My newest book, FALLING INTO DREW, is available now! Its star is the yummy Drew O'Connor, a man I enjoyed spending time with and I hope you will too!

One of the best parts of writing novels is the chance to immerse myself in the world of my characters. I'll miss Diego and the rest of the people in the Legacy series, but my newest book's characters are just as intriguing.

After a long career in journalism (Harper's and TIME magazines), I must say that it's much more fun to write fiction than about real world events!

One of my greatest thrills is knowing that so many readers enjoy the stories I've created. I'm grateful to each and every person who's read my books (especially those who leave reviews so that other readers can find them).

There is just no words that I can say about these two. Love Diego such an alpha male (yes he is) and Alexandra.

This is such an awesome read that I am rereading it over again. You will love the chemistry that they both have and what they go through with what happened on Book 1. It is filled with some angst oh a little build up lust and live chemistry and also the WTH moments this story brings. Not to miss but it's a good mystery romantic ultra hot read.

What began in Legacy of the Highlands continues in this new incredible offering. Scottish intrigue, unbelievable passion, mystery, revenge - this one hits on all cylinders - providing a truly thrilling plot that readers will not be able to put down.

For those who do not yet know, Alexandra Cameron is the heroine of this saga. It’s been only two short years since her beloved husband, Will, was slain in the streets of Boston. Getting back on her feet, seeking revenge against the person who ripped her love from her life, Alex did so with the help of Diego Navarro. Diego is a strong, handsome, passionate Argentine who was the rock Alex leaned on after Will’s demise, but he ended up being the man who stole her heart.

Although they deserve happily ever after, Diego has a responsibility in life. His family is incredibly wealthy and has built a real estate empire that Diego will one day be asked to run. After a night of lovemaking, Diego must head back to Buenos Aires leaving Alex to run her gallery in Boston - each wondering how the relationship is going to work.

Alex isn’t alone, of course. A bodyguard by the name of Alain watches over her (a Frenchman who’s just as sexy as Diego). He’s on alert, considering that in a very short time James Mackinnon will be let out of prison in Scotland - a man who has nothing else on his mind but getting revenge on the people who killed his son. And his evil plan begins with Alex.

Serge, Diego’s bodyguard, is also on edge waiting for the Scot to show his face. Sure enough, Mackinnon is released, hale and hearty, and heads to Boston where, despite everything, the kidnapping occurs. Diego, Serge, Alain - literally a brigade of enticing warriors head out to rescue Alex and put an end to this once and for all. But as Alex finds herself tied up in a rustic cabin dealing with a man who looks at her with far more than just revenge in his eyes, she may end up being the one who must fight the battle in order to save her own life.

This is the second book in the series. I read the first book, Legacy of the Highlands, and absolutely loved it. I wasn't certain that this second book could live up to the first. Well, I was wrong to be concerned. You don't have to read the first book to enjoy this second in the series, but if you get the chance, grab it -- it'll be a great read and make your enjoyment of this book much richer.

In this second book, It has been two years since Will Cameron’s body was discovered in a Boston alley, and his widow, Alexandra, now living in Boston, has become very close to Will's best friend, Diego Navarro.

I had forgotten a few details of the first book, but this author very cleverly included facts that made certain that you were never at a loss for what was going on.

This story, like the first, jumped into high gear almost immediately. I didn't want to put it down, but I had to once in a while, just to catch my breath. This book has a lot of twists and turns. This author has a magical way with words, she keeps you on your toes the entire book.

Again, there is a beautiful love story. It had plenty of heat, but the emotions were primary to the relationship. And the love story fit in so well that you could see that it was a very important portion of the whole plot in this tale. Without it, the story wouldn't have worked. I know that I said this about the first book, but it is so important to this book also, that I have to mention it.

I didn't know that there would be more to write about after the first book, but there is plenty going on. This is so important and exciting and I can't believe that I didn't realize that there was more to know after reading the first book.

I really don't know what more to say. If you are looking for an awesome romantic suspense, this is the book for you. I can not remember when I have read a book that was so intense before. This author is one of the best I have discovered in years. You don't want to miss reading this book.

This is the second book in the series and raps up the story arc remarkably. We pick up the tale two years later with Alex and Diego living together in Boston enjoying their lives yet they know that someday they will have to confront the threat that still lingers.

Even though they have had relative peace for two years, she is scared when Diego leaves on business and because of the unknown Diego has hired Alain, a Frenchman who keeps to himself most of the time but is good at what he does and protects Alex while she is working at her shop.

