Warning: The plot thickens with a passel of pissed off Olympians. Ares and Aphrodite are in for a double dose of trouble! More Olympians join the mix in Finding Hope: Pool of Souls Book 2. A jewel addict, a kick-ass possibly-virgin huntress, and an insatiable ancient oracle are just a few. But don’t worry; Ares and Aphrodite are still front and center.
Addison Connelly has given up on men. She is disappointed yet again when her best friend tries to play matchmaker, and the match falls flat…or does it? Her friend knows all Addison needs is a chance, a little hope, and maybe a dropkick in the right direction. With an extra push from Aphrodite, will this lonely soul learn to trust again? Or will she run from the only man who could make her happy?

Adrian isn’t the only one trying to earn the trust of a beautiful woman. While Ares fights to rebuild the trust he lost thousands of years ago with the Goddess of Love, his parents do what they do best —show off their greed and selfishness. Will he find the hope and forgiveness he so desperate seeks or will his parents destroy his chance at happiness?
USA Today Bestselling Author Krystal Shannan lives in a sprawling ranch style home with her husband, teenage son, and two almost teenage daughters. Her home is full of love and laughter and lots of animals. In fact the welcome mat warns visitors that it’s a zoo inside—chickens, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, dogs and fish! You name it, they’ve probably had it in their home at some point.
Krystal writes stories filled with magick, fantasy, passion, and just enough humor to make you laugh out loud. Join the fun and escape to a whole new world.
I was impressed with the first book in the Pool of Souls series, and hoped to find the next book, Finding Hope, to be just as good. To my pleasant surprise it was even better! We catch up with Ares and Aphrodite as they resume their play on human souls. And when Ares and Aphrodite play things tend to get intense! Ares, the formidable god of war, is a bold and fearless lover with an unabashed sexual appetite for the goddess of love, Aphrodite. The sexual chemistry between these two is nothing short of colossal, with bedroom scenes to match! But Aphrodite also has a job to do outside of the bedroom, influencing human souls and making connections the only way she has ever known … for better or worse.
Addison Connelly, a veterinarian from rural Montana, is traveling to Nashville to stay with her best friend from college for a weeklong visit before her friend’s wedding. Addison has stayed away from relationships after her last breakup, and has all but given up on matters of the heart. Meanwhile, Adrian Colter, police detective and roommate to the bridegroom, has an encounter with Aphrodite. In her human form, enjoying the indulgences of a wine festival with Dionysus, Aphrodite knows the soul to which she has just encountered, and the significance of their meeting—both Adrian and Addison have been lost for five lifetimes, and it might be too late. But can she call upon the gods to stand by her? Tensions are building within her own realm. And to complicate matters, Ares’s mother, Hera, has her own plans for the pool of souls … plans that may jeopardize not only the humans, but also those from beyond the great walls of Olympus.
Finding Hope is a perfect fusion of mythology and the modern world. With complementary parallel stories, a fresh plot, and meaningful characters, this is an absorbing second installment to the Pool of Souls series. The pages are filled with passion, clever phrasing, and an ample dose of humor. It is a great book, and I look forward to the next installment!
Picking up where Open House, Pool of Souls, book 1 left off – Aphrodite and Aries are still working to overcome their trust issues, but there are more important issues to deal with. Aphrodite is physically impacted when the souls she has matched do not meet, and instead die a lingering death. So her investment in the matching of the souls of Adrian and Addison is not a ‘whim’ but her reason for being.
The quest for power and the wish to destroy Aphrodite to regain the Olympians power is at the crux of this story, as we are given more information on Aphrodite’s pool and the diamond souls that inhabit it. When a soul diamond is stolen and its life force is ebbing: humanity becomes less caring and far more impulsive.
In the middle of this mess are Adrian and Addison: both afraid to trust and believe that another relationship won’t cause them pain. The resulting reunion and the trials they face to their happy ending to find their Hope is a beautifully detailed story.
Aphrodite and Aries are the underlying story line in this series – their relationship develops in each story as we discover more about their own personal histories as their bond strengthens. And, the human souls that Aphrodite seeks to bond together are always blessed with incredibly hot and sensually addictive sex scenes. Aphrodite and Aries have hot and steamy sex too, although theirs tends to have a touch of the “hurts so good” edgier sexual play that is also an exertion of their control.
Krystal Shannan can tell a story – each character has some solidly developed element that breathes life into them, and combined with the unique story and the desire to see the characters reach their HEA make this a really fun series that will please readers who want steam with their romance.

