National Best-selling author Adrianne Byrd has always preferred to live within the realms of her imagination where all the men are gorgeous and the women are worth whatever trouble they manage to get into. As an army brat, she traveled throughout Europe and learned to appreciate and value different cultures. Now she calls Georgia home.

Looking back, Adrianne believes her passion for writing began at the ripe old age of thirteen. It was also the age when she was introduced to romance novels by a most unlikely source: her fifteen-year old brother. The book was probably given to keep her out her brother’s hair, but it was a gift that changed her life.

In books, Adrianne found a way out of her awkward teenage years and into a world of fictional friends that would stay with her for a lifetime. It wasn’t long before her imagination took flight and she was writing her own love stories. Within a year, she completed her first book, which she vowed would never see the light of day.

Writing remained a hobby until 1994 when a co-worker approached her with an article on Romance Writers of America. Who knew there was an organization of women just like her? By 1996 she sold her first novel, Defenseless, to Kensington Publishing.

Her first release received rave reviews by Romantic Times and fans. Her other novels were consistently selected as the Magazine’s Top Pick. In 2001 Slam Jam nominated, Say You Love Me, for best romance. Her 2003 release Comfort of a Man won Romantic Times Best Multicultural Romance, Romance in Color’s Readers Choice Awards for Favorite Book, Favorite Hero, and Favorite Heroine; Shades of Romance’s Best/Arabesque Romance Book; Slam Jams Emma Award for Favorite Traditional Romance; Romance in Color’s Reviewer’s Choice Award for Author of the Year, Book of the Year and Best BET/Arabesque Book. And lastly Comfort of a Man was a 2003 Georgia Romance Writers Maggie finalist for best Contemporary. In 2004 she released her first romantic suspense novel, If You Dare, with HarperCollins. In 2006 her novel Measure of a Man was nominated for Best Multicultural Romance while her Harper Torch novel Deadly Double was nominated for an Emma. In 2007 she won an eharlequin.com Joey Award.

In 2006 Adrianne along with fellow writer Niobia Bryant penned her first Urban Novel, DESPERATE HOODWIVES, writing as De'nesha Diamond. The book is set for release February 2008 from Simon and Schuster. For more information, visit http://www.deneshadiamond.com.

Ms. Byrd has been featured in many national publications, including Today’s Black Woman, Upscale, and Heart and Soul. She has also won local awards for screenwriting. For the future, she looks forward to continue creating characters that make people smile, laugh, and fall in love.

Definitely Felt The Fire

WOW...What a HOT & SPICY read. And a great follow-up to "The Beautiful Ones. Ms. Byrd knows how to write a sizzlin' page-turner, I could not put this book down until I was finished. Read it 1/2 a day, that's how GREAT it was. I thought the pages would just burst into flames the passion was so HOT between Toni and Jonas! All the love scenes were great, but I have one word for you ladies...MOTORCYCLE...when you get there you will definitely "Feel The Fire"! Once again, her characters are unforgettable and will have you not only reaching for the tissues, but LOL at the witty and hilarious dialogue throughout this story. The storyline flowed well and Ms. Byrd's writing style is totally entertaining. Absolutely enjoyed lil' Miss Alyssa's character, she was very sweet and charming and I can't wait to see what she's plotting and planning for Quentin. All I can say is be sure to pick up a copy of this novel...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Now I know I gave this book 3 stars but I liked it draws you In From the moment you start reading. Kad I was kind of wireded out with the 5 wives thing but it goes well with this story . Loved Varene, they are both from fueding sides but needed her help to heal his people who are sick but with all the issues they face they seem to connect with each other and the rest they say is history. Like I said not a bad read but it wasnt a great read for me also. The author incorporated a lot of elements in this story even though it had an aribian feel to it.

PS: it's a very long read so if your tolerance is low then it's not for you, I'm only saying that because you know some readers might say it took too long to connect or get into.

Unfortunately for this book it had two major things against it.  First, I must have gotten a bad kindle version because this version had so many grammatical errors I had a hard time reading it.  I found myself having to constantly stop to re-interpret the sentences on what they should have been, rather than what was in the book.  Second, having read Love Takes Time first I found it very annoying to have to re-read so much of the same material in this book.  I do not like when author's add the same material in more than one book, I do not pay twice to read the same book.

But other than that, if you just judge by Toni and Jonas' story, it is a very good book.  I even sympathized with Jonas on how he handled Solomon and Ophelia.  Otherwise this would have been a very enjoyable book.

I am a sucker for a love story and Adrienne Byrd does not disappoint with Jonas and Toni. Jonas still smarting a rejection of a previous lover and meets the beautiful Toni in the airport, they strike a conversation not expecting to see one another again. But low and behold they meet again when Toni brings a lawsuit aganist his company. This is where the sparks fly, if you are looking for a book about romance and what happens when two people fall in love and try to fight it, this is the book for you. You can feel the love and passion jumping off the page. Another great book by Adrienne.

After reading "Feel the Fire", I was so pleased that Toni and Jonas finally found trust and true love. Now Jonas doesn't have to try and mend a broken heart over Ophelia because Toni was able to help him overcome the serous pain that he once felt. On the other hand, Jonas taught her how to trust and experience true love and kindness in every sense. Awesome read and now I can't wait to read the final installment of the Unforgettable series.

Too many typos and other errors!

Having read book 1, I was interested in the continuing story. However, I must admit, because of the many errors, I continued to read only to get the ending. It takes too much time trying to figure out some of the words; and some of them I still have no clue. I am going to ask for a refund. I hate to do it, but I expect a more professional product.

Yes child. This was a GOODREAD. Now I did read this series out of order so it's going to seem a little out of context but I'm ready for Q's story. And please, please, please make it worth the wait. I'm grinning just thinking about his story. I love the Hinton men as well as the King's (later on in the continuation of the series).

Good storyline

Very good storyline. Funny and entertaining. However I was frustrated and annoyed at all of the typos in this book. It was an inexcusable amount of errors. This author doesn't usually have such poor quality in her writings. Hopefully her next story will be as good as the books I'm used to reading from her. The errors ruined the book for me.

This sent me on a sexual frenzie. I will most certainly read this book again and again. The chemistry between Toni and Jonas was just straight amazing. This goes to show you age is nothing more than a number and a state of mind.

I'm so glad Jonas finally got it right this time as in Ms. Toni Wright. It was good. I read it before and reading it again, it's still amazing
