This is a book which deserves to be savoured, as sipping a wee dram of the ‘aqua vitae’. It is a terrific élan into a ‘Marinetti’s Futurists’ realm of values, prose, syntax, space and wit.
Kit chisel’s on the serifs to all those notions of Bauhaus modernity with her smooth literary definitions, pushing out the poetic canvas with the typographic values eloquently transcending the page in that quest for the purest poetic form. Kit’s foray uses the typographic space to the reverence of the word, its elevated playful undulating rhythms into a literary joyfulness, if religious aura all its own.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh resonance of the mystical Celtic and Caledonian undercurrent within the transient 21st century world. Fun.