Pool of Souls Book 2 we join again the two sexiest gods and goddesses around! Ares and Aphrodite! In the newest adventure and let me just say right now that this gif describes my reaction to this book perfectly!
In the second book we learn a lot more about Ares and Aphrodite and their connection as well as the loving parents... Let's just say that Ares parent's are NOT happy and they do something so horrible that Ares and Aphrodite are almost separated forever... of course I can't tell you anything about that and I won't! Go and get it now! Really, the link is above :)
The humans that Aphrodite is watching over go through so much before the end and in that time they grow closer. The title of the story Finding Hope really fits in with every aspect of the story. I LOVE Ares and Aphrodite but I loved the human characters a lot in this story. So well developed that I could have been their best friend. This story is so detailed and descriptive that I was crying like a baby in certain points! Shivering during the sexy parts, crying during the sad parts, enjoying the book one hundred percent. Your gonna need a box of tissues without a doubt but it's a good kind of cry!
When I find a good book I find that I can really imagine myself there and leave the real world as I immerse myself into a story and that happened so many times in this book! I highly recommend this story to everyone and anyone! Five wonderful stars!
Whew can we say sexy!! I just love Aphrodite and Ares side story.. And I was more than happy to continue reading more about them.. But of course this is about more than just Aphrodite and Ares.. This time around Addison and Adrian could use a little help in the love department they are soul mates who havent been able to find each other in many lifetimes.. So thankfully Aphrodite is on the case..
Addison and Adrian separately have their own issues.. Past relationships left scars they fill cant be repaired.. Oh ye of little faith.. They have the classic hate/love story.. Their first meeting was uncomfortable.. and from that meeting.. akwardness and disdain developed.. Both kicking themselves for their actions.. Again there are some classes boy makes mistakes and redeems himself.. which I devoured like the insatiable human being that I am.. It really was a fast read all things considered and by all things I mean work and kids.. I stayed up late reading because I simply couldnt put it down.. I also took pictorial evidence but the bags were horrid and I am vain
Closely following the first book in the Pool of Souls series, Finding Hope is all about surpassing the odds and actually finding hope. Working with two cynical main characters, Krystal Shannan was able to successfully develop them into hopeful and in-love individuals. Addison and Adrian give inspiration through their dramatic character development and deep love for each other. On the Olympus side of the story, jealous and insecure in-laws get in the way of Aphrodite and Aries’ second-chance love and a question of trust was once again raised. Remarkably, having two pair of lovers in just one story tend to have one more than the other, but Shannan managed to balance them and put enough importance to each pair of character. Steamy love scenes with bondage are to be expected.

When Aphrodite meets Detective Adrian Colter she has a plan for the unexpecting detective, she knows who his soul mate is and plans to get them to meet. Should be fairly easy for the goddess of love, but that was before Addison Connelly who has not only sworn off men, she has a temper that completely derails her first meeting with Adrian. With mischief afoot when a jewel addict steals from Aphrodite, it creates a few ripples in Adrian and Addison’s relationship.
This was an enjoyable, fun filled story. I loved the mixture of the mythical gods and the modern day love story. Addison is a handful, but Adrian’s perception of her before he even meets her has him off kilter whenever she is near. This is book number two in the Pool of Souls series by Krystal Shannan. Excellent read, I hope there is more to come in the series.
I really enjoyed Adrian and Addison's story, but I think what makes this book work even better is the overlying story of Ares & Aphrodite and the petty viciousness of the Greek gods along with Ares & Ditee's love story.
A sweet, fast paced read, I giggled as Adrian put his foot squarely in his mouth when it came to meeting Addison. I enjoyed the snippets of Ares & Ditee's courtship, etc. I would've liked to see more of the banter as the conversations were fun and light. Lovely romance; I liked how in the end, both were willing to move to the other. Love is about support like that.
This was a very nice short read.....at least for me. I read the first book and wanted to see if the 2nd would be good. It didn't disappoint. I loved the way the two souls finally got together after so long. Hope is a powerful thing. It can do wonders and keep people from doing stupid things. So glad the Gods got together too.
This story is so much stronger than the original novella story that preceded it. It is a delicious blend of the events taking place amongst the Greek gods and the love story that Aphrodite encourages on earth. In the first story I found the two separate story lines a distraction, but not in the sequel here. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough at times to see what would happen next. The novel length helped this story achieve some depth that was missing before too (not that the first story was bad because it wasn't).
