”. I wanted Ciara to stop running on her own volition without needing a biological connection to the pack. I will never not be weirded out by the “touch the bump” stuff, I’m sorry.
I understand emotions were high, but I just don’t feel all that great with the third act conflict and it’s resolution.
OVERALL
A good book with a female alpha, so I’ll rec it. Not too terribly impressed but not overly vexed.

From the first heart wrenching chapter you just know that Ciara’s story is going to break your heart, and I think it’s safe to say, it surely succeeded with mine. But it also built me back up, made my heart smile, had me cheering (in silence since everybody in my house was sleeping 😉), made me fan myself a few times 🥵, and left me feeling like I had legit just stepped off of the longest, most chaotic, emotional roller coaster. So basically…I freakin LOVED everything about this, from beginning to end!!! All those little teases of Ciara’s story from the first 2 books could not have prepared me for everything I was about to learn when I dived in, but it was so worth it to see her walls fall as she allowed 4 amazing men into her life & her heart. Sometimes books that we have to wait on don’t live up to our expectations, but this one completely exceeded all of mine on more levels than I even could begin to anticipate. If you love Omegaverse & whychoose stories that include MM, then you should RUN to grab this book! And while you could get away with reading this as a stand-alone, IMO you won’t get the full emotional impact if you don’t read the other 2 books first ❤️An amazingly beautiful & emotional conclusion to this series that was well worth the wait 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ciara's story was one, I was excited to read about. I mean, we got bits and pieces before. And I didn't like all her decisions. Especially during Brynn's story. Still, I knew there was something behind it and that she is a complex character. Like all of her characters often are.
Tho, it is always something else, when the main female character isn't an omega. I don't like to read about alpha females a lot. Because there are a lot of stereotypes behind it. So, the presentation of alpha females are typically not to my liking. There are some exceptions, like here with Calliope Stewart's stories, because she is not one of the authors who use stereotypes. So, she is one of the few authors I read without questions.
But normally, I just prefer omegas and betas as main characters. Can be, because I can identify myself with them more, since I'm definitely no alpha personality. So, me reading books with alpha females as main characters are rare.
But Ciara was a different experience and I loved to read her story. Not to forget the guys. The connection she had with Wiz or the little hints from Ice Castle I saw mirrored in Artie's story.
Lastly, I can't believe, that the Seattle Omegas series is finished and that there will be no more stories about them. But as usual, the next stories are on the horizon, and I'm excited to read about the new characters too.
This book has become my favorite of this series. Ciara wasn't a character I thought I'd grow to love, but she definitely did become my favorite. She's very aware of her trauma and her problems. She's finally willing to give a relationship a try. When she comes face to face with an alpha from her past and his pack, she has to decide whether she's able to let more than 1 person in.
Wiz and Leith were very much interested in Ciara from the get-go and weren't afraid to let it be known. One from her past and when from her present but both holding a torch for her. Artie shares the same passion for their sport. I really liked that they had a male omega from the get-go. He was adorable. Enzo is against the idea of letting Ciara into their lives.
The last part of this story had me gasping and left tears in my eyes. Ciara had such a difficult time because of the trauma she went through as a child. To see some closure on that was heartwarming and sad. My heart hurt for her. 1 of her alphas actions literally made me gasp in shock. You'll know when you get to that part. I did like it when they finally all came together. The epilogue was incredible.
Now, will we be getting a story about Penelope? Cause I'm wondering what she's getting up to based on the little we got to see her.
Overall I enjoyed the story and I love Calliope Stewart's writing. I could empathise with Ciara at the start cos damm the girls been through it but after the major conflict, the story soured for me.
My main issue was how selfish Ciara was during the 3rd act shit show. Yeah I get you've got trauma but guess what, hurting those you "love" because of it, makes you just as bad as those who hurt you. You are responsible for managing yourself, trauma does not give you license to inflict pain of those who care about you. Yeah be angry at Enzo and the rest that's fine- but ghosting Leith and Artie, one of you had already done this to (caused its own trauma) and "regretted" doing so previously. Making them feel like they've done something wrong for THREE WEEKS. I would've understood it more if it had been a week. But 3 of radio silence- that's selfish.
