Solo Leveling or When the eternal Lord gets bored
هشدار: بخش اول ریویوو اسپویل شدید دارد.
درباره مبارزات بین هیولاها و انسان ها، جهان های موازی، شکارچیان غولکش و نبرد در آسمان ها و زمین؛ آثار بسیاری نوشته و ساخته شده اند که درمیان آنها مجموعهی «سولو لولینگ» یا «تکرو» یکی از بهترین و _اگر با پایان آن کنار بیایید_ کامل ترین آن هاست. این مجموعه روایتگر نبردی عظیم، طولانی و دهشتناک میان موجوداتی اهریمنی با نیرویی فراطبیعی به نام «غول ها» و انسان های منتخب با قدرت های جادویی به نام «شکارچیان» است که به ظاهر بر روی تصاحب زمین شکل گرفته است.
پروتاگونیست این مجموعه _سونگ جین وو_ جوانی ضعیف، و شکارچی سطح پایین در رده «ای» شکارچیان جهانی در کره جنوبی است که تنها با اتکا به نیروی پشتکار و با انگیزه تامین مخارج بیماری مادرش، سعی در شرکت و پیروزی در نبرد علیه هیولاها را دارد. هیولاها در کشورهای مختلف از طریق پورتال هایی که میانبر جهان هاست، راهی برای ورود به زمین باز میکنند. اما شکارچی ها با ورود به این پورتال ها و کشتن هیولاها باید دروازه را مسدود و خطر را برطرف کنند. شکارچیان با پیروزی در هر نبرد میتوانند سنگ مانا(قدرت جادویی) پنهان شده در جسد هیولا را استخراج کرده و آن را در بازار آزاد بفروشند. ارزش هر سنگ بستگی به قدرت تخریب هیولا و درجه سختی مبارزه دارد. بنابراین شکارچیان رده بالاتر امکان استخراج سنگ مانای باارزش تر و کسب ثروت بیشتر را دارند. یک نکته مایوس کننده برای شکارچیان این است که هيچيک از آن ها نمیتوانند از رده قدرتی که به آنها برای اولین بار و به طور تصادفی اهدا شده بالاتر بروند. (البته در موارد خاصی استثنا هایی وجود دارد)
وقتی جینوو در قسمت دوم مانهوا، طی نبردی با یکی از حاکمان جادویی می میرد، داستان شکل پیچیده و جذابی به خود میگیرد زیرا او پس از دوباره زنده شدن (که اتفاق نادری دربین شکارچیان است) مرز معمول توانايي های شکارچیان را میشکند و تبدیل به موجودی خاص میشود. او میفهمد که بعنوان تنها بازیکن اجباری یک گیم واقعی انتخاب شده که یک قدرت برتر به نام سیستم آن را مدیریت می کند. داستان جین وو بعد از این ماجرا حول افزایش قدرت و جایگاه رو به رشد او در دنیای شکارچیان می گردد و در نهایت او را در موقعیتهایی قرار میدهد که هرگز انتظارش را ندارد.
به طور کلی داستان این مانهوا متمرکز بر خودشناسی و کشف حقایق جهان خود توسط جین وو است. او که از همان ابتدا با درک معنای وجودی شکارچیان و جنگ کنار نیامده، رفته رفته درگیر مسایل پیچیده تری درباره این نبرد میشود که ریشه در اختلاف قدرت میان دو گروه از موجودات فراطبیعی به نام «حاکمان» و «پادشاهان» دارد.
جین وو در این زمان هنوز خود را به عنوان شکارچی می شناسند ولی نسبت به بالارفتن مرموز توانایی هایش احساسی مرموز دارد؛ تا وقتی که یکی از هولناک ترین غول های مهاجم به او می گوید که درون وجود وی تاریکی بزرگی وجود دارد که حتی نمی توان فراتر از آن را دید. این حرفها او را نسبت به دوباره زنده شدن و توانایی هایش به شدت نگران میکند. جین وو رفته رفته می فهمد که قدرتش آن چیزی نیست که فکر می کرد و او واقعاً این توانایی را دارد که مردگان را از جهان مرگ باز گرداند و آنها را مجبور به اطاعت از خود کند. او میفهمد که این قدرت از پادشاه سایه به او ارث رسیده ، موجودی باستانی خداگونه که در کنار خلقت جهان خلق شده است.
جین وو متوجه می شود که علت شکلگیری دنیای شکارچی ها و سیاه چال ها، فقط و فقط یک تمایل خودخواهانه به سرگرم شدن از سوی قادر مطلق است. این شخصیت دو گروه مخلوقات را از نور و تاریکی با نام حاکمان و پادشاهان خلق کرد و به جان هم انداخت تا با تماشای مبارزات بی پایان آنها سرگرم شود. اما پس از شورش و اعلام استقلال حاکمان و قتل قادر مطلق، دامنه این نبردها گسترده تر شده و به سیاره زمین نیز کشید.
در ادامه، جین وو باید تصمیم بگیرد که در این نبرد بی معنی و بی پایان به کدام جبهه ملحق خواهد شد، او در نهایت طرفی را انتخاب میکند که نفع بشریت در آن است. او پس از شکست دادن تمام پادشاهان، از حاکمان میخواهد که به او اجازه نوشیدن از جام تناسخ را بدهند تا زمان به روزهای قبل از درگیری سیاره زمین در این جنگ برگردد. حاکمان این شرط را میپذیرند اما به شرطی که جین وو به دنیای دیگری برود که جنگ در آن ادامه دارد و تا پایان نبرد در آنجا بماند. این جنگ ها بیست و هفت سال طول می کشد در حالیکه در زمین تنها دوسال گذشته و در این مدت جین وو که یک شاگرد دبیرستانی بوده بعنوان یک فرد گمشده شناخته می شود. پس از پایان نبردها، جین وو به زمین بازمیگردد و درحالیکه میبیند هیچکس چیزی از نبرد با غولها و پورتال ها را به یاد ندارد، با آسودگی به زندگی قبلی خود ادامه می دهد. او که هنوز برخی از نیروهای سایه را همراه خود دارد، تصمیم میگیرد به نیروی پلیس ملحق شود تا به بشریت خدمت کند و از قدرت هایش در راه خیر استفاده کند. اما این قدرتها همچون یک آهنربا نیروهای شر را به سوی او جذب می کنند و توجه مهاجمان را به زمین معطوف می کند....