The story begins with Aphrodite discovering the missing soul mate for a woman she had met years before and she now has a new project involving Adrian Colter and Addison Connelly. With the help of her friend, Dionysius, Aphrodite sets things in motion for these two lonely souls to finally meet and fall in love.
Addison and Adrian don't make things easy though. Addison was deeply hurt by a boyfriend a few years before and she has serious trust issues plus she has made a life for herself in Montana and doesn't see anything more than a fling possible with someone who lives in Tennessee. Adrian has been rejected in the past because he is a cop and he just doesn't want to bother anymore. Sparks fly when the two opposites meet. It seems to be a recipe for disaster, but is it?
Aphrodite has to step up her game with her two stubborn souls so she calls in favors from the goddesses of Hope and Winter to help a wedding party at a rustic inn stretch into an opportunity for Addison and Adrian to really connect and they do. Meanwhile, someone is sneaking around Aphrodite's garden trying to access her pool of souls. Then she gets a chilling visit from Hera who hates the power that the pool of souls gives Aphrodite and threatens her to stay away from Aries. Aries betrayed her once before with the souls so she finds herself once again suspicious of Aries when one of the failed attempts to steal a soul leads to two of his retainers. Aphrodite locks them all out. Aries is devastated to lose this second chance with Aphrodite due to his mother's machinations, but before he can work to get Ditee to listen to him a soul diamond is stolen from the pool sending things off kilter on earth and on Olympus.
The pace and plot of this one moved along well. It was a blend of action and passion. Both couples were a treat to read about. I enjoyed watching Adrian and Addison slowly work through their prickles and it was sweet seeing Aries and Aphrodite's relationship moving into something substantial. Both couples got a bit of surprising news there in the end. So cute! And I'm eager to see what happens next with that battle for the power of the pool of souls that's heating up with the Greek gods in Olympus.
Great installment in the series and I recommend it to those who enjoy steamy contemporary romance stories and paranormal romances.
Finding Hope was exactly what the title hints at, finding hope. We have two separate stories being told without them actually being separate. We have Ares and Aphrodite who are the constants in this series. The first story had them at odds coming to an end, but now they are more intertwined in each others lives as they are intertwined in human lives.
This story is about Aphrodite pushing two people together giving them hope that their souls have not had for 500 years. Addison and Adrian live in two different places but a wedding of mutual friends has brought them together in this lifetime. Addison has stayed away from relations for the last 3 years after a horrible relationship. She meets Adrian during the week of wedding prep. At first they don't get along since both of them assume the worst of people so they assume the worst of each other. As the wedding comes closer these two seem to avoid each other more until the wedding night when they come together to find 2 missing boys. From there they begin to get to know each other in a way that they'd been avoiding. The growth between the two is slow going but as soon as they find the hope that they have been missing, there isn't anything that couldn't really keep them apart from each other.
I liked that even though this story is supposed to focus on the humans, we also have the Gods in play. We get to see Ares and Aphrodite's love for each other be tested in ways that could end their relationship and humanity in the most horrible way. With other Gods trying to take down Aphrodite and her power, Ares steps up and give Aphrodite hope that she had long lost with him. So while things are going horrible with the humans the Gods are in just as much turmoil.
With dual stories going on in one book one would find it to be confusing or just a horrible read, but that isn't this book. It keeps you interested in the plot and doesn't disappoint with any twists and turns that are thrown out at you.

Addison has been burned when it comes to love. So she has given up. She has her Vet practice. Her Grandfather's Ranch. Who needs love. Right? Aphrodite has had different plans for her for a while. It was all a matter of finding her the right guy, her soul mate.
Adrian had no intention of having anything to do with any of the bridesmaids at his best friends wedding. They are airheaded and superficial and not his type at all. When he first meets Addison he assumes she will be the same way. Boy was he wrong. Once he realizes his mistake there seems to be no way to change her opinion of him as he keeps doing everything wrong and embarrassing himself. But being snowbound together for three days may be able to change that.
Aphrodite is getting frustrated. Nothing is working out as he planned it. Addison and Adrian are very stubborn. She may need to bring in help on this on. Meanwhile someone is trying to get to her pool of souls. And when someone finally gets through and steals a soul she may have to rely on her lover Ares. The only person who has ever messed with a soul before and caused this type of pain and chaos. Will Addison and Adrian be able to get past their weariness of each other. And will Ares be able to save Aphrodite when the loss of the soul becomes too much for her to bear?
