Our journey into the magic of Huna began in 1986 and has continued throughout our lives. We studied meditation, dream recall and analysis, alternate healing techniques, finding parking spaces, altering weather, and many other interesting practices. This book documents some of our experiences, and includes four trance sessions by three different mediums. Three sessions deal with the Kahunas and how they performed their ‘magic’. The other session teaches us how to recall and interpret our dreams, whereby we can obtain guidance in our lives.
I have been writing for about twenty-five years, while working firstly as a Registered Nurse and later as a Farm Insurance Underwriter. My first four novels were mainly for learning purposes and have long since been discarded – something I now regret. One of them was accepted for publication as an audio book, but the company went out of business before it could be processed. That gave me the encouragement I needed to keep on writing. I have since completed three romance novellas, a non-fiction book, and my parents’ autobiography. I look forward to writing additional books and creating their covers. Since retiring, or rather – re-wiring, I have taken up amateur photography and am combining it with writing limericks, to produce children’s photo album books about care for the environment, and respect for all life-forms. I live in the beautiful Lanark Highlands of Eastern Ontario with my husband Don, and a very independent cat named Little Bud.
