This one does not cover every common edible wild mushroom but does give out some really good storing and cooking advice like how to pickle mushrooms or how to refrigerate your fresh pickings for preservation (No! Simply putting them in the freezer isn't going to cut it).
The only foolproof method this guide advices for poisonous mushroom identification besides visual recognition would be to avoid any mushroom with a Volva down it's stem. (Volva is the remains of the egg-shaped bag that some mushrooms mature from.)