سولو لولینگ جزو اولین تجربه های من از مانگا/مانهوا خوانی است. من بعنوان یک رمان خوان قهار همیشه در مقابل خواندن کمیک بوک گارد داشتم و خواندن این قبیل کتاب ها را مخصوص بچه ها می دانستم. اما حالا میبینم که دنیای کمیک بوک، مانگا/مانهوا و انیمه چقدر می تواند دشوار، پیچیده، جذاب، حرفه ای و تخصصی باشد. اعتراف میکنم شخصا از خواندن این مانهوا بسیار لذت بردم و دنبال کردن تصاویر و غرق شدن در داستان آن را بسیار دوست داشتم. این یکی از هیجان انگیزترین و دلچسب ترین تجربه های خواندن من بود که حتی پایان ناامید کننده آن (به زعم من) نیز نتوانست چیزی از لذتش کم کند.
این مجموعه چیزی بسیار فراتر از یک داستان مبارزه بر سر قدرت است و هرچه که یک خواننده با هر نوع ذایقه ای به دنبال آن است در خود دارد. برای خواننده شخصیت محور، جین وو را دارد. برای خواننده داستان محور، پیچش ها و طرح های متنوع داستانی را دارد. اگر جهان سازی داستان برای شما اولویت است، می توانید مطمئن باشید که یکی از کاملترین جهان های بصری و خلاقانه را مشاهده خواهید کرد. جزییات دقیق، شخصیت پردازی کامل و پرداخت کم نقص داستانی، آرک منحصر بفرد، در کنار تصویرگری هنرمندانه می تواند هرکسی را مجذوب و میخکوب کند.
چیزی که من درمورد این داستان بیشتر از همه دوست داشتم (جدا از آرک)، این بود که بعنوان خواننده در طول داستان رشد شخصیت جین وو را به چشم دیدم، متوجه تغییرات جسمی، روحی و شخصیتی پیچیده او شدم و همراه با او رشد کردم. در این داستان من از اولین قدم ها با کاراکتر اصلی همراه شدم و علیرغم ماجرای خیالی آن، با او همذات پنداری کردم، در غم و شادی او شریک شده و همراهش دچار شک و تردید شدم. همچنین من از خود شخصیت جین وو خوشم آمد؛ او در داستان بعنوان جوانی با انگیزه ، پرشور، شجاع، دلسوز، باقدرت تصمیم گیری فوری و عالی، و از همه مهمتر باهوش ظاهر میشود؛ منهم که شیفته شخصیت های داستانی باهوش هستم بخصوص اگر ورزیده و عضلانی هم باشند.
اما چیزهای کوچکی هم در مجموعه بود که دوست نداشتم. از جمله عدم پرداخت کافی شخصیت های زن داستان، عدم معرفی زن ها بعنوان جنگجویان قدرتمند و ساخت جهانی مطلقا مردانه.
مورد دیگر عمودی بودن پنل وبتون هاست که برخلاف مانگا، خواندن و دنبال کردن صحنه ها را دشوار می کند زیرا خواننده باید برای دیدن تصاویر مرتب به پایین صفحه برود و به این صورت احتمال از دست دادن تصاویر وجود دارد.
آخرین و مهمترین چیزی که دوست نداشتم، پایان بندی مجموعه بود که بنظرم بسیار شتابزده و سرهمبندی شده آمد. من علت ازدواج جین وو را متوجه نشدم درحالیکه هیچوقت هیچ علاقه خاصی به دختری نشان نداد و یا تقریباً به همه یکجور علاقه نشان میداد، نفهمیدم کی بچه دار شد و چرا با اینهمه عجله باید شاهد بزرگ شدن و قدرتمند شدن پسر او میبودیم. متوجه علت گسست های زمانی نشدم و در آخر هم نفهمیدم سرنوشت جین وو چه شد. آیا این فقط یک دورخیز برای فصل بعدی این مانهوا بود یا واقعا پایان مجموعه به همین بدی است که دیدم؟

