A recovering advertising executive, a sales and marketing expert and a career ad-man-former Senior Vice President BBDO, J. Walter Thompson Planning Director and Memeticist for WONGDOODY.
"Bill Hicks, please forgive me." ~Ben
Although author of progressive literary art like Poker Without Cards & FreeBookWorthReading.com, Ben is not widely discussed for his Cyber Punk writing.
Instead, Ben Mack is best known for his huge accomplishments in marketing and advertising. He won an American Marketing Association Effie Award for taking Yomega Yo-Yos from $8 million a year to over $120 million dollars a year!
How? Ben has uncovered an underlying structure of branding that has never before been revealed until his best selling book Think two Products Ahead.

Ladies & Gentlemen, please help me welcome a Magic Castle award winning magician, a student of Buckminster Fuller, a former Senior Vice President of BBDO, Brand Strategy Director on Cingular…
I wanted so badly for this book to work for me. Instead, I just found it frustrating.
Think two products ahead is about branding. The information appears to be there, but it rambles in a train-of-consciousness style that neither entertains nor informs.
As a marketing guru, Ben Mack has the experience, the connections and the know-how. Perhaps all he needs is to have a ghost writer to take another stab at this book.
I didn't really like it , it's more of common sense and nothing really new , I learned a few good stories It's good for someone who doesn't have any kind of business background
Ben Mack has a wide breadth of experience in the marketing world which he freely shares within the pages of this book.
He is correct in noting that many will not finish this book due to laziness or will not apply his suggestions. I certainly struggle not to prove him accurate in his assessment. Application of his methods most will find difficult and not due to laziness,
Think Two Products Ahead is a phenomenal resource for anyone who has their eye on developing a strategy to promote or advertise their writing, their business, and in my opinion, how to be more clear in your own life about what it is you want.
When I bought the book, I took copious notes on everything I read, and I did every single assignment. This book requires involvement and commitment, and by the time you get to the end of it, you have a clearly defined strategy. It's amazing.
Ben Mack speaks clearly, bluntly, and is known for finding loopholes in people's strategy. He's brilliant. And he also breathes fire. I heard he's writing or has written a fiction piece as well called, "Poker Without Cards." It's in the movie, National Treasure II.
