Two men. One woman. Half-a-million dollars. One very indecent proposition...
Keegan and Erik gave Julianne half-a-million dollars, enough to pay off her mother's medical debt. In exchange, they wanted her, in every way possible. It was only supposed to be one night. But none of them are ready to end it.
What happens after Julianne takes the money...
Continues the story of Julianne, Erik and Keegan, started in A VERY NAUGHTY XMAS anthology.
Stephanie Julian is a USA Today and New York Time best-selling author of contemporary and paranormal romance. She writes stories with sultry heat and sweet heart.
She is the author of the best-selling Salon Games and Indecent series. INVITE ME IN (previously published as BY PRIVATE INVITATION) was an RT Magazine Top Pick. AN INDECENT PROPOSITION was named by BookBub as one of the 20 Best Erotic Books.
Stephanie is happily married to a Springsteen fanatic and the mother of two hairy sons.
Find out why reviewers call Stephanie's stories "fascinating," "truly fantastic," "intoxicating," "highly imaginative" and "hot enough to peel paint."
At the end of An Indecent Proposition there is a small write up about the author Stephanie Julian and it says what she loves most is writing heat with heart. I find that to be a perfect way to describe this series. It was most definitely heat and truly a lot of heart.
To be honest in the beginning I had some reservations. I mean it started right off with a bang. Literally. I was asking myself if I found this believable or even a good start. What happened next was purely unexpected. The writing and the flow just had me captivated with it all. Erik with his scares, both physical and mental, made me feel like I wanted to take care of him. Keegan with his devotion to his best friend was powerful. And the love and understanding that Jules gave to them both was just what they needed.
Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t some life changing, soul searching book of epic proportions. No. What it is, is a ménage à trois that’s a sexy fun read for the erotica lover. If you are a fan of Jaci Burton or Maya Banks this is one series you will want to read.
4STARS Pure book candy at its best! T~
*This is a series of short stories that I read as a compilation of books/installments 1-5 *Given via the author/Monster Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review
I enjoyed the first part of this story appearing in the A Very Naughty Xmas anthology, and I was glad to hear that there would be a continuation of this threesome.
Part II picks up two weeks after the night Jules, Keegan and Erik spent together. There's confusion relating to how the trio originally got together and the fact that the guys have not called Jules. They want her, but she doesn't know that. She wants them, but thinks it was just a one-time thing. When Keegan shows up at an event where Jules is working, things get even more confused between them.
I got to the last page of this novella much too soon, and it ends on quite a cliffie, so I'm eagerly awaiting Part III of this story. This story was a perfect size for a one-night read. I was intrigued also by what might be happening with Keegan and Erik's business and I hope we get more details about that in the future. Looking forward to seeing how this trio will resolve the confusion surrounding their relationship.
So, overall, a good follow-up to the story, and I'm eagerly awaiting Part III.
I read the first part of this story in A Very Naughty Xmas. I had never read anything by Stephanie Julian before, but I loved the Beauty & the Beast storyline. I am so glad she decided to continue on with Keegan, Erik & Jules, but I was left hanging and I need more!!!! I am rooting for the underdog (or so he sees himself) and knowing more about the man behind the scars, his friend and the woman they both want.
This book left me wanting more. It ended way to soon and I about screamed... NOOOOO!!!! This is the second book I have read by this author and I'll be reading a lot more of her work. She draws you in from the first page until the very last word. The characters actually have depth to them. You can feel what they're feeling. Jules is clearly confused about everything that deals with Keegan and Erik. And clearly, Erik and Keegan are a little confused too, even though they know what they want. They just don't know how to get past the mistakes they've made to fix things. Here's to hoping they can all three figure out and fix those mistakes. This is a short read but was worth it. It's hot juicy and really just leaves you wanting more of these three. Can't wait for the next one to come out! You need to read "A Very Naughty Xas... An Indecent Proposition Part 1" before reading this. Trust me both are worth it! You won't be sorry!
In the second installment of Indecent series we find Julianne, Erik and Keegan dealing with the after effects of their one night. Emotions are running higher this time. The sex is still just as good if not better. An introduction of secondary characters definitely helps stir the pot up even more. This quick page turner flows smoothly kept me riveted until the very end.
Just a heads up that this book does not work as a stand-alone. The Part I is necessary read or Part II will not make sense but since both are so juicy why deny yourself double the pleasure. An Indecent Proposition Part II ends with quite the interesting cliffhanger that will guarantee me hanging out waiting for Part III.
I received this book from JeepDiva in exchange for my honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
I think I liked Part One better. It was even hotter and this one. Part 2 is still good but it had a lot of inner thoughts monologue. Wished it focused more on the story. Onto book 3 next!
I like the way this story is progressing. Still super hot and steamy! I have to admit that the ending wasn't exactly what I thought was going to happen. Can't wait to start on the last part.
√I wasn't drawn in as quickly to this book as I was to the first in the series...but when I was engaged, I was hooked to the end. I love of the characters from the first book, which is a very good thing because Eric was the only one that I could really enjoy from beginning to end.
Jules really got on my nerves. Keegan showed up and she DEMANDS that he screw her against a wall at her current catering gig. He asks, "Are You Sure?". She says she's sure...When they're interrupted out of fear of getting caught, she DEMANDS that he continue. After he gets her off, she runs off crying because she thinks he just used her for sex...and he's such an asshole for doing that...and she's so stupid for letting him...(queue violin music)
Seriously, I wanted to smack the woman. Playing the victim because he did what she wanted is just plain moronic. Now, Keegan(grrrr)...Allowing yourself to be cast as the villain while Jules throws a tantrum about her percieved victimization just makes you as moronic as she is!
Thank God for Eric. He's the only one who calls them both out on their bullshit, gives it to her straight, and then proceeds to tie her up and properly screw her into a better frame of mind. He doesn't apologize and she doesn't accuse.
Cliffhanger....
Book 3 Next...
Thanks to the great character development from book 1, I'm sure I'll love Jules and Keegan in the upcoming books.
