Two-star plot, five-star heat, and a four-star ending!
First let me address the plot type situation. It was literary brain freeze. I am not a fan of insta-love! Insta-lust...maybe, but I just can't do the love at first sight thing. It's like eating ice cream (hehehe...cream) way too fast...it gives you brain freeze. It needs to be savored, enjoyed, licked sensually and slowly from top to bottom, but that's just me. Some of you suck down your cream in one bite and absolutely love it. You go you!!
I also found myself skimming a lot the second half. I knew something was coming and was invested in wanting to know what it was, but I found myself skipping over parts trying to hurry up and get there. When I did get there, it was a little anticlimactic.
The music aspect was a definite plus though I wasn't a big fan of the music selection. That didn't make me like the story any less, but I would have liked it even more if I could have related to the music!
I want to be very clear when I say that this wasn't a bad book, it's just my personal tastes that kept me from really loving it. The heated scenes between Bo and Ember were magic. Magic as in they made my knickers completely disappear. Where are my knickers??? Hopefully in Bo's back pocket.
Despite my feelings about this book (good or bad), Andrea Randall guarantees I'll be reaching for the sequel with an ending like that! What. The. Hell. Okay sorry, but...WHAT THE HELL!!! I'm not a big believer of love at first sight kind of thing, BUT November "Ember" Harris and Bowan "Bo" Cavanaugh were made for each other! WOW, those two had sparks the minute they touched and the first time they sang together...you just knew something more than lust was happening. Goes to show how wonderful the writing was, to make all this believable.
November Blue is the kind of female character you LOVE to read about. She's funny, sarcastic, passionate and LOYAL! The way she is with her best friend Monica, makes you want to have a best friend like Ember. Ember grew up as an only child with hippie parents living the hippie lifestyle. As she got older she did everything she could NOT to have that same lifestyle. Ember rather have a more practical life where she's in control, even with her music she sticks to her "instrument" which is her voice. Her practical life is quickly shaken when she meets Bo.
Bo Cavanaugh is just so swoon worthy!! He's a musician, passionate, sensitive and all around do gooder. How can you not fall for a man like that?!? Add to that his love for his little sister and he's even more swoon worthy! With all that is Bo, unfortunately he has some secrets that may put the people around him in danger.
Adrian Turner, Ember's smokin' ex, was the guy she took a chance on, fell in love and he ended up breaking her heart. All of a sudden he's back in the picture in a surprising way. As much as I wanted to dislike Adrian, I just couldn't. You can see how much he cares for Ember, plus he's HOT!
The music helps tell the story and it's written in beautifully. The passion between Ember and Bo is a page turner and their love for music makes it even hotter. As their relationship starts to grow, Ember decides to throw caution to the wind and Bo's secret starts to unravel. She quickly realizes that they may love each other and even be soul mates, but don't really know anything about each other. As much as they love each other, will their relationship survive once secrets are revealed? Age old question, is love enough? Can't wait for book 2, Reckless Abandon! I think the title says it all :) Solid 4 stars and highly recommended!

I felt the author "forced" the relationship between Bo and Ember. I got their attraction. They had many things in common. It was kinda cheesy with the words they spoke to each other and the ending I didn't get. The "OMG" moment was not what I thought would destroy their relationship. It was a meh read. Not bad but I'm glad it was a free read. I will read the second book as long as it's free or $.99. *shrugs shoulder...to each his own*

