Final part of the trilogy.

Past relationships hang over Lizzie and John’s future hopes to marry...plots and plans continue almost to the end.
I’m glad everything turned out as did.
Loved the erotic play sessions.

The age difference at their age is negligible...but future disparity is considered as should be.

I doubt his Lordship would be using the term, love, as pet name. Maybe, my Love, but love is very northern working class and not inkeeping with his social upbringing or class.

I disliked his ex, Clara, and there are Clara’s in all social classes...they are pariahs that ruin other people’s relationships for their own selfish ends, rarely for their love of the one they trying to separate from someone else’s ‘secure relationship’. Luckily, John is very aware of her and past her whiles.
Love the end, though would have liked more of the blessing and immediate parents involvement.

Overall this follows the other parts as a 4 star read for me.

I was a little disappointed with this. The little plot there was could have fitted into the second book if the repetitive sex scenes and the two half-hearted sub plots involving Lizzie's former house mates had been stripped away. I wasn't interested in Brent or Shelley at all.
Some of the dialogue struck me as out of place too. I don't know of anyone under 70 who jokingly calls someone a 'devil' or asks friends to stay for a 'natter' - yet Lizzie's supposedly only 24. Very strange.
The first book was the best for me.

The Accidental Bride is book three in the Accidental trilogy by Portia Da Costa. If you haven’t read the first two books, then I wouldn’t recommend reading this review as there will inevitably be spoilers.

Book three has loved-up couple John and Lizzie living together in the gorgeous house John purchased. They’re still having tons of fun together, and even more sex. Things are as complicated between them as ever, but they’re trying to keep it as simple as possible, otherwise.

And they’re doing a pretty good job until one of John’s old flames starts sniffing around. She was a pretty big and influential part of John’s past, and her contact with John sends him into a strange state of mind, bringing bad stuff from his past rushing back. Lizzie does her best to stand by him, not ask too many questions, and hopes that everything will resolve itself in time. In the meantime, the pair continue to have incredibly frequent and kinky sex.

Eventually, the threat from John’s ex causes him to propose to Lizzie. Part of her is delighted, but another part of her can’t help but wonder if he’s asking her to marry him for all the wrong reasons. Will the wedding go ahead, or is Lizzie kidding herself. She ended up with a millionaire quite by accident – can she manage to keep hold of him?

The Accidental Bride was a great ending to a very enjoyable trilogy. I found the secondary story lines concerning Lizzie’s friends, a pleasant aside from the tumultuous relationship between the main couple. It was another engaging, well-written, sexy and funny book from Portia Da Costa. So if you’re looking for a kinky, yet heart-warming story by an incredibly skilled author, then I’d definitely recommend checking out the Accidental trilogy.

Ronf, ronf.

Absolute Perfection!

The “Accidental” series from Portia da Costa is 100% perfection! The story is an absolute winner with all successful parts needed for a bestseller!! I loved the ups and downs of the three part series! The love story between John & Lizzie held my attention the entire time. There was also plenty of yummy, delicious sexy time! It was all perfect!

As so often the final book in a series is the weakest. Enjoyable, nicely written but just a way of sorting out the loose ends. The sex was pretty predictable by this point and the Clara theme annoying.

so in the first two books and the start of this one it was the 'run of the mill' Portia DA Costa writing style and story. I loved the Brent / tom story line I smiled when I realised that tom was johns brother :) and Shelly's story line was okay but there could of been more to it not just a chapter on their first meeting then next there months into the relationship. there was so much hype about Clara that I feel the late night confrontation did not do the story line justice, I was expecting Clara to be evil and cunning and perhaps make Lizzie's life hell and try and brake john n her up. I do love a good evil conniving bit to a story. Maybe the bit about charlie should of been strung out a bit leave the suspense instead of 'he is your son' and the next page over 'Willis has confirmed the date of birth is wrong he cant be mine' seamed to easy after all the build up!!. It was very 'lovey dovey' in places like I was reading a non erotica romance novel. The end of the story seamed rushed and disappointing. It felt like there should be another half size book at the end. The entire wedding was skipped over!! I was looking forward to who was invited the hype about her dress and all that jazz. Instead I was left feeling like a kid who's candy had just been stolen because part of the story was missing. Over all, I loved the three books, and apart from the end off the third book where I kept getting bored and putting it down, I will probably read them again, at some point!! As I have several friends queuing up to borrow them and I've already lent the first two books out. Defiantly worth a read. I've still got the post end of book blues I always get after a good read.

