Jade is escaping a nightmare to restart her life as an adoptive mother to a beautiful baby boy called Gus
Jade had landed and been met by an Invicta Warrior that had been caring for her adoptive son since he had emerged from his pod and now would spend the next twenty years ensuring that he was kept safe along with his new mother Jade.
As soon as Rafe meets Jade, he feels a n instant recognition and knows that she is his Mate and that he and his dragon recognises that there is something very special about this young woman, but they are about to embark on the journey to their new homestead and their livestock farm and the lichen that will help to feed them.
On the train journey there is a murder and the couple are implicated in the murder and set about proving their innocence and finding the person that had killed the judge on the train. As they go about the town, they meet the stepson on the Judge who is also trying to find the murderer of the only person that had ever shown him and his mother any kindness, marrying her and adopting him as his son.
Tally is badly injured as they are out looking for the suspect and Jade saves his life and he notices her tattoo and she suddenly understands the prejudices the woman had suffered and how bravely she had fought to keep Tally safe, it also confirmed that the Judge had been a very noble man.
As the story suddenly shows who the actual culprit is they have to ensure that the case is dealt with properly and also realise that they have a new member in their family and Tally seems only too pleased about this.
Rafe in now knowing the true story behind Jade and realises that she has been to hell and back and she has become stronger because of this life and yet as his Mate he has to make her realise that that she is the other half of him and without her his dragon and himself will simply fade away.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Wild West Moon with Rafe, Jade & baby Gus 🌙
Having read excerpts from the book before its release, I knew this one was going to be more challenging due to Jades' traumatic past. What I didn't realize was that there would be murder, mystery, intrigue, sabotage & lots of suspense while on a train & in a wild west moon setting. This book kept me on my toes the whole time. I feel like I didn't take a real breath until the end of the book. Ms. Black truly outdid herself with this one.
It was beautiful watching Jade find her way past her extreme trauma to work toward building a beautiful life with baby Gus. Rafe had a lot to work out, all while patiently waiting for Jade to heal & embrace the mate bond.
The trigger warnings are clear with this book. Please take them seriously as Jades' past & what was done to her, against her will, on the pleasure ships is horrific. Thank God for the good Samaritan who took Jade in after she was dumped & left to die. She saved Jades life & gave her the opportunity to choose to live.
This book is tragic & beautiful & perfectly imperfect. It's real & let's face it, real life is not perfect.
There are so many wonderful characters in this book & the setting is truly amazing. I loved watching everything unfold & even being surprised ;)

She was done with the dreadful life she'd been forced into. Not that she had much experience with babies but who could resist the adorable little baby boy the huge guard handed her? The male did frighten her. She had too many experiences from other males to easily accept his presence. Thinking he would only be with them temporarily made it easy but she was to learn temporarily was not the plan.
Rafe learned their connection was much more than he had known. What would he do? Go back to his military duties or stay with the baby and the woman?
Before they could make decisions there was a murder. Would they be suspected?
Now instead of being a farmer and parents, they were investigators. Will they find the guilty party? Will he be able to convince Jade he isn't like what she experienced in her past?
Intrigue, steam, some humor, and possibly a dream-filled future.

Jade Gatlin has a horrible past, she was trick into service on pleasure ship and she has the menu tattoos to prove it. Now that she is free all she wants is a new life of quiet solitude and hard work to keep her busy. The opportunity to adopt a baby and live on a frontier moon presents itself and Jade is all in. When she meets her son Gus she also meets his guardian an Invicta dragon warrior, Rafe. Rafe just touching her makes her body respond but she has sworn off men, they would never want her once they find out where she's been. Will Rafe be able to convince her she is his fated mate and he doesn't care about her past? This book has everything you could want, a murder, a lost boy, two ex nannies, a deer breeder and a nanny bot that made me laugh. I loved it, the characters are amazing and the story is original, this is a must read.