While Diego is in Argentina they hear that James Mackinnon has been released from jail, his son is the one that killed Will two years ago and they know that he wants revenge for his own sons death by Serge. With Diego visiting his ailing father they are alerted that Mackinnon has been spotted in Boston so Alex decides to travel to Argentina for safety. While there, Sebastian who is a friend of Diego, comes to a party with a new girl who turns out to be Mairi from Scotland, she never knew how deep her father was involved with this violent movement, so agrees to help Diego, Alex and Serge who she met in Scotland.

As Diego and friends get closer to finding Mackinnon, the danger ramps up and when Alex goes back to Boston because of her business, Mackinnon is waiting for her.

I really enjoyed this second installment of the story which although has much of the danger and intrigue as the first, this also really focuses on Alex and Diego's relationship and how they will take the next step toward togetherness.

I absolutely loved this follow up to Legacy of the Highlands! I fell in love with Diego in Book 1 and he was just as passionate, strong, and lovable in this story. I liked Alex even better in this story. She came across as incredibly fiesty and sympathetic. The author introduces a few new characters, who were all very interesting and likeable. I can't decide which gorgeous male character I liked the best: Diego, Serge, Alain, or Seb. And even young Dani, Alex's new best friend, was a fun and entertaining diversion from the intense action scenes. The pace was fast and smooth and very well done. The plot was multi-layered and included enough twists and turns to keep me guessing. I learned some things about both Scottish and Argentine politics. The rich descriptions and authentic settings of Buenos Aires and Boston added nicely to the story. I was so happy to see Diego and Alex get their happily-ever-after in the end. Overall, a very satisfying read!

I knew before I started reading A Legacy of Revenge that I'd love it! In fact it was even better than I expected! It certainly ticked all my boxes for a great, enjoyable read!
A rich mix of romance/sex, history, intrigue, deception with a touch of current affairs. All set against a backdrop of Boston & Buenos Aires. A thoroughly enjoyable sequel to Legacy of the Highlands.

I SORT OF STUGGLED THROUGH PARTS OF THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT HAS SO MANY CHARACTERS IN THE STORYLINE. THIS CAN BE ANNOYING AND CONFUSING TRYING TO REMEMBER WHO ALL OF THEM ARE. THIS IS NOT A BAD READ, A LITTLE REPETATIVE WITH A WHOLE LOT OF ANGST. THIS IS BOOK#2 IN A SERIES, I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY, I HAVE ONLY READ THIS ONE. ALEX THE FEMALE LEAD GOT ON MY NERVES BEING SO STUBBORN, WHE SHE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT THINGS OUT BETTER. DIEGO WAS A TIPICAL SEXXY ALPHA MALE, HE WAS SO IN LOVE WITH ALEX HE COULD HARDLY THINK STRAIGHT AT TIMES. THE CHARACTERS (good ones & bad ones) WERE WELL DEVELOPED, I LIKED THEM. THIS MAY HAVE BEEN A SERIES BUT CAN BE READ AS A STAND ALONE (I liked that). THE STORYLINE IS ALL ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE SEEK REVENGE, WHAT STARTS OUT A SNOWBALL ROLLING DOWN A MOUNTAIN EVENTUALLY TURNS INTO A FULL FLEDGED AVALANCHE WITH NO END IN SIGHT. THE SAD THING IS HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE IT DESTROYS, WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM. I GUESS NO GOOD FEUD GOES UN-PUNISHED. ;D IT HAD SOME VERY HOT LOVE SCENES AND I THINK THAT COVER IS SO SEXXY. GROWL! ;>

This is a beautiful love story and it is wonderful to see Alex and Diego still together and working their way through life's obstacles such as different countries. I love Diego's protectiveness towards Alex and their obvious chemistry and it was great to see their relationship continue through all the excitement and intrigue.

Again Harriet gave us action, drama and a reminder of how Alex and Diego came together from book 1 and introduced the back characters well. I also liked how Alex was still grieving for her first husband and make her way to moving on with new love and life goals.

Again this is probably not my normal genre read for romance but it still entertained me and I could feel the passion of the characters and their enduring love and to each other.

We also meet Seb and Dani whom I absolutely loved in Legacy of Love (Legacy #3) which I read before book 1 & 2.

If you like romance with lots of mystery, action, passion, love and wonderful locations then you will enjoy this.

With a couple more chapters and the epilogue from this book added to Legacy of The Highlands, this book would have been totally unnecessary. As it is, it's 300 pages of sex scenes with bits of plot wedged in between them. And the 'hero' got on my last nerve with all the crying. I loved Highlands but this sequel left me cold.

I cheated and read the end first

Because I didn't want to read this book. But then it looked so good I had to find out how the author arrived at the her conclusion. A little unusual but who knows what one would do when a nasty man wants to inflict pain upon someone??!!
