The crash was no accident. Fate carried Brady and his airplane to the isolated island where Karis was banished to live alone. She feared the worst as she sifted through the wreckage, sure that no one could survive. But there he was, barely breathing yet still alive.

The closer she got to him, the more her powers awakened. He was like a magnet she was drawn to. Maybe it was the years alone that left her yearning for companionship, or maybe it was the taut muscles in his arms that beckoned her to come closer, either way she had a hard time controlling her thoughts. She knew things about him that he couldn’t remember, things that were blocked from his memory. He wasn’t from earth either, and she needed his help to save both of their worlds. But the closer she gets to Brady the more she knows her world is with him.

Even with a woman as beautiful as Karis, Brady was well trained, but he wasn’t prepared to care as much as he did. Being an underground fighter made him the wrong man for a future Queen of a different world, and he knew it. But that didn’t stop the yearning he felt deep inside. It didn’t stop his heart from racing when she was around. And it didn’t stop him from falling in love.

M.R. Polish has been writing since she was a young girl. She would tell her stories to anyone who would listen until she discovered she could put them onto paper.

Out on the ocean is her favorite place to be and would live on a cruise ship if she could, traveling the world, but alas, adulting and responsibilities keep her grounded.

M.R. is happily married to someone who would gladly follow her onto a ship and sail away. They have four kids, who might be more adventurous jet-setters than their mother.

My Thoughts:

Karis, a princess from an immortal land, has been sentenced to eternity on a deserted island on Earth. Alone. She has had no contact with anyone for close to a hundred years until a stranger named Brady crash-lands on her island. There is an immediate attraction that neither can explain. They soon discover they aren’t much different and that their fate has been tied together since birth.

I loved the chemistry between Karis and Brady and how it felt believable right from the start! Brady really had to face some new realities that would be hard for anyone to deal with, but he accepted and adapted as best as he could for Karis! He was always brave and protective or her but without being overly possessive. Instead, he acknowledged Karis’ strength and power and so they always faced whatever craziness was thrown at them together.

The whole world, or worlds I should say, that this story took place in were amazing and intricate. Ms. Polish took many different elements from the fantasy and supernatural genres and created a handful of different lands with varying landscapes, powers, and people. With so much variety, there was a lot of depth, which allowed the plot to be new, interesting, and most importantly, original.

There was a point in the story where I was wondering where the plot was going, but Ms. Polish did an awesome job at making everything come together in the end! This made the story anything but predictable since I never knew what was going to happen. I love when I find this in a book because often times, I feel I know exactly how everything is going to play out making it a not very fun read. With all that being said, I do have one little complaint about the plot. I think that sometimes the book almost moved along too quickly and I wish some parts or scenes could have been a little more in-depth.

The ending was definitely left open for a sequel but it wasn’t a huge cliffhanger (thank goodness!) and it left me wanting to see where the next installments are going to take Karis and Brady!

First I want to say how beautiful the cover is because its absolutely breath taking! The story inside is just as amazing. I started this book and was determined to finish it before went to bed, but my eyes wouldn’t work with me. They insisted on closing before I was ready for them to and getting hit in the face with my Kindle Fire got old. This book was so much more than I thought it was going to be. I saw all the good reviews and recs to get the book and was like well what the hell? I mean everyone has different taste in books but the cover and synopsis pulled me so I bought it. SO GLAD I DID.

We are introduced to Karis, love the name by the way so unique, when she’s being banished to Earth from her world. Why is she being banished? Well you’re going to have to read to find that out. She is stranded on this deserted island that has a curse placed on it. A curse that ensures her captivity but also from anyone coming to the island. Talk about harsh right? Destined to spend all of eternity on a deserted island with no one to talk to? I think I’ll pass. That is until a storm sends a plan crashing through the barrier and going up in flames on her island. Knowing the curse would kill whoever made it through, she decided to take the chance and make sure.

Brady is an underground fighter who just happened to crash on Karis’s island and for some reason he made it. Well with the help of Karis’ healing powers that is. Confused and angry that he is now stuck on the island, Brady has some mood swings. It’s not until he sees what happens when boats get close to the island that he starts believing Karis’ story about being stuck there. Then there’s this strange attraction he has towards Karis. Of course she’s beautiful but there’s something more and he can’t quite put his finger on.