I would definitely recommend this book. This is part of a series but I believe would be fine if read as a stand alone but series are still always best read in order. I LOVED this book!!! I loved both of the male characters. I loved how when Addison needed Adrian the most without him even knowing it he left everything even with chaos all around him just to be with her just because he could not stand being without her and wanted to make things work. And Ares. I love that he was willing to battle almost his whole family to save Aphrodite, because he loves her and can't stand to see her hurt again. I could not put this book down!

Finding Hope has me loving Aphrodite and Ares even more.
There are major trust issues between them and of course Ares Parents (Hera and Zeus) are meddling in things they don't understand. We find out how Ares broke Aphrodite's trust and I can not express how i was like OMG no way. Its pretty good. This book continues with Aphrodite connecting soul mates and this time it isn't so easy as she does have to ask for a little help with Addison and Adrian.
Addison is a firecracker I love her, she is the type of best friend that all girls want to have. That poor girl goes though so much in such a short time. Lost, Doubt, Kidnapping, and so much more.
Adrian is cocky and doesn't think before he speaks i love how Addison puts him in place. He is afraid of being set up with a no brained ditz who loves nothing but looking good and shoe...Yeah Addison isn't like that at all. He doesn't know how to express himself and finds himself putting his foot in his mouth a lot.
Then there all the craziness that is happening cause of Hera(Evil Heifer) stealing something that doesn't belong to her. Causing Aphrodite to grow weak and Ares to become pissed(Not a good thing for his minions). Athena is introduced in the book and I have to say I love her,She really steps up and is kinda awesome.. I want to know more about her.
This book has everything Soul Mates, Hope, Ass kickin, Steamy Sex, Action, Drama... I couldn't put it down.
Krystal did not leave me hangin to bad in this book(Thank you)... She gives you an idea about what is next for Ares and Athena... Have to say I Can not wait for the next book..Because if what i want to happen is gonna happen..Oh Happy Day.
WOW. Yes that is the first word that comes to mind about this book. I thought she had amazed me with her short story but she out did herself with this one. Finding Hope is a book of two stories, both with on the edge of your seat drama, angst of deepest levels, loss, pain, betrayal. In between all of that she gave you two romances and love scenes that will make you sweat and squirm.
What impressed me the most is as I said in my review of her first book, I am not educated with mythology and the Gods. She did an excellent job at filling me in on the information that a newbie to this realm of history would need for the story to make sense. I didn’t feel lost or scrambling to make sense of this part of the book at all.
As for the human part, WOW once again. I think I fell in love with Adrian early on, but by half way through I was needing to shout to the world that there is a new romantic fictional boyfriend out here who really needs some love. Addison was just a pleasure to read about. She was so down to Earth, pure and a good girl who had been hurt so badly in the past, she deserved Adrian. Both characters are easy to emotionally invest in.
This is yet another wonderful romance book that I would highly recommend. It isn’t page to page sex, it has a serious plot and story line and characters that are so well-developed you can close your eyes and see them. It was easy to imagine what was going on in my head while reading it because she brought each page to life with her writing.
She's done it to me again! Shannon has pulled me, albeit willingly, into a world where Love and War can find happiness together against the odds. With other gods conspiring against them, Ares and Aphrodite have to find a way of saving not only themselves but Aphrodite's mortal charges.
When two souls miss their chance repeatedly through the centuries they start to lose hope of ever finding love. This is when Aphrodite must intervene and get those souls together so that they may be together for all eternity and the essence of their mated souls would join the other diamonds in her pool.
Living an almost symbiotic relationship with the matched souls in the pool, Aphrodite guards them with her very life. Because as much as she nourishes the love found in each diamonds, they in turn nourish her life and immortality. Steal a diamond from her pool; you steal a bit of her life force.
With other powerful Gods out to attain her powers, can Aphrodite trust that these two souls will finally find a way to each other?
It is obvious that Adrian and Addison are made for each other. There is an explosive quality to the sparks between them every time they are in the same room. But neither one of them came in to this looking for a relationship. And with Aphrodite losing ground with every minute, the possibility of their unexplored romance may stay exactly that... an unexplored possibility.
Amazing 2nd installment!! Hot, sexy, and romantic!! What can I say about Krystal Shannan. She has done it again with the second installment in the Pool of Souls series. I love that you are getting two stories in one that intertwine both the real world and the world of mythology. Not only do we get to see the story of Adrian and Addison who are the two soul mates that are destined to be together. But we also get to read about the love Ares has for Aphrodite. Since Adrian and Addison have been so stubborn in previous lifetimes as well as this lifetime, it is up to Aphrodite to get them to finally realize that they belong with each other. But not all goes as planned when both world's happiness are being sabotaged. Will Addison and Adrian have to wait for another lifetime to be together? Or will there be a chance for them to find the love and hope in each other that they have been waiting lifetimes for? I can't wait for the next book in this series. Finding Hope was not only smoldering hot, but it was sweet and had me laughing too. A definite must have in your library. Her descriptive writing makes you feel like you are a part of the story. Krystal Shannan has become one of my favorite authors and I am more than anticipating her next book.
