Miranda Parker has a strict rule when it comes to dating in the workplace-completely off limits. But when Spencer Gray arrives as her new boss, she is tempted more than ever to break that rule. But she is determined to stay strong.
Spencer Gray has just inherited his uncle's media company. He is grieving, and meeting Miranda Parker is a welcome distraction. But he has to convince her to take chance.
I really liked this book! I thought that it was well written and the storyline was easy to follow, which is a must for me.
Spencer Grey has just inherited everything that his Uncle Ray owned after his passing. One of those things is a magazine that his Uncle worked at until his passing. Spencer's true passion is photography, which he happens to be very good at and he is a well known artist.
Miranda Parker is a copy editor for the magazine that Spencer just inherited. She is a 26 year old single woman whose true passion is photography but, she ends up with a job that she isn't completely satisfied with. To make matters worse, her mother is constantly setting her up on blind dates with the hopes of getting her married so she can finally give her some grand children. Miranda is attracted to Spencer and is surprised when he becomes the CEO of the company that she works for because that now makes him off limits.
Spencer is also attracted to Miranda and would like nothing more than to get to know her better but, she cuts him off at every turn. He isn't so quick to give up his pursuit of Miranda and her slowly starts to break through her defenses in-spite of the resistance that she puts up.
This is a Great Story about a man that has never been in love and is finally willing to take a chance and a woman who has been hurt in the past and is afraid to put her heart on the line again. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a really good romantic story. I can't wait for Henry's story!
Sweet romances are always welcome when the character development and storyline flows well. This is what you have with Spencer and Miranda's story. You love the connection they have through photography and the trust of love. Not to mention Johnny and Liz making an appearance. As well as Henry and Sammy, which adds the extra layer of compassion and understanding to the character dynamics. Momma Sondra is also precious in her quest to setup Miranda. But with good friends like Cassandra, the story flows naturally as one commits to the process of love.
This is my second book by this author. The story between Miranda and Spencer is cute and sweet. The writing is good and the storyline and character development are solid. There are quite a few grammatical errors, which can be distracting. Over all I am enjoying her writing and will continue to read this series.
Miranda and Spencer made such a good couple. I appreciate her no dating coworkers rule I’ve never had that issue teaching at a preschool all woman. But I had that rule in high school and that’s how. I can connect wit Miranda. Spencer had game also and he was very accomplished in life he was like super black man. This cute story gets five stars.🔥
The storyline is EVERYTHING! But the love scenes need MAJOR work! It’s like getting worked up to the climax but not being able to complete it! I keep sounding like a broken record commenting about the love scenes but in each one I would love to give 5⭐️‘s but I just can’t do it just yet!
The love and affection Spencer showed Miranda was amazing. He was determined to break the barriers she had stemming from being hurt in the past. Although there were some grammatical errors, their love story was told with simplicity.
Good enjoyable feel-good story. Very aptly titled. Miranda took a chance with deciding to date Spencer against her self made rule not to date anyone she worked with. Great series so far, definitely recommend to all readers.
The 2 books so far were captivating, the characters are great and the way you write is very soothing and enjoyable. It's very hard to stop reading your books. Te keep writing and I will keep reading, Awesome Writer.
I love Miranda and Spencer love connection. I love how Spencer didn't allow Miranda doubt nor fear stop him for going after the woman he love. This was was cute love story.
Life is full of uncertaintys and one must try and prepare for them. But in this god's has a plan that no one can prepare for. Spencer and Randi is a clear example of this event. No one can prepare for the future. Some have to take chances and live with it.
I love Miranda and Spencer. They are such a sweet couple and totally in tune with each other. I'm happy that Randi gave Spencer a chance. If not, she would have missed the love of her life.
Another good book by author Te' Russ. Continuing with the McAllister's friends 💘 lives takes a look at Journalist/Photographer Miranda Parker & News/Magazine owner Spenser Gray. I gave the book 3 🌟 🌟 🌟.
If I wasn't hooked on reading this story, I would have stopped reading. There were way to many spelling errors. Please make sure you check everything before publishing
Te' delivered another nice page turner with this story. A nice romantic easy read. A little bit of drama and nicely developed characters. Spencer and Miranda had a spark from day one. The two had to come to terms with whether they could handle a romantic entanglement. This story was realistic and gives us hope for taking a chance at love.
There were too many typos in this book...not sure if I want to read the remaining books in the series. The story was ok, but there was not a lot of excitement in the book...too predictable.
Miranda and Spencer was a cute couple and I enjoyed reading their story. However, even with instance attraction and intense chemistry, the characters' story wasn't developed enough for this world wind love. It felt rushed and didn't let me fully connect with the characters. Nevertheless, it was fun to read.