I bought this book not really knowing much about it's premise, and whoa nelly - I didn't see that coming. I also didn't see the cleverness, humor and down right excellent writing awaiting me with each turn of the page. When I began, I liked how Randall drew me in very subtlety, then made me really think. Humm, that's always a reader's dream...at least for me.
November Blue is beautiful, smart and incredibly witty; making her immediately likable. Her inner banter was laugh out loud funny and I liked what a strong, independent woman she already was. Enter Bo Cavanagh. A hot, guitar playing musician singing on stage...and oh yeah, he's extremely good at it, too. When their eyes meet, it's like no one else is in the room and you become the proverbial fly on the wall, witnessing sincere fireworks as they blast off. Whew...is it hot in here?? Just wait, it gets even better. November's best friend, Monica was also a favorite and even though she went through her own heartache, she was ever the supportive friend, a rare commodity indeed.
I'm not going to go into the storyline of this book, most reviews already do that. I am, however, going to tell you how this book made me feel. First, it was a richly entertaining read. I enjoyed how Randall cleverly intertwined the storyline, yet making everything tie together; even things I forgot about. (That happens at the end, and is throw-your-Kindle-across-the-room, worthy!) Yep, another good indication I'm totally vested in characters; bliss for a reader!! Secondly, the mood of the book was realistic and well done. I will say, however, some of the dialogue and drama amoungst the characters was at times slightly cliche and overdone. Although, the intimacy scenes with Bo and Ember were perfection!! Randall mixed just the right concoction of steam and incinuation, and let me tell you, that's difficult to achieve. I'm still saying, "wow" to myself over that alone.
So, now you ask, "should I pick up this book?" My answer: "absolutely!!" The writing was well executed and the story's flow was appreciatively well paced. The characters were likable, interesting and terribly funny. Randall's debut is a hit on Amazon and now I know why; and thank goodness she's working on the sequel "Reckless Abandon" because I may develop the shakes with that incredible ending!! Nice, Ms. Randall, niiice!!

This is one of those books that leaves you with a smile on your face. I like that. It’s a story that made me just feel several things throughout.
November Blue is a free-loving spirit. She is intelligent, gorgeous, and has a whimsical sense about her personality. She isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, and I love that. Being raised by two hippie parents definitely has had a positive effect on her.
Bo Cavanaugh is everything a girl could ever want. He’s charming, passionate, and sensitive…not to mention…he’s a musician. *SWOON*
He’s amazing; his soul is deeper than any ocean. I’m fairly certain angel’s weep at the sound of his voice, and sing his songs to those who are in pain.
Heaven When We're Home
The passion that ignites between these two is incredible. Their chemistry speaks for itself. The underlying story that develops is one that needs no words. Throughout the story, the two and a few friends have to overcome a few obstacles. But their impending love and the music helps to guide them.
The characters that Ms. Randall created were all great. I loved how they all interacted with one another. I absolutely adored Rae and how her and Ember got along. I hope to see more of the two of them together in Reckless Abandon. But now, I have to wait and see what happens. *sigh* This truly was a great story. I am looking forward to the next book. It'll be interesting if true love wins out in the end. :)
That was the single-most mind, soul, and earth shattering experience of my life.

Different. Ten Days of Perfect? No, more like ten days of turmoil. Another bk where I didn’t exactly care for the h-November Blue/Ember but liked Bo-Spencer the H. For the sake of this review I’ll just call her Ember because she’s called by at least 3 different names during this story. Same goes with the H who also goes by 3 different names as you find out throughout the story. Like I said…different. Can’t say I really liked this bk all that much because our girl Ember is conflicted. She starts off very forward and makes the move on Bo, but after that is when the emotional turmoil begins. Bo “seems” pretty straight forward but you know from the very beginning something dramatic is up. Throw in the H/h’s respective hang ups, the h’s ex-lover, side character relationship struggles and quite a bit of up and down angst. Bo is instantly smitten with Ember and I was rooting for their relationship. Once ex-lover Adrian shows up I’m not very happy with Ember and I’m not ever sure exactly how she truly feels about Bo. Bo and Ember’s relationship is all over the place, but all do to Ember and her conflict with her mind/soul. Be warned this is a series and you’re left with a cliffhanger relationship ending. Will I read bk 2, maybe, simply to find out how Bo and Ember work out….or not. Hoping Ember takes a mental health day between now and then and gets her act together.