The second book in the Pool of Souls series is a unique blending of two story lines.
Addison is disappointed when her friend tries to play matchmaker and things don’t work out and then she has to return home. Adrian is a detective and a confirmed bachelor decides that he has to go after Addison and arrives at the perfect time to help.
While Aphrodite is giving these two lonely souls a push and Ares is trying to win her trust, his parents interfere and cause horrible chaos on Olympus as well as on the mortal plain.
The author has twisted Greek Mythology into a very intriguing story with hot and steamy sex and captivating characters. This interesting concept of blending two interconnecting story lines in one book is well written and grabs the reader’s attention. The author has painted a very vivid picture of the dual settings for this enchanting read that completely draws the reader deeper into the story. Without confusing the reader she has incorporated suspense, romance, and red hot sex into both plots that makes this a very entertaining read.
The only thing I found wrong with this book is that it is too short and I was not ready for it to end. The book held me spellbound from beginning to end and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
This book picks up right where we left off in Open House. Aphrodite and Ares are still a HOT HOT HOT item. We get to see a lot more of Aphrodite and Ares and get to see a bit of the other gods in this book. I happen to love Gods and Goddess stories (I should since I happen to be Wiccan), and this one sure does NOT disappoint!
Krystal Shannon has created a wonderful world in her Pool of Souls series! In this book we have the story of Adrian and Addison. We also have a bit of a mystery going on in this book or should I say two mysteries, which added a very nice twist.
Once again she has strongly written characters and an enchanting world which will keep you turning the pages, late into the night. There are some humorous bits in the book and a few make you heart race bits, and just that touch of sex that makes it a hot story.
I must say I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone who loves a good tale. This series has it all in my opinion. I can't wait to read the next book in this fabulous series!
Details/Disclaimer: Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
Krystal Shannan has done it again! Wrap me up in a blanket and just snuggle with this awesome book! I could not get enough. Leaving off where Open House ended Aphrodite and Ares are still at it. Both with major trust issues, one playing match maker & the other destruction.
Addison and Adrian were amazing in this book. As we get to know them, and understand their reasons for being alone, they are thrust upon each other by their friends. It's amazing how much a few simple actions can cause such a stir. Adrian is not known for his mouth, much less can see himself trusting another woman without getting hurt again. Addison is the same though she just needs a push in the right direction to get her moving towards what could possibly be her one and only soul mate.
I loved how the author gives us a little bit of both worlds, with Addison and Adrian then Aphrodite and Ares. I couldn't get enough of the romantic 18+ scenes. Moments when a cool shower would have been nice. A very awesome second to an amazing first book in the Pool of Souls Series.
Addison Connelly has given up on men. She is disappointed yet again when her best friend tries to play matchmaker, and the match falls flat. Adrian Colter, Nashville Police Detective and certifiable bachelor, puts his foot in his mouth in a big way when his roommate’s fiancé tries to match him up with her best friend. Aphrodite has found them separat;y and knows these souls are made for one another. She is trying to meld them together, overcoming their mortal flaws, but all Olympus has broken loose. Ares is trying to regain Aphrodite's trust he lost thousands of years ago, his parents do what they do best —show off their greed and selfishness.
I love this story of Addison and Adrian. They have been searching for love and been burned in the past. Each find it difficult to open their hearts again to another. Addison's life is also in turmoil which makes it even more difficult to see the pleasures in life. I enjoy the switch to Aphrodite and Ares, their quest for love, and their battle against Hera and Zeus.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
This one wasn't just longer it was much more in depth than the first Poul of Souls novella. Finding Hope really pulled me in. Addison and Adrian were a great couple and enjoyable to read. They were at odds at first but couldn't deny what lay between them. After missing each other for many lifetimes, Aphrodite decides to take the oportunity of them being at a wedding at the same time to nudge them together. She pulls no punches and calls in all kinds of god's favors to get them to see what could be. The story was woven so well and you get two love stories for the price of one. Aphrodite and Ares are additional main characters and they are in for their own struggle for love. Ares parents get in the way and almost kill love with jealousy. There were two adventures going on at the same time. Can Adrian save Addison? Can Ares recover the lost diamond soul and save Aphrodite? You'll have to read to find out. You won't be sorry.