I freaking loved this volume. I need more interactions between Jinwoo and Haein Cha because I was kicking my feet a little bit with their interactions in this one.
Also the way Jinwoo can be a total badass in one frame and then be a total cinnamon roll in another is adorable and I'm obsessed. Roll on Volume 9!

i kid you not i felt like my heart was about to burst out of my chest
also jin-woo naming his guild after jin-ah's idea, the ah-jin guild is so sweet and i love it🥹they dodged a bullet there going with jin-woo's idea of solo playing guild bye💀
and i love that cha hae-in wants to join jin-woo's guild omg but he didnt take her😭 i sense future ship though and i 100% support it👀
lastly, some funny beru moments please he's hilarious i love him
the way he learned from jin-woo😭 oh i cant wait for the other shadows to start talking too

Another great Volume with people underestimating Sung and him being the coolest.

Double Dungeon Arc ch123-131
Beru being a bodyguard to Sung Jin’s sister and watching a period drama was wholesome and funny.
I loved the part where the leader of the KOREAN hunters association revealed to the Japanese dude that he KNEW that they had a ploy in the Jeju raid.
Seeing Sung Jin beat up the creepy smiling statue was satisfying
That battle sequence between what I assume heaven and hell or whatever 😂 .. was amazing.
Japan Crisis Arc ch132-139
The Ahjin logo is coool
Both excited and worried about Yoo Jinho joining
Damn the giants in Japan remind me of Attack on Titan.

I HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT THIS SCENE .. so .. Yoo Jinho got kidnapped and Sung Jinwoo deployed his shadows (that was awesome as usual) and then one of the shadow orcs found Yoo Jinhoo and orc was TREMBLING.. so the kidnapper was all proud thinking “this orc is terrified of me” … and I was like naaaah he’s terrified cuz you beat up his master’s friend and THEN the word “EXCHANGE” showed up. And I obviously got so excited.
Alrighty, ANOTHER funny scene with good old Beru.. Sung Jinwoo’s mother was thinking “I wonder how” Jinwoo’s doing … and Beru lurking in the shadows thinking “oh queen mother .. no one will be able to survive an accident that puts his majesty in grave danger”