Alexei being HYPOCRITICAL ARSE also needed to be addressed. Yes, Enzo f*cked up majorly, but a father figure whose raised a child saying that shit to Ciara is a thousand times worse, so get tf off your high horse and sit down.
Anywho hopefully (the hinted) Penny's story will redeem it.

This story was everything i wanted and more. I’ve been ITCHING for Ciara’s story since we first met her in the first book of the series and i was not disappointed at all. I loved seeing her inner monologue and her history and seeing why she was the way she was. Ontop of Ciara, the other alphas, Wiz, Enzo, and Leith were SO amazing. Wiz is my dream man. I need him. He was so emotionally mature and stable. He had a bit of a beta vibe to him as he was the glue that kept the pack together and kept a level head. I loved the way he loved Ciara from the very beginning and was her rock from the start. Now Artie? my precious omega baby i love him. i loved how determined and strong he was, always loving his alphas and his adorable guide (and failed guide) dogs. truly, this story had everything, it had smut, it had angst, it had fluff, and it had tears. tears were shed. i just want more. i loved seeing the peeks at past couples from the first two books and it was just wonderful. 10/10 from me. cannot wait to see what is next for calliope even if we are closing a chapter to this series.
Wow, and I thought I was stubborn. I’ve got nothing on Ciara.
Ciara’s got all these rules to help prevent a romantic relationship. Really, she will literally run away from a guy who is romantically interested in her for more than sex. Literally. But Leith (and his pack) and Jae-Sun are separately out to get her heart.
Ciara’s push/pull got to be a bit much at times—I’d like to have a word with the dads, girl needed therapy STAT—but I loved her individual reactions with the pack members. It really felt like Ciara was the center as she created bonds and relationships with each member, rather than it being a giant poly group. I appreciated that not every member was sexually active with everyone else, it made each relationship feel more special and more real.
As always, it’s refreshing to read a female alpha and I loved the side characters in this one.
But mostly Jae-Sun. He was bae.
I’m hoping we get one more little book (Penelope please) but if not, Heart on Ice was a great end to the series.
I've never read a male omega and female alpha before and i was pleasantly surprised how much i loved it! I was worried i wasn't going to like it because I've only ever read female omegas and male alphas but wow. And i have to be honest i was nervous to start it for the simple fact it was over 400 pages and i haven't read book two yet lol but once i started i was 100% hooked and everything i had forgotten came back in a rush! This book was absolutely amazing and written so well! Yes, sometimes i did was to shake Ciara and Enzo but they had their reasonings and once you see their side of things then you understand more. Wiz, i absolutely loved him because it was just the silent strength to them all to be honest, the dynamic was also perfect i wasn't sure how that was going to work either but again i was proved wrong and it was all fleshed out. Leith and Artie they was the heart on the sleeve types but both had their strengths about them too. Honestly this book was so much more than i was expecting. I need to go back and read book two for definite!
I loved all the books in the series but this was my favorite. It brought on so many emotions. I laughed, blushed and I cried alot.
From seeing ciara in the other two books, I felt sad for her and I did so in her book. But I was happy to see that she got everything she deserve, from a good pack and to dealing with her past demons.
Loved the ending, its just what I like in a book and in a Omegaverse. I wont spoil it though.
Im struggling to figure out what to say, I feel a little emotional. Happy and sad, the book was really good, great story and really good writing. I like the way calliope writes, and how you see characters from the two first books and still get to see what they do in their life while the focus is still on ciara. I feel a little sad that I am finished, feel also sad about artie and his situasjon but at the same time he handles it so good and better than the rest of his pack. Show that even that cant tae him away from doing the things he love. I like the whole pack, they work so well together❤️
Ah… where do I even begin? This book is the best one yet!! So well written with believable characters, an excellent plot and all the emotional feels a reader could want. (I actually cried at one point). Ciara is that woman who doesn’t date and runs from all romantic attachments. I like the fact she is an Alpha; not too much is written from a female alpha point of view. I like Ciara’s character development even if her stubbornness was a bit TOO much at times. The men whomake up her pack are wonderful and so patient with her. The dynamic of this pack is a little different from other Omegaverse books I’ve read. I like it. And those guys are hot! Calliope can really write her steamy love scenes. Although the Seattle Omega books can be read as standalones, I would recommend reading the first two before reading this one. I’m sorry the series is ended and I would really like to know how Penelope is spending her time??
