Oh don’t mind me, I’m just planning my next baecation!!! We love a healthy áss, nasty áss marriage!!! 😈💦 Chyyyy Dedrick and Liv had the type of marriage some only dream of!! Lovers for the past 20 years, they’ve built a medical practice and family of 5 together and they are a whole vibe!!! Short, sweet, and spicy! I aspire to be this accessible to my husband lol. There’s a bite size glimpse of a story that’s just enough to make me wonder more about the couple. Like I could read a full novel about their backstory or family life. I’m not a huge fan of insta love or those types of stories so that element was perfect for me.

Now, I don’t normally like eroticas cause I just feel like it’s always complete strangers doing the absolute most and that’s weird to me. HOWEVER, this has to be the best one I’ve ever read. there’s just something about a second-chance, let’s-rekindle-our-flame romance that hits me every single time. maybe it’s the comfort in seeing two people who already love each other choose to fall in love again… maybe it’s the grown, real-life resonance… maybe it’s the fact that married folks be having the best chemistry once they finally slow down. either way? this trope is my jam.
dedrick and olivia were such a good example of that long-term, “we’ve been tired but we still choose each other” love. even with the wild work schedules, the teenagers, the preteen, the medical practice, the burnout — they still made space for each other. but baby… there’s nothing wrong with adding extra time. hence, the baecation to jamaica.
the shift from stressed parents to “oh right, we’re still fine and nasty” was smooth, believable, and fun. the chemistry was still right there waiting for them, all they needed was some sun, some freedom, and a hotel room with no interruptions. this was sexy, soft, grown, and a reminder that love doesn’t disappear — sometimes it just needs a little vacay to stretch its legs again.

Whew! This was a short but spicy story! Dedrick and Olivia are working professionals with kids and having a hard time being able to reconnect due to life demands. Dedrick thinks its time for a short vacation to really get some alone time and man did they get it in!
Honestly, for them to being so busy I already thought they were getting it in enough but nothing beats uninterrupted alone time without kids harassing you.
Also, for the story to be so short, we got a lot of plot in regards to the kid's personalities and other family members.

This one was 🥵🥵🥵🥵. This couple 20 years in and hadn’t lost anything. Both never stopped admiring each other nor did their thirst for each other stop. I loved that even with three children and both having thriving successful careers they still had time for each other.

Let me tell you this book was everything and as a Jamaican nothing better than to let loose on vacation with your spouse. It was a cute short story and I loved how Derek was street but very successful and his white Oliver as well while holding down a home. I love this.

well there was a lot of f*cking...like alot...haha. Not much that I can say bad about it, it was short, kind of hoped for a bit more story but I love a good romp in the sheets type book too. I was thrown off with the random, not random 3some near the end but...ok. If you want plot this ain't that but that is not necessarily bad...it was SMUTTY goodness through and through. decent palette cleanser.

This was such an amazing short story with a great plot and the right amount of smut! I don’t have any kids but I understand how busy life can get with kids and full-time jobs, especially as doctors. The novella was well-written and such a quick and easy read. Drick is most definitely my type of man!