Karis and Brady’s lives become intertwined when they learn that Brady is more than he seems and they were destined to meet. Can they both wrap there head around that information? The most important question is what’s going in Karis’ home and can she save her people? Being a princess comes at a price and when everyone is out to get you, who do you trust? Brady vows to stay by her side and protect her but can he? Can Karis save her people from what her worlds become? And who exactly is Brady?

Ageless Sea will have you at the edge of your seat dying to find out what’s going to happen next. M.R. Polish wrote one damn good story. She captured and held my attention from start to finish and I seriously need the next book in this series. She takes a spin on Greek Mythology, which only furthers my love for this book because I love Greek Mythology. You’ll have to read to see what I’m talking about! Brady, oh Brady how I love you! I usually use quotes in my reviews, so I’ll leave you one and of course its from Brady’s mouth.

“No, you keep it. I’ve got everything I need right here.”

Not what you were expecting right? Usually I pick a romantic quote, but this one, this quote right here speaks loads about his feelings about Karis. When you read the book you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. So go buy this BOOK now!

I’m having conflicted feelings about this book. While I loved the story, I felt a huge disconnect with the characters. The two main characters, Karis and Brady, just lacked depth. Please don’t throw things at me. I wanted to love them, I did. I can’t force it. I didn’t hate them, but I didn’t love them. Call it indifference, if you will. There were a few characters I liked, but they didn’t get enough play.

Fade to black romance…I’m not usually a fan. I knew before starting this that it was a fade to black. I get it. I didn’t expect the romance to be to bland. There was only a small portion of that build up that I love. The rest was kinda like “hey I’m here,” but it just fell flat.

The story was kick ass! Different supernatural words existing with access to each through portals was frickin’ cool! I almost want to call them different species, but that doesn’t sound politically correct. Maybe the Syrenae…they were a weird bunch. But how cool would it be to grow a mermaid tail in water?! I’d totally dig that. I understand that it is a series, but it seems the end was cut too short. I will probably read the book again in the future. Who knows, maybe my brain is so flustered that I couldn’t give this book the rating it deserves. Oh, and the cover, SPOT ON!! I love when you can feel the cover in the story.

YUM! Ageless Sea has it all for me - magic, steamy romance, a buff guy with tattoos, and an awesome good vs evil story!

From the first page to the very last, there's something always something exciting happening. We first meet Karis as she's being banished to a life of solitude. You feel for Karis right off the bat. She's sweet and charming. Heck, she makes friends with families of birds - you can't get much more innocent than that. But you can tell the loneliness is taking a toll on her and you start to think you're going to get cabin fever along with her.

Until the charming Brady falls into her life - literally. Oh the sparks that fly! I loved the awkwardness between them as they began to discover and learn about one another. Karis' innocent demeanor was just too funny at times when mixed with Brady's rough and stuff personality.

Once the embark on their journey is when the real fun began for me. Even though both of them were unprepared for the adventure that awaited them, I really enjoyed how strong both of them remained, but I know that had a lot to do with the fact that they were each other's backbone. Their relationship grows so much and when one become unsteady, the other is there to hold them up. It's a true display of love to me! I know, I'm a hopeless romantic, but I love TRUE love stories and this is definitely one of them.

Don't let my words fool you, though! It's not just a mushy love story! There's fighting, adventure, alliances and even some betrayals that I didn't except! Even when things are rough, Karis and Brady together are leaders and you want to jump in and fight with with. I loved that element in the book. I can not wait for the next book! Karis and Brady are one of my favorite book couples and I need to finish their story!

Karis has been forever banished from her home for a crime she did not commit. She is isolated on an island alone, with no way for anyone to access the island for those that do try to gain access to this mysterious island dies while trying. That is until one day there is a plane wreck and there is a survivor, a man named Brady. From the moment she finds Brady, there is something about him that she just doesn't understand and he is thrown into a situation that he has no idea what to believe.

It is then that Karis learns that things are happening in her home land, one that she was mean to rule as Queen that only she and Brady can stop from happening.

Right from the beginning, I was drawn in to Karis' story and the mystery around why Brady was the individual that was able to break through the wards of the island and find Karis. Throughout the story both Karis and Brady face so much but together they learn that they are meant to be together and this helps them in overcoming anything this placed in their path. I absolutely loved the story and how everything moved right along. I found myself not wanting to stop reading and was very sad to see the story end. M.R. Polish laid the story line out perfectly and you couldn't help but find yourself swallowed up in the story and imagining yourself there.