Okay- right when I finished this book I kinda freaked out, but now that I know there is a sequel I'm good... I was not okay with the ending lol. I really enjoyed Ember and Bo, the chemistry between them was great! It left me wanting more, I need to know what happens so book 2 can come out anytime :D

November 'Ember' Blue Harris, has a strong head on her shoulders, a great job, a pair of hippies for parents, and the support of her closest friends Monica and Josh. After an interesting event Ember witnesses she takes her troubles to her local pub and finds herself singing with the musical god Bo.
Spencer 'Bo' Cavanaugh is a wealthy heir to his parents fortune along with his sister Rachel 'Rae'. Bo also has a few hidden secrets up his sleeve to keep the mysterious draw to him, but will his secrets take away his forever??
With countless things in common these two characters create a story filled with lust, jealousy, love, drama, fight scenes, and HOT connections!!

Thank the gods that’s over…
Like any other girl, I enjoy a good romance, the key being “good.” I don’t mind sappy, I don’t mind the corny. I don’t even mind the over the top declarations of love (sometimes) … but when all that’s found in one book- repeatedly mind you- well, you all should have been present to hear my absolute cheer of delight at having finally turned that last page! This book with its host of characters, each a little too closely connected to their emotional sides HAD ME CRINGING and then HAD ME QUESTIONING what the hell was going on.
I’m all about emotion… unless things start feeling forced and contrived. So the girl is in love? So the girl is torn over choosing between this or that? I DIDN’T care because all her musings revealed there was not much there to begin with (Princeton, my ass.) She’d cry at the drop of hat… and so did the guy! Then there’s the more obvious things of us witnessing the same girl go from hot then cold then hot then scared then soul shattering in love (that same phrase may or may not have been used in this one) all in a span of TEN (PERFECT) DAYS!
Yet, for all those over the top moments in this one, I kept at it. Why though when early on I’d already felt that it was either going to be too sweet loaded to the limit with words of love or too angsty (unnecessary) drama? Honestly I don’t know… I wanted to see if there'd be any thing other than those over the top declarations/descriptions. I hoped in vain because it was bam bam bam, one after another here, folks! I may even be slightly impressed by how over the top and too romantic (read cheese galore) things got or not:
Except my personal favorites were moments that made absolutely no sense to me:
“If square had a taste, it was his jaw. If clouds had a touch, they were his lips. I mean, come on! I can’t be alone on my feelings on this one… !
“A lacy black corset tightened around my throat with a wide satin bow. My eyes tripled in size, as if they were trying to hear what he’d said.” Seriously, what do you mean?
And once again I wonder, why do I do this to myself? Forgive me, my brain.

I'm going to say if I can give more than 5 stars I would. I loved November, every single thing about her! I totally go for the love at first sight story, November "Ember" Harris and Bowan "Bo" Cavanaugh were so awesome together I gush, swoon, and have sweet dreams!! Besides the story filled with angst, there was quite a scandal and thrilling blackmail plot. I was so pleasantly surprised. You know when you read your type of book and whiz right through it. Sometimes I feel like it is a tell tale sign that the book is great, and then I think maybe it is insulting that they worked so hard I was too eager to finish. I was not eager, I swear it was great.
I adore when there are two best friends like November "Ember" and Monica. They are both kind, caring and honest. The way that they care about each other and tell each other every detail is just what I like. Ember grew up an only child inside a lifestyle of the 70's. The first time she had a real school and apartment was in high school. Her parents are up front and honest. Jeez they tell everything. Made me laugh. Even though Ember grew up in a very nontraditonal way, she turned out traditional.
Bo Cavanaugh is just so swoon worthy!! When he enters the bar and they meet you can gather how he is, but you would be wrong. That was the first twist!
Adrian Turner, Ember's ex, was involved after years of being out of the picture.
Believe me this is a ride you want to take. Nothing but great things to report in this one.
There is a bar, a musician, a secret, a long relationship and lots of friends! Swoon worthy men 5* I highly recommended it!

