Really strong collection of stories. Lots of short and solid noir, mystery, and thrillers here, some on the sea, in hotels, on dark and winding roads, including some that I found genuinely spooky ! Even had a story with female characters only, surprisingly. Worth finding a copy if you're a fan of Hitchcock, noir, or '50s-early '60s tales.

Police style stories; some with doses of drama and suspense, others show flashes of terror. But in general they form a pleasant book and entertaining reading.

I must admit the stories of this book were not as good as I expected. And I am a big fan of these kind of Hitchcock books.
