This is the third book in the series and the one book I have been waiting for. Jason and Morgan have raised their daughter Piper in relative quiet . The evil Mercedes is gone for now . When Piper heads to Ireland to continue her studies , things aren't what they seem . Jason and Morgan have trouble letting go and have reason to . Mercedes is up to no good and Piper is the target . Piper won't go down easily . Will Piper survive to live the life of love with the man of her dreams .
I was so excited for this installment . I absolutely love this series , why you may ask . Well I will tell you . The characters are well written and complex . You will fall in love with Piper . She is the gutsy woman that you want to be . She is sweet and caring and so loving . Declan is a new character and the man that Piper falls in love with . He is a strong caring guy who will go to the ends of the earth to be with his Piper . He is a detective and is adorably cute. The rest of the family is back also . Jason and Morgan and Nolan Walker all come to help find Piper . Mercedes is just as evil as ever I am thinking even more evil in this installment .
This book was a great read I read it in a evening . I got sucked in and couldn't put the book down . The author took me on such an emotional journey , I laughed and cry oh boy did I cry . The last part of the book is really hard to read because of all the emotions it will bring up . Especially when Poe makes an appearance . This is a dark book and there are some things that will creep you out ok well may Mercedes is the one that will creep you out lol. You do find out a lot more of Mercedes past life in this book also . So if you want a good read on a cold night . Grab your copy and a box of Kleenex and a cup of tea and sit down and enjoy

This book keeps you enthralled from start to finish. I found myself both hating and intrigued with the evil villain Mercedes. This book does have sexual situations dealing with necrophilia so i would warn people if that bothers them it might not be a good match, but it is defiantly a great love story with a dark and haunting theme.