WOW! I can't believe I put off starting this series for so long. I'm definitely going immediately into the next installment without waiting. Lots of angst and secretiveness -- I likey, I likey!! Characters that are less than honest with one another and a budding romance that feels like forever . . . but with plenty of room for doubt. Make sense - not really but that's exactly how it feels.
Good strong storyline with some musical influence that really makes the story zing and a set of hippie parents that shed a little light on our heroine's disposition. All in all -- fun and fast-paced read.
And oh no! Here comes that cliffhanger. But never fear, there's a second book ready and waiting.

Ten Days of Perfect is Andrea Randall's debut write. What a great way to enter the literary world. This book turned out to be so much more than I thought. I knew this was going to be romantic but there are some twists and unexpected events that made this a solid read for me.
Ember Harris is the daughter of hippie musicians, independent, feisty, gorgeous, loving but guarded. She is not about to let her heart be broken until she meets the son of wealthy socialites, handsome, intense, musically talented Bo Cavanaugh. Did I mention how hot he is... he is one book guy who is definitely swoon worthy. He is not only physically attractive but he is articulate, thoughtful, values family and patient.
Andrea did a really good job of character development. You definitely got a sense of who these people were and you definitely got a great picture in your mind of what all the characters looked like (HOT). Her secondary characters were not fluff and you loved them as much as the main characters. You can picture a full story on them as well.
The writing was consistent and solid without it being to over the top. She knows just when to switch gears and make you go "huh didn't see that comin'. " It is witty, loving, endearing, and intense. I also really liked the characters names. It unassumingly helped set the tone for the story -- at least for me. I don't often like how some characters inner dialogue is used in a book. However in this instance it worked. Ember's "in her head" voice add a good dose of humour to Ten Days of Perfect.
What really did it for me with this book is the cliff hanger of all endings... enough said. Can't wait for the release of November Blue #2!!!

I also really liked the characters names. It unassumingly helped set the tone for the story -- at least for me. I don't often like how some characters inner dialogue is used in a book. However in this instance it worked. Ember's "in her head" voice add a good dose of humour to Ten Days of Perfect.
What really did it for me with this book is the cliff hanger of all endings... enough said. Can't wait for the release of November Blue #2!!!

I really enjoyed this heartfelt, musical and hot, hot, hot book! This story follows Ember as she meets and is instantly attracted to Bo Cavanaugh (oh man, he is hot!)...the story all takes place in a matter of 10 days, which is really cool concept that the author pulled off flawlessly.
I am a hopeless romantic---and I fell just as hard and just as quickly for Bo as Ember did. He is soulful, passionate and incredibly sexy. The sexual tension is so well written and Bo's sincerity oozes from the pages. He is oh-so-easy to fall in love with as a reader.
The secondary characters in this book are also very strong. They are not just "there" in the plot, they actually play a role and I really appreciated that about this book....many romances focus solely on the two main characters and abandon everyone else in their world except for when it's convenient to the plot.
I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series. A very well done debut novel!

Ember is a modern woman who doesn't need a man to make her life complete. How friggin' refreshing. She's bright as hell, talented, and supports herself. She is not "tied to the railroad tracks", nor is she wearing a chasity belt. Rock on.
Bo is a complicated, multi-faceted leading man. He doesn't fit into any mold-this was a breath of fresh air.
Adrian Turner made me smile a naughty grin. I don't know if the author intended me to root for him, but I SO did!
I love that this is no cookie cutter romance and it felt more like poetry...or a song than a book at times.

so....I just want to preface this by saying, I am ember. I make the wrong decisions for what I think are the right reasons and well....I love ember. I may love bo more though....or maybe Adrian LOL no matter what, this is a fabulous story about characters that are totally relatable in "real world" situations. it has the whole princess meets prince thing going on but it's totally not predictable or even all fairy tale. Andrea Randall has sucked me in. hook, line and sinker.