First let me say I love this book cover!!! It is just gorgeous, depicting Karis and Brady so beautifully. The story within the pages of this book is so romantic and touching. Karis is a strong female heroine and Brady is a hunk of a man that is strong and strengthens Karis in every supportive way that is possible. Truly the term and two became one applied to them. I love how they teased and loved each other and how her fight was his and his hers.

The storyline was interesting as well as romantic. The theme of immortals living in different worlds, some having powers and others not, the mythological Gods we all studied being brought to life, mermaids and mermen, although they go by a different name......well let's just say it was a great tale of power and greed and the pure heart of a true Princess who wanted to save her people. And the awesome world building that Polish created....I would love to swim with the Syrenae...it used to be dolphins I'd love to swim with! How beautifully they were described.

If you love fantasy, action, adventure and romance, this is a great read! I can't wait til the second book is released.....yes, I have gotten myself into another series and I'm lovin it!

Umm WOW. This book was amazing and so is the cover. Definitely a 5 star book.

This book is about a journey that Karis and Brady take to try and get Shamike back which belongs to Karis. They both have things to learn. Not everything is the same for Karis and everything is brand new for Brady but they do it together. Karis and Brady's relationship is special and nothing will stop them from being together.

Karis who is Queen of Shamike has it rough. Becoming Queen is not an easy thing when you have people against you. But she is a strong girl who never gives up. She is a fighter and that is whats so great about her. She doesn't give up.

Brady is Hot of course with a kick ass tattoo. He has a great sense of humor. He had me laughing a few times threw the book. He is an alpha male. He is strong and willing to fight for and with Karis in every way. Brady also has it rough because he has a lot to learn that he didn't know about.

M.R. Polish did a great job with this book. It was laid out perfectly and you are able to imagine every place and everything perfectly. I was lost in this book from page 1. This has reached my favorites and I can't wait for a book 2.

Book Title: Ageless Sea
Series: Ageless series
Author: M.R. Polish
This book was amazing within a few minutes of starting this book I was hooked and finished! This book has something for everyone and there are so many different elements in this book and the author blends them seamlessly! I love how this book has something for everyone there is romance, a paranormal aspect, Greek gods and goddesses and so much more. The story starts out with Karis in her own world and the banished to earth. The story then moves to present day with her still on earth and when Brady crashes on her island the story then becomes very fast paced. Karis figures out many secrets on her journey with Brady and she finds that not everyone can be trusted as she thought. In the end there are still questions that are unanswered but there is not a major cliffhanger. This was a well written book and I loved it if you love books with other worlds, romance, or adventure this is a book for you. This was an amazing start to this series and I can not wait for the next one to find out what happens.

What a fun read this was, other dimensions and worlds, different beings and a battle to win the right to be called ruler! There is always constant action and never a dull moment in this book it only gets better the further you read into it, the adventure, betrayals and love the characters experience is entertaining. Love all the characters I was a bit miffed by the fact that the female lead cannot do much without her male counter part but it's easily over looked, it would be nice to read her hold and do more on her own instead of relying so heavily on her partner. Their romance is sweet though the supporting characters are fun and nicely supportive of the main characters, with great interaction time, the reader gets a bit of their personality and what type of people they are instead of a one time mention, which is something I always enjoy, reading about others besides the main major leads.

I'm not lying in any way by saying, I enjoyed Agless Sea so much I can not find the proper words to say it.
The main character, is a strong willed, compassionate, and even though she has so much relying on her, she retains those qualities. by the way, Karis! WE HAVE THE SAME NAME! :D its fantastic!
Agless Sea has all kinds of wicked cool fantasy characters all interacting for the betterment of one!
There is action and also cutesy Aww moments that build the emotional connection between characters and their environment.
As with all good books there is also the imagination candy, Brady! an underground fighter, whose lyoal, brave, loving, and best of all HILARIOUS
I don't think anything I have said or can say will do justice to how fantastic I think Agless Sea is, but I know I can not wait for book 2!!!!

Brady and Karis were fated as one but I loved how they truly fought for the one they love. It was a emotional roller coaster that tested them time and time again. I absolutely loved this book. It started with cover love and then the story. You have everything in this book. Immortals, Merpeople, and the author found a way to sneak in my favorite Greek Mythology how can you go wrong. I would recommend this book for ages 16+ not because it has sexual graphic scenes but it hints at it without showing it all in detail. I would call it a fade to black you know they did it but not all details. I really cant wait to read more into the series the author left me on a cliffhanger. I recommend this to everyone to see a woman embracing her abilities to fight along side her man for the good of others.