Tasha Black has done it again and written another out of this world story that had me hooked from start to finish! The characters that she creates are outstanding. Jade was such a strong, brave and courageous woman. She got away from a terrible situation and turned her life around determined to start over in a new world. When she meets Rafe she is instantly drawn to him, which scares her. She has sworn off all men and any type of physical connection and doesn't intend to change her mind. As their trip to her new home becomes dangerous, her connection to Rafe only intensifies. The two end up trying to solve a few mysteries all while Jade struggles to keep a secret of her own. Get ready to be taken on a ride with this must read book. I promise, you will not be disappointed!- By Alisa

Each book in Tasha Black’s Alien Adoption series is entertaining with Terran women becoming Mom’s in remote new locations and finding out their Iberian baby comes with a sexy and super protective Invicta dragon warrior for a guard.
Jade’s past was tragic but she’s a survivor, with a positive and determined outlook who is considerate of the various bots they encounter. Rafe knows she’s his mate shortly after meeting and is intrigued by her steel-spine and tender hearted personality.
Miscommunication and false assumptions delay their romantic relationship, but they get along and navigate investigating a crime Rafe is accused of committing on the train to their frontier home.
An enjoyable read.

Rafe is the Invicta warrior whose current job is to protect baby Gus. Jade had served on a pleasure ship not of her own free will and has a marking because of that. After she was away from the pleasure ship, Jade was accepted into a special program for adopting Imberian babies. Then she sees the hot Invicta warrior with baby Gus. Her initial instinct is to stay away from Rafe. Rafe knew immediately that Jade was his fated mate but he must convince her even after her initial refusal of the mate bond. Before they start their new life on the frontier moon, there was a murder that they need to solve. Will they be able to solve the murder and also be able to overcome the complications that are keeping them apart? This story has mystery, steamy romance and adventure.

Quick, enjoyable read!!
This was an easy read, with an amazing story. I loved Tally and the nanny bot. Of course, I loved Rafe, Jade, and baby Gus as well, but sometimes those side characters steal the show a little bit. This was a who dunnit story, and it keeps you guessing until the end. Rafe and Jade had things to overcome. A lot could be fixed with communication, but sometimes certain subjects are hard to talk about, it was well done in this story. Overall a great read and I'll be waiting for the next in this series or Tasha Black's others!!

I am so infatuated with this series, it is quite unique. Jade was tricked into servitude aboard a pleasure ship, and she now has her freedom, or does she? She was marked permanently, and now she keeps those marks hidden. Her escape was to become an adopted mother to an alien baby. Waiting for her on this new planet with her new baby was a Rafe. A strong, handsome dragon shifter given the job to protect the baby until adulthood. What Ralph hadn’t planned on was finding his mate. This book follows them on their journey to their new home, it’s not a safe journey and secrets come out to the open and love blossoms between two strangers. And between them a little alien baby.

Another brilliant book by Tasha Black! I find it hard to resist her books. This one has the usual fantastic world building, with romance, adventure and a mystery the MCs must solve. Rafe is a hot, protective Invicta warrior. He falls for Jade, who is a caring woman with a terrible secret. The only thing is, I feel like she hands over her baby Gus a little too quickly to strangers. Other than that, an excellent story!

Rafe and Jade were awesome. I absolutely LOVED the way that they took their time bonding and getting to know each other. I fell in love with Rafe when he showed his soft side to Jade so early in their acquaintance. Tally was an exceptional addition to this company. I'm never disappointed with this authors work. She goes above and beyond in her story telling and descriptions of the people and the scenery.

Jade rebuilt her life from the ground up. A poor daughter, who signed up for domestic work off planet, was sold to the pleasure ships. Once drug addicted, with help, she regained herself. Signing up adopt a child, dhe could rebuild her life. She hadn't counted on Rafe. Invicta guard, dragon, hotter than.....kudos Tasha Black! A kick butt heroine and a swoon worthy warrior/mate. Simply scrumptious!

I didn’t like that they got down to claiming and mating business before resolving the Deer fraud situation with Tag!
I skipped right past the smexy stuff! Because I needed answers! I don’t think they should have . Done the deed until all anxieties and problems were resolved. Then it would have been more satisfying. And I would not have been forced to skip the claiming smexy stuff.