When I first started this book, I had a difficult time with it. It was nothing against the book or the writing, but I just couldn't get into the story or the characters. I later realized I was suffering from book hangover. You know what I mean. I started Ten Days of Perfect book immediately after finishing a book, and I couldn't wrap my head around the pages in front of me. This wasn't fair to the author or to the book, itself. So, I put Ten Days of Perfect down and didn't pick it up until the next day. I'm so glad I did, because I would have missed out on so much. Once I picked the book back up, I was able to see it clearly and for what it really is...a beautiful story of love coupled with danger.
First, I really liked the characters in this book. They grew on me until I felt I was no longer reading about characters, but I was encompassed in a relationship with old friends. I became the third friend to the twosome of November and Monica. These two characters had such a closeness about them, each one knew what the other was thinking without ever speaking a word. I loved their funny banter and the honesty shown in their relationship. They had a snarkyness about them, as evidenced by the sarcasm that came naturally from their words. I loved how they had a funny and quirky name for every situation and everyone they encountered. Now, I have to be honest and tell you there was this one thing about November that I had a hard time with. The crying. She was a little overly dramatic at times to my liking. I mean, she was this really strong heroine with a snarky attitude that could take on the world, but she cried...and cried some more. You have the hottest guy around! Duh! What's there to cry about? Spilled milk in my eyes. But, Monica manages to deliver some great advice to November Blue regarding her plight when it comes to loving Bo and the indecision and choices she is forced to make between her heart and mind:
"Feel it, think about it, do it."
Bo.....ah, Bo! I. Loved. Bo. He is the ultimate hero with beautiful poetic lyrics that come from his words. He is Mr. Hottie McGuitar, himself! This guy bleeds steamy! I'm fanning myself just writing about him. I loved his strength, his vulnerability, and his ability to make me swoon with just his words. He has so much weight of responsibility on his shoulders, but uses his artistry as an outlet. The scene with Bo and November at the piano...well, I just about had to take a break to get a grip on my heart. From Bo's lips flow some of the most beautiful and poetic words written on a page. At about 34% into the book, I knew he had secrets. I suspected what these secrets were from the prologue, but I wasn't quite sure. I had a feeling I knew who he really was, but I wasn't completely sure of that, either until the end. Yes, he has secrets alright, and danger is lurking all around him. His love for November, along with his need to protect her, may just prove to be his downfall and the unnecessary risk of his forever. He is definitely November's reckless abandon.
There is a third member to a potential love triangle in this story...Adrian. I didn't want to like Adrian...and I didn't like him, at first...but darn it, the guy grew on me. Arrrrrrrgh! I still really don't want to like him, but I kind of do. He is the guy that women just naturally flock to. I don't trust him, though. I think he is manipulative and clever in an underhanded way, willing to do what it takes to get what he wants. Ah, but just what is it he really wants? Possibly, November, but I'm not quite sure, yet. I think he has a few hidden secrets, too. Nothing in the book mentioned this or led me in this direction, but I just have a feeling about it. I hope that more will be revealed about Adrian in the next installment of this series.
Now, it's no secret that I love a book that is coupled with music, and this is just such a book. I love how lyrics tell a story, and when they're interwoven with another story, the result is pure awesomeness. Now, this book has absolutely nothing in common with S.C. Stephens's story, Thoughtless, aside from a basis of music, and that isn't even the same. Yet, I kept getting that same feel for Ten Days of Perfect as I did when I read Thoughtless. You know the feel I'm talking about. The stories are completely different. The characters aren't anything alike. So, why? Well, I just don't know. But, I love the feeling I got with Ten Days of Perfect. Andrea Randall has written some of the most lyrical and romantic lines in this book of any book I've read. Almost all of my highlights in this book came straight from Bo's thoughts and lips. Where does she come up with this stuff?! Side note: Andrea, if you know of any single male out there that really says words like this to a woman....call me! Ahem...back to my thoughts. I give this book 4 stars and will proudly say that I loved it! It starts off a little slow, but it quickly picks up steamy...err...steam. This story does leave the opening for the sequel, Reckless Abandon, due for release in March, 2013. I'm eager to see what becomes of Bo and November, and what part Adrian plays in their forever....if there is a forever for them.