I loved this story so much. Even though I enjoyed Addison and Adrian’s story line for me my favorite part is Aphrodite and Ares. We really get to see more of their relationship in this part.
Addison and Adrian are soul mates who have missed each other over many lifetimes but this time around they have some help from the Goddess of love herself Aphrodite. But they need to get past the scars from previous relationships if they have any chance of connecting in this lifetime.
I really enjoyed that we get more history in this book compared to the novella that sets up this series. Adrian is just a great hero I loved watching him put his foot in his mouth around Addison. Addison is defiantly the right girl to keep Adrian on his feet. But as I stated before as much as I loved the main couple what kept me turning the pages and loving this book was Aphrodite and Ares. I am so hoping for a book just about them. 4/5 Bats ~Sabrina
I absolutely enjoyed this book. I read the first book in the series and I must say Finding Hope is my favourite of the two. It was definitely an entertaining read and can be read as a stand-alone. Krystal Shannan definitely knows how to capture her readers’ attention. This book pulled me in from the very first page and I just could not wait to see how it would all end. It had a great mix of humour, mystery, action and romance. The love scenes were quite hot and steamy. I liked how she incorporated the story of Ares and Aphrodite with that of Addison and Adrian. This a prime example of mixing fantasy with reality which for me made the story even more entertaining. Being a lover of Greek mythology I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the gods and their struggle to obtain power. If you are looking for something new and interesting to read, then go and get yourself a copy of Finding Hope.
Finding Hope is a great addition and continuation to the Pool of Souls series which can be read as a stand-alone and it’s a story that many fans of the genre will truly enjoy. This one has two touching stories going on at the same time, intermingling with one another and adding even more excitement into the mix of soul deep love and heartwarming romance, each one going through trials and despair. Can true love find its way home or will all four souls be doomed to never find their true love?
I find myself yet again looking forward to more work from Krystal Shannan. Her writing is very fun, flirty and stimulating. All definite draws for this here reader and I’m sure many others will feel the same!
I received an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own responsibility.
In the spirit of full disclosure I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed watching Ares and Aphrodite’s relationship strengthen. The story line with them in it was a nice addition. Addison and Adrian’s story was cute. I’m happy that he was there for her when she needed him the most. I noticed several small errors as I read, but they weren’t enough to completely draw me out of the story. Those who enjoyed Open House, will undoubtedly enjoy Finding Hope. The characters are life-like, the plots have many unexpected twists. The descriptions of Hera and Zeus were refreshing. Nothing like you’d expect.
Finding Hope by Krystal Shannan is the second book in her Pool of Souls Series. Each book can be read as a stand alone book but I suggest reading the first book as there is an ongoing plot.
In Finding Hope, Ares and Aphrodite are back, this time trying to connect love weary Addison Connelly and confirmed Bachelor Adrian Colter. Love is not easy, especially when dealing with meddling Gods. I loved this story. Lots of great characters with several great plots. I don't want to spoil the story but I will say this is becoming one of my favorite Krystal Shannon books. Highly recommend!!!
This was an unbelievable read. I recommend this book to all lovers of Greek mythology. This story puts an interesting twist in Aphrodite's and Ares relationship. And by the way? Ares is smoking sexy in this book. Krystal has added depth to his character and he is sure to steal your heart, if the our main characters don't first. This is an enchanting book filled with suspense, mystery, love, and wonder! I would read this book again because I enjoyed it so much. Definitely a top pick!!
A hot story with Greek Mythology! Sign me up! I loved the main characters. Adrian and Addison are amazing characters that I enjoyed reading their story. Ares is super-hot and Ms. Shannon gives him a lot of character. It's a story with suspense, love and a touch of wonder. Her writing is descriptive and really draws you in. I definitely recommend this story and the first story as well. You won't be disappointed!
Krystal has done it again with her 2nd Pool of Souls series book Finding Hope!! This book continues the love story of Ares and Aphrodite as well as the love story of Adrian and Addison. What I like most is how you get two love stories in one book. If you love paranormal romance this series is for you! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!
I liked Aphrodite and Ares story better then Addison and Adrian's. Addison and Adrian's story seemed too long in the beginning. The whole I misinterpreted what the other said got old. Fast paced though once they were at her ranch. Once at the ranch and couple together great story. Aphrodite and Are's story was better though. As in AWESOME... This was like 2 books in one. Can not wait for book 3.