Karis she's a one tough cookie, "I, for one, am hungry. You can go on and look for it. I'll point you the way, but I am eating before I go traipsing around the island with you." Brady he can be an a** at times but at least he's an honest one, "look, I get close to you and feel this...this strange attraction. Obviously you don't share the same feeling, so I need to find a way to get away. I need to go home. I have fights waiting for me. I could have any girl back in the states, why would I waste my time here." When they're happy and together they're playful and I liked that, "hey, you best control those thoughts, woman. You'll make me weak before the sun has a chance to rise." I wouldn't mind a follow up story I really did love Brady and Karis's.

I'm looking forward to reading more about the queen to be & her tale!
After reading several of her books, M.R. Polish won me over with her writing style as well as her captivating characters. I love the whole idea of this story! I especially adore this cover!! In this tale we are escorted on an adventure to far away lands and down into the depths of the sea where we meet magical beings, syrenae (mermaids/mermen), & royalty alike.
I really like the characters although I feel like they did not shine to their full potentials at times causing me to sort of disconnect. For the most part the story flowed terrifically, & the more I read the more they gelled. I'm looking forward to reading more about the queen to be & her followers very soon!

First of all, let me say that I LOVE THE COVER OF THIS BOOK!!!! It ties into the storyline so amazingly well. This is one of those stories that I feel needs to be on everyone’s radar. It has a TRUE love story (seems kind of rare sometimes), magic that defies belief, and a plot that draws you in.
Brady and Karis are a perfect match and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow. There are always stumbling blocks but these to manage well. This is one of those books that flows so well, you can picture everything clearly. Bonus. I love tattoos and magical tattoos are just freaking hot!

this is so a five star book. it has mermaids and greek gods. those are two of my favorite things to read about. I really like this book because it doesn't just leave off right after a war happened like most books. this one keep going and there was never a lame moment. this book pulls you in when you start reading and you just do now want to put it down.. this is the first book by M.R. Polish I have read and I really like it next I will have to try her other series out. I am very excited to read the next book when it comes out. also another thing I like is she does not drawl out a sex scene she just skips the sex and that is something I like so I would say this book can be read by a teenager

I had the pleasure of beta reading Ageless Sea by M.r. Polish and even then it was a stunning tale of adventure, romance, betrayal and a vivid imagination.

Karis was a great heroine and Brady was swoonworthy in so many ways. The story line is fresh with mythology I've never seen anywhere. I was swept into the world and worried over what would happen with the couple, as some major politics were involved.

All in all, it was a great tale and an easy read to sink into. I'm looking forward to the sequel!

Oh my gosh! Ageless sea is just want a hopeless romantic needs to read! It has hot guys, cool magical tattoos, lots of magic, and worlds. I don’t want to give too much away, but oh Brady is so funny. It was fun reading what he says in “Earth slang” and how it is interpreted in “Other World language” Ha ha. Still laughing over Bootcamp!!! He he.

Note: For 18+, Mild Swearing, Fade to black sex scenes.

What first made me want to read this book was the cover of the book and the blurb. I admit, if I love a book cover, 99.99% of the time, I will read the book.

But what I love more than the cover of this book was the plot of the story. It was unlike anything I've read and I really related and loved both the main characters, Brady and Karis.

I recommend this book to everyone! It was really good and then writing was fantastic!

This story was fun. A bit different from her Ageless Sea series, but I was looking for different at the time. The pacing was excellent like the AS series and the dialogue was amazing. I was there - in the story - and I LOVE when that happens.

And can I just say cover matches story well! Great job! Great start to a series! Can't wait for more!

All in all, the fade to black felt like it covered more than the intimate moments. It took from the build-up of the romance. Everything else was amazing and captivating. The plot was original, the characters were well rounded and the main characters were likeable, the dialogue flowed nicely and was wity, the descriptions created amazing pictures. I just loved it. Hours well spent.

I have to say that I thought the book started slowly. I took a few chapters to get into it, but then the story opened up and continued at a good pace. The character development and the way they all meshed together was very good. I am curious to see just where MR Polish will take us next.