Ten Days of Perfect is the first book in Andrea Randall's November Blue series. We meet November "Ember" Blue, a twenty-six year old grant writer. Ember was raised by two hippy parents who traveled all over the country, never staying in one place for too long. Though, Ember couldn't be any more different from her parents. She doesn't want that sort of transient life for her and has done everything in her power to grow roots. After graduating from Princeton, she and her friend, Monica, founded a non-profit agency whose aim is to help at-risk teens.
"Despite my mother's encouragement to always love with reckless abandon, I grew up slightly guarded and suspicious. To her, spontaneity was as easy as breathing. To me, it seemed like skydiving without checking to see if you had a backpack of a parachute."
In addition to her day job, Ember is a talented musician and often sings at her friend Josh's bar on open mic night. Ember has sworn off the opposite sex after a really bad break-up. Then, she meets Bo Cavanaugh and she quickly reassess her single status. This guy might be worth it. Bo and Ember meet at an open mic night. Sparkly fly when Ember and Monica go up on stage and sing "Heaven When We're Home" by The Wailin' Jennys (listen to it, it's good!). Taken by Bo's musical talent and stunning looks, Ember's world shook a little bit.
"The second our hands touched I felt it run up my arm, through my veins, and land square in my gut. A ribbon of instant desire tightened around my insides at the sight of his half smile just a few short inches from my face."
Ember is thrown for a loop when Bo makes an appearance in her professional life and both are left trying to juggle their personal and professional relationship. And just when they think they have it figured out someone in Ember's past comes back to shake things up.
I really loved Bo. He's sweet, thoughtful, and a talented musician. It's too bad Bo is a fictional character because I want him for myself. And then he says things like this and I melt into a puddle.
"November, if your heart was mine it would never break."
Bo and Ember's instant connection and instant attraction for each other didn't bother me. I loved the way Randall built the romantic connection and chemistry between Bo and Ember. Actually, I was shocked that it didn't bother me. What I didn't like was just how quickly they fell in love. Ember was declaring her love for Bo after just two days right after sex. Instant attraction (with a good foundation) I can handle, but instant love (even with fantastic chemistry) is not for me. I wanted more tension between the two characters.
Even though there was instalove and it didn't work for me, I still will give this book 3 stars for the writing. Andrea Randall is a great writer. I really like Bo and Ember as a couple. They compliment each other and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I always a sucker with a guy with guitar
....I'm a guitarist fetish..
that was my reason I put Ten Days Perfect to my TBR and read it after stare at my reader for almost 30 minutes. Skeptical. Love triangle, or four angle what-so-ever-angle there. Just NOT MY THING !
But am also a sucker for a good book, and I love challenge.
So, I read this book, while the second book has already in my waiting list.
I never believe in love at first sight, not a love at first touch believer too. I'm not a believer, after all.
I love a HEA story, instead of of a story that could make me mourning for long time...but some books was just made me mourn, and called them 'consumed' me....and also this one.
Andrea can make me 'almost' believe in love at first 'intercourse' (smug face), well, at least that was Ember felt after one bliss moment with Bo (Um, I'm not really a fan of 'BO', I prefer Spencer for him)...
Just like me, Ember was sucker for a guitarist, guy with guitar, is sexy ! Good thing is, Bo thought so, as well. So, he amazed me, and Ember with his performances....and Bo look so perfect with his guitar...
It was , actually a hard reading beside some sexy things, how Andrea can make kissing-oh-so-damn-sexy and the make out made me twirling my toes....ehem...whatever!
I hate it when Andrea make my gut wrenching in anticipation, mostly when Adrian showed up ! Darn !
Bo's secret...Ember's secret and how they managed all of those things...and how they cope with that, it was a life lessons, not everyone make a good decision in life.
Some decisions are sucks! but always RIGHT at the moment !
I can't wait to read Reckless Abandon, but my eyes gotten too tired today, let's read and cry again tomorrow....