Yoo Jinho got kidnapped and Sung Jinwoo deployed his shadows (that was awesome as usual) and then one of the shadow orcs found Yoo Jinhoo and orc was TREMBLING.. so the kidnapper was all proud thinking “this orc is terrified of me” … and I was like naaaah he’s terrified cuz you beat up his master’s friend and THEN the word “EXCHANGE” showed up. And I obviously got so excited.
Alrighty, ANOTHER funny scene with good old Beru.. Sung Jinwoo’s mother was thinking “I wonder how” Jinwoo’s doing … and Beru lurking in the shadows thinking “oh queen mother .. no one will be able to survive an accident that puts his majesty in grave danger”

I WAS CRASHING TF OUT SO HARD THIS ENTIRE VOLUME!!!! the interactions between jinwoo and haein had me going absolutely feral. i was going so crazy it was like i could not believe what i was reading was actually happening. THANK YOU AUTHOR FOR ALL THOSE CUTE INTERACTIONS 😭❤️
it's no secret here i am a jinwoo/haein shipper to my very core so to see what i've been wishing for since her first appearance made me so happy!! don't get me wrong, they are literal tiny af crumbs but STILL I WILL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET. 🥺

also, it would have been so cool to see haein and jinwoo in the same guild but that wouldn't make sense since jinwoo wouldn't be able to level up as much. plus he knows the gates he does are going to be the most dangerous so he doesn't want to put her at risk. hence the whole SOLO leveling thing 😂 so i get it, but a girl can dream....
side note: bruh my heart broke when haein saw that selfie posted by suhyun of her and jinwoo. wtf man 😭

An overpowered protagonist keeps engaging in one-sided fights, even phoning it in with minion proxies for some of them, but damned if I don't find myself excited to follow along. It ain't great, but it works.

UGH this is so good. i think what i love the most now is the lore involving the world. being able to see how japan and their hunters work in relation to south koera. and then you see some of America - it really makes the whole world feel involved instead of just highlighting one country / city. i also love jinwoo going SICKIO mode to protect his sister LIKE FUCK YEAH. HES STRONG AND HAS A GOOD HEART. MY MANNNNNN

Taas oli aivan liikaa tappelu/taistelukohtauksia. Oli tässä ihan hyvää kerrontaakin välillä, mutta liiaksi mennään noilla taisteluilla kun olisi kiinnostavampikin tapa kertoa tarinaa. Minulla ainakin mielenkiinto herpaantuu jos on vaan kauheasti sumuisia kuvia, joissa luultavasti tapellaan tai muuten otetaan yhteen, eikä ole edes tekstiä. Kuvat ovat kyllä houkuttelevia ja pääasiassa ihan hyvin kuvitettuja, mutta nuo taistelukohtaukset ovat suttuisia, joo ymmärrän, että sillä haetaan sitä sekavuutta ja vauhtia mutta kuitenkin.

This was so good. I love anything solo leveling. The novels were a fun breath of air between heavy books, and the comics make me smile with the beautiful art. Jinwoo is the king of being overpowered. The next volume is gonna be one of the big reveals. I’m so pumped.

Wowee just Wowee, the OP Sung and his bravado wow and just wow, this volume had so many great scenes and dialogues just great, so let's carry on and Keep on Reading.
I have always loved comics, and I have I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

I SHIP CHA HAEIN AND SUNG JINWOO❤️❤️❤️. Loved the beginning of the volume with them in the gym and the chairman being like “Turn off all the cameras!”. He’s a real one for that.
The action in this volume was so brutal. Jinahs school😭😭. And Jinwoo coming to save her😭😭. Him getting having permission to solo dungeons is so funny to me because they only granted it because they don’t want him leaving the country 😭😭😭. He is so powerful❤️😍. His first raid and everyone is all over him as they should be😝😝. I can’t wait to find out more about the lore on monarchs and the system. That portal looks so bad too😭

This was an amazing read, although I’m scared for how far off Jinwoo’s humanity seems to have gone. He’s still a good person, with good humor, but when he starts a fight, he has a hard time stopping. I see problems with that happening in the future. And that ending? I have a feeling about it, but it’s a huge hunch.

Esto no es bueno, mucho poder muy chulo y todo, pero algo malo hay detrás, que? no tengo ni la menor idea, igual es algo que esperaba ya que eso de "revivir" muertos y utilizarlos a antojo esta muy raro.