3.5⭐️ One of the better omegaverse with an alpha mc and mLs with differentiating personalities. The second half was much better , The last part of the book I was really emotional cuz I totally understood just how broken mc was . Actually the smut is comparatively lower abut than other omegaverse with nearly 400pgs but it worked perfectly fine as we got to know the characters betters . Wiz is definitely gonna be my fav , it was obvious right , if I had to but I loved the other 2 too but enzo I think he wasn’t ready to have her but she bulldozed into the pack unknowingly and they didn’t really have much conversation throughout until the end except for in the closet and maybe I wanted to see her take some of the burden of leading the pack from his shoulder but we never got to that part and I jut knew that he was gonna say what he said after the accident but ok he is a brash person , but I was angry that he didn’t let her hold her omega’s hand like that was downright worse

Calliope Stewart has done it once again. This incredible book had me laughing out loud and crying quietly into my pillow so I didn't wake up my boyfriend as I read at 3 am because I just couldn't put it down. This is an incredible story about love and second chances, not just for romantic interests but also for yourself. The main character Ciara is a strong female alpha who has been through a LOT. You get to watch her grow and learn to forgive and develop relationships with other incredible people who become pack. It was new and wonderful to see the character Wiz; his relationship with the omega of the pack is as best friends, and the support he gives to Ciara is what everyone hopes for and aspires to be for those they love. 5/5 stars 3.5/5 spice (I've read a LOT of spice so this was paler for me)
I love all of calliope’s books, they always keep me entertained and this book did not disappoint. This one did take me a minute to get into but once I did I really enjoyed it. Some of the reluctance and running away by the female did get tiresome but I did like that it was not immediate love for everyone. I enjoyed that there was a female alpha and a male omega. I hope we get more of this world. I would have liked to have seen more of the group as a pack but the building of their pack was entertaining. It had good spice but would have enjoyed more group scenes, longer heat scene, and more mm. This was a very good series and all the stories came together well.
In this book we finally get the elusive Ciara’s story. We find out why she is the way she is and we get to see her love story with the pack and all the guys. I liked this one, though I did have a tough time with Ciara herself. I think her stubbornness and hardheaded behavior really grated on me. It made it difficult to read because I just wanted to shake her sometimes, and I just really want to be on the FMCs side when I’m reading a book. Overall though I loved the guys, and it was so fun to see the characters from the first two books (which I absolutely love) intertwined through the story. This wasn’t my favorite installment of the series, but give it a try, and know going in that Ciara is going to make you want to through your book (or e-reader)! 4⭐️ 2🌶
Looking for a MMMFM omegaverse romance with olympic athletes? This is your book. Actually, The Seattle Omegas is your series. This entire series follows a close knit group of sisters/cousins, their olympic dreams, and finding their perfect pack mates.
Heart on Ice follows Ciara, a female alpha-something we don’t get often in the omegaverse. She also has a tragic backstory that has a direct correlation to how she approaches relationships. It just takes a tiny crack to let another Alpha in. And once the crack forms it’s ripped right open to let in a whole pack. Ciara comes off as a cold and standoffish during the first two books in this series. In this installment we get a better understanding of her childhood and how she came to live with the uncles and their pack.
“Heart on Ice” is the conclusion to the Seattle Omegas trilogy. It tells Ciara’s story and gives readers further insight into how she’s been feeling since Brynn’s accident in book one.
Ciara has been an enigma to me throughout this series, and I was so excited to finally have her book! She surprised me with how headstrong she was, and I like that her pack grounded her and encouraged her to grow in a healthy way.