Well this was an unexpected read! I got this book for free on my kindle from Amazon a while ago. I wanted to read this book because I meet Andrea Randall in the NY signing this passed weekend and loved her!! So I thought I would love her books too. I was RIGHT!!
The moment I started reading this book I got sucked in!

Ember (November) was completely heartbroken by her college boyfriend Adrian 5 years ago. Since then she moved to with her best friends Monica to Cade Cop and found jobs working together. Ember and Monica go out to the same bar every weekend for the past 4 years now. One night Bo steps on the stage and everything changes for Ember. Talk about falling for someone Fast and Hard !! Bo is everything Ember didn't realize she wanted in a man. Everything her parents taught her growing up was “cool” but everything she decided she didn't want at a young age.
Bo has this incredible voice, is incredible sexy and is incredible romantic!

There are few books which keep you hooked up from the chapter 1. There are few books which keep you hooked up till near end and there are few which hooks you up after first few chapters. And this book falls in third category. May be one reason for having low rating. This book was like a roller coaster... Some time it leaps high but sometimes falls low.. The major problem I had was with November Blue and she really kicks the rating to the bottom. She is like a chameleon who changes color through out the book. She is shown as a strong women sometimes and as a coward at other.
Last verdict : If you like to read lots of love drama or insta love book this is a perfect pick for you.

I first read Ten Days of Perfect in it's very raw, very unedited form and it was amazing then. After it went through editing with the most wonderful editor I've ever known and subsequently published, I was floored at the finished product. This is an absolutely beautiful book by an equally beautiful author who has a major knack for writing.
I wanted to not finish this book, because it was too good to end. Yes, I know there is a sequel and I couldn't be more excited to see where Ember and Bo and Adrian all go from here, but I wasn't ready to end the book the closer it came to the close.
Great job, Andrea! I couldn't be more happy for you, and I absolutely CANNOT wait for Reckless Abandon.

WOW! I'm speechless.....what I thought I was getting into was a musical romance, but it was more than I could have imagined! Andrea Randall's words were beautifully written and haunting. The love turned into angst and then suspense. I found myself searching back to the first pages of the novel to read again the powerful introduction that became clear all at once near the end. The twists and turns had my mind racing and my heart fell during the last pages when the story ended. I am dying to get my hands on the remainder of the story! Five brilliant stars that left me breathless, wanting, and waiting.....

Wow this book had my emotions in a twist. I was hooked pretty early on to the characters. Around 70% I had a sinking feeling and had to take a break. I could feel the forbidding future coming. It was like when you hear the music in the horror film. I didn't want to see the ending. I just wanted to cover my eyes and enjoy my happy bubble of a happy Ember and Bo. I wanted to kick Adrian's behind. In the end I'm quiet glad that he's in the book though. I am also extremely glad that my friend that recommend these books waited till the second one had been released. I'm not sure I will get much sleep but this book was worth the read over and over again!

I enjoyed this book. I guess I didn't realize this was going to be a series or have a sequel....so the ending kind of threw me. I wasn't expecting to be left hanging like that. I liked the "mystery" aspect that was introduced. I really felt the connection between Bo and Ember....there were countless times I got butterflies in my stomach just reading the scenes. And I also liked the musical aspect of the book. I'll definitely be reading the sequel.

WOW...speechless! I think i need time to process this one! It was an emotional roller coaster and I loved every "page" of it! The cliffhanger at the end doesn't do anything to help me heavy heart right now either! I can't believe I got this book for free off Amazon! So good...so so good! I need part 2 of this series so badly! March cannot come soon enough! Well done Andrea Randall! November and Bo's story took my breath away! <3

I really loved to see the chemistry and pull of both Bo and Ember. It was refreshing to see how honest they both were about their feelings from the beginning, unlike other books that take forever for the characters to tell each other how they feel.
I was kind of pissed at Ember at the end. I mean I can understand why Bo did what he did. I don't think it was a deal breaker but I guess if it wasn't then we wouldn't have a second book.

What is with the cliffhanger endings lately? This was a cute little book with some amazing chemistry, well built characters, and some absolutely epic quotes!