This was a great finish to this series, it was so good and it was packed full of love, hot sex, drama, and wonderful happy endings all around. I enjoyed reading about them in France, all the sexy things they did while there and all of the things we learned about John's past explained so much about his issues and even his personality. I was so happy that Lizzie moved in with John and that things were finally working out for her with her love of sewing. I liked reading about their first time entertaining friends in their new home, her meeting Caroline for the first time, John meeting her parents, and then finally Lizzie meeting his family. I was not thrilled with why a certain decision was made or how it was even done even though I knew the reason behind it, but I really didn't see how this stopped Clara from trying to do horrible things to their relationship. I could not believe she just showed up at his parent's home and the cruel thing she tried to do to John, Lizzie, and even Charlie. I loved how John handled this situation and was so happy for Lizzie. I was so glad that we didn't have to wait long to figure out the truth and then they could move forward. I thought the ending was perfect, how they reenacted the first time they met was great, how passionate it was, loving, just beautiful, and to read about what happened earlier in the day was great, all of the festivities, the people that were present, and how Lizzie looked on this day, I loved it all.

5+ Stars!

I totally loved this third book. It was perfect!!! The perfect combination of hotness and plot!! Lizzie and John entered in my favorite couples books list!!

Lizzie showed so much strength and maturity in the whole series, I totally enjoyed it. She's one of the smartest heroine I have read, she is a no-nonsense heroine. John is lovely but he has too much baggage and not every women would have dealt with all that with the strength and maturity that Lizzie did. She was amazing!

I wished there was a 4th book, because the story now was becoming even more amazing and interesting and they grew so much as a couple. Maybe book 2 should have had more plot development, some of those in book 3, and so would have given space to book 3 for even more Lizzie&John engagement or married couple parts.

Lizzie and John were truly the perfect match!! I will miss them, and I enjoyed also Brent and Shellys parts.
I totally recommend this series!!

In the end, I found this book very lovely and enjoyable... more than I expected. Even for the fact that they were like rabbit but anyway I found all the characters very charming.
Lizzie : young but I could easily understand her and found her perfect without being one. I can see how John was so full in love with her. They matched pretty well.
John : old man? It bugged me a bit but 22 years apart yeah that quite a thing and she even mentioned you didn't even know I exist by that time, wasn't even born. As for his personality, he was forgiving, caring, generous ( overdo and not overdo but taking charge). Somehow well described as charming.
And the others, just awesome. This last book gave us a bit of everyone.
But also gave us the whole story.

Dissapointed having just finished the very good 'Accidental Mistress' the plot itself was obviously going to be quite thin but it wasnt even very interesting in the end, I could have done without the introduction of the housemates stories as well simply because it didnt really have any connection to what was going on with John and Lizzie - would have been better placed with a spin off.

The thing that bothered me the most was the way they talked to each other, it started to be more tiresome then amusing, what grown man refers to himself as a nervous nelly?! and what 24 year old calls someone a clod? ridiculous IMO

Received three stars because the series as a whole is worth picking up.

Just like the previous two books in this series, this is an erotic , emotional and moving story. This third book is the conclusion but I still want to read some more about these characters.

There is no accident to Lizzie's love for John. He has courted her and has worn her heart over by his kindness, gentle heart, and erotic moves. All that is left to be resolved is his ongoing feud with his father and resolution to his love affair with Clara. She is still the b**ch from hell lurking in dark corners trying to destroy their relationship.

I loved this trilogy. Absolutely recommend it to everyone over 18 year old.

Finally finished this book i couldn't wait for it to end but i have a rule to finish books and not leave midway especially when a lot of the reviews are 5*.

I feel the story was very boring and repetative and the only good part was squeezed into the last 2 or 3 chapters! I also hated the way the characters spoke and was cringing through most of it i thought Lizzie was supposed to be in her early twenties but pictures her a lot older.

Such a shame to have to give this book 2 stars as the previous 2 books were good.

Just when I get excited about the happenings between John and Lizzie the book comes to an end. I like their story and the level of maturity that Lizzie has with John is refreshing. Most wouldn't react the way she did with all of John's issues but the love you have for another gives you the ability to look past their mistakes and to the person you ultimately want to be with. Thank goodness for John though. He is a force to be reckoned with and his passion for Lizzie is true. The ending was great as well.

Mon avis : http://les-lectures-de-titou.over-blo...

Awesome trilogy

The Accidental Bride is a fabulous conclusion to the series. The story is fun, sexy, yet suspenseful. The author continues the tale of Lizzie & John's escapades while giving the reader a look into their private lives; which aren't always peaches and cream. 2 Thumbs Up and this reader is looking forward to reading more of Ms. Da Costa's works.

A cute little read, though kind of similar to 50 Shades in a way. Not that a billionaire who falls in love with a girl isn't the plot of many a romance novel, but having 50 Shades recently on the brain, that's what this book felt like.

The characters are more likable than Ana and Christian though and the ending was sweet.

3.5 stelline.

Think the author put in a lot of repetive scenes to fill the book. It is a shame as I have previously really enjoyed this authors work.

A nice ending to the series, albeit it felt a bit drawn out. A lot of repetition of "I can't believe s/he loves me!” and sex, sex, sex. I didn’t know that I could get tired of sex scenes.