I can’t believe we are already on the 14th book of the series. This author keeps it new and refreshing with each couple. Jade is is escaping the nightmare her life had become by adopting a beautiful, baby named Gus. His overprotective guardian is a package deal with Gus. Rafe knew the moment he met Jade she was his mate. On the journey to the homestead, there was a murder and Jade and Rafe are both suspects. Will they clear their names in time? Wonderful!
Jade is adopting a baby, and Rafe is his guard until he is 20 years old. On their way to their new homestead, a man was killed, and they are the main suspects, so they decide to do their own investigation. It was a great story with a bit of romance and a bit of mystery. Loved it!

This addition to the series upped the angst and intensity with the addition of a cozy murder mystery. Rafe is intense and very protective and Jade is compassionate and precious, both warriors in their own right. Their trek to new life is immediately gripping, very rugged frontier, fast paced, steamy, entertaining and emotional. I received a free copy and voluntarily chose to leave this review.

Jade had quite the traumatic past and it’s preventing her from getting what she wants most. Rafe, despite being honourable and not loosing control easily, is having a hard time denying his mate, especially with his dragon trying to force the issue. But they both have more troubling issues to resolve when they become the most likely murder suspects.

I enjoyed this story of love and forgiveness and new beginnings. As always this baby is adorable and the dragon is fierce. The adoptive mother is strong through all of the drama.
Rafe is stunned when he realizes the serious Terran girl with the golden hair is his fated mate. Filled with sexy scenes and adventure as we expect from Tasha Black.

Mindblown. Tasha really nailed this book. Traumatized jade escaped life being a drugged out slave on a pleasure ship and finds splice and unexpected love when she signs up with the agency. Another great story from Tasha black from this series. As always the characters are both unique and strong with pasts they are truing to get over. They come together and find the love and need they Both can have with an adorable child they Love in a new land.

I enjoy reading these books by Tasha Black, they are enjoyable, action packed books, with well written characters. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Rafe and Jade's story was amazing. I loved the intense emotions and raw feels that flowed like silk throughout this book. The smartly crafted blend of heart, drama, heat, action and mystery pulls you in and has you powerfully invested.

A new frontier moon means new Imberian babies, new Invicta warriors, new adoptive mothers, and new problems for the new families to navigate. The 2nd book in the 5th mini-trilogy of the Alien Adoption Agency series (#14 in the overall series), Rafe introduces Jade, who has no interest in another relationship besides the one with her new son and Rafe, who has no interest in serving out his duty as a guard to one of the Imberian babies. A resolve that takes a hit when Rafe realizes that Jade is his mate, and when Jade realizes her impossibly powerful attraction to Rafe. But more than their resolve has to be set aside when there’s a murder on their train home, leaving them not only the most likely suspects, but also the only ones local law enforcement has interest in investigating. Leaving the investigation to Jade and Rafe, if they want to clear their names and keep little Gus from losing both his parents to prison. Aside from the fact that there are no other likely suspects, the pair face the obstacle of the mate-bond, as well as a surprise tag-along, predators and other wildlife, and even sabotage where they’d least expect it.
As I always do with Tasha’s alien romances—though I’m especially partial to this and the Alien Surrogate Agency series’—I found that I could NOT put Rafe down anymore than I could bring myself to wait to start after reading Jhon and meeting the new trios of adoptive Mothers, Invicta, and adorable Imberian babies upon their arrivals on Sigg-3. This series is not to be missed for fans of alien romance, especially others by Tasha, and readers who are already fans of the Alien Adoption Agency series won’t want to skip this new mini-trilogy set on Sigg-3!

More than likely I’ll be going back to re-read both Rafe and Jhon before Kian releases mid-October, and I’m already hopeful of seeing a future series featuring the fully-grown Imberian babies and both their families and their own love stories! This series is not to be missed for fans of alien romance, especially others by Tasha, and readers who are already fans of the Alien Adoption Agency series won’t want to skip this new mini-trilogy set on Sigg-3!

Great characters, good storylines that kept your interest, well written and edited. It was just a short enjoyable romance with a mystery and of course a hunky dragon guard !

Loved it!
I enjoyed this story of love and forgiveness and new beginnings. The baby is adorable and the dragon is fierce. The mother is strong through all of the drama.
Can't wait for the next one.

As usual MS Black has written another great book and has kept the characters and story as interesting as the ones before. This series is almost at an end and I will miss it. These books have been a joy to read.