At the beginning of the story, Ciara is snarky and brash, choosing to run rather than face her problems head on. She’s impulsive and knows when she’s making a bad decision, even when it’s at the expense of someone else. Truthfully, I didn’t connect with her much in the beginning because of those attributes. However, Stewart really won me over and by the end of the book I appreciated and empathized Ciara so much! Ciara goes through incredible development and is not a FMC to underestimate.
One of the things I love about Stewart’s FMC’s is that they love hard. Ciara is no exception. Her pack is the center of her world, and I love that her family wasn’t an after thought, but often an extension of her pack. This means we see a ton of Brynn and Aurelia in this book, so get excited for all of the cameos!
Overall, my second favorite book of Stewart’s. A must read for fans of sports, omegaverse, or romance in general.
Heart On Ice is the third book of The Seattle Omegas series of interconnected standalones. I have been waiting for Ciara’s story and learning why she is the was she is and it didn’t disappoint! Even though I loved Ciara and her growth throughout the story was beautiful, her stubbornness did get on my nerves some. I did appreciate the fact that she was an alpha and not your typical fmc being an omega. It made the story more interesting to me. I loved seeing more of the characters from the first two books and I am sad to be saying goodbye to them all. If you are looking for an angsty and emotional read with a unique take on omegaverse then I highly recommend Heart On Ice!
I loved this book Calliope did such a good job in keeping Ciara’s tough girl exterior and also showing us her sweet side first with Wiz and then with the pack! I’m a sucker for a female alpha and I LOVED our omega Artie he was the sweetest and never lets his disability get in his way of what he wants be it skating or the female alpha he can’t stop thinking about! All the male alphas from Enzo the Leith to Wiz have such great chemistry with Ciara and I loved the way the relationships all developed. This was such a perfect end the all the sisters stories and I’m hoping we get a story for “baby nashtos” 💕
I really liked this book. But as a curler, I need to point out two big mistakes. 1. The book mentions that figure skaters and curlers were sharing the same ice. This isn't possible. Curling ice is kept in a cooler and drier environment than skating ice. Also, curling ice is textured which reduces drag on the stone. If the ice was flat like skating ice, there were be too much friction on the stones and they wouldn't travel as far. 2. The book mentions that the curlers took off their skates after practice. Curlers don't wear skates. They wear curling shoes with include a teflon slider on their non-dominant foot. When they aren't delivering a stone, they put a rubber gripper over the slider.
I loved this trilogy so much. Each one follows a different pack, but they're all connected through the FMCs being basically raised as sisters. I love how close the family is and how much they all show up in other books. Even though this one is my overall favorite in the series it is still one of my favorite omegaverses. Plus, here we have a female alpha, a male omega, and a bunch of representations. I just wanted a little bit more for Ciara since her story was kind of built up in the background of the other two books and even though this one was pure chaos I just wanted a little bit more for her.
There were so many emotions in this book. I laughed and cried. Ciara is complicated. She has a hard past that we get even more details about. I loved the pack. Artie is impossible not to love. Wiz was so dedicated to Ciara and I loved his balance in the pack. Leith had me swooning. Enzo and Ciara really were so much alike. They bumped heads, as fiery personalities will. He did put his foot in his mouth though and his grovel could have been better. Ultimately, I loved this story. It filled so much in from the other stories. I have really enjoyed all of these books.
Reading this installment of the Seattle Omega series was an emotional roller coaster for me personally. I resonated so deeply with Ciara maybe it’s because I have a rockier relationship with my own dad or maybe it’s the feeling of not belonging she sometimes has but the feelings this book gave to me made this such a stellar read. The other two books are so well done but I didn’t instantly connect with the main characters story line but I did with Ciara and it made this book my top favorite of the series!

This is not your usual omegaverse with Ciara as the FMC being an alpha. Ciara also leaps into a physical relationship less than 30 pages in which is not what I like in books although that’s a personal preference. However, Stewart is always good at telling a story and weaving together the omegaverse details while also providing an actual story. There are also throwbacks to the other books in the series and it is fun to see pieces of the story from Ciara’s point of view. I definitely think if you want a book from a female alpha that this is for you.
