Rate this book
Violent deaths are occurring in a remote corner of the highlands of Scotland. Strange, animal-like people are killing anyone they find, and no one seems able to defend themselves against their attacks.

But a local woman, who lives as a naturist in her remote highland home, may be the only person who can understand what they are and stop their attacks. First though, she must confront a terrible secret from her past...

If you'd love to read a book about Naturalist/Nudists and Zombies, then this is the book for you!

This book is one I read on a dare exchange with a friend. What starts out as a friendly get together, turns into a Zombie Horror film in short order. There are so many moments when Heather, the nudist heroine is just Too Stupid To Live. If you're surrounded by flesh eating Zombies, stay with the group. Though in her defense, she's probably never seen a horror movie. She lives wild and free and naked.

There was love in this book. In the beginning, Heather meets John who is brought up to her wilderness paradise where she practices naturalism by some friends of hers. Slowly, she brings him out of his Banana Republic-clothed shell. There are inexplicit sexy times. (Explicit would have bumped it a star). But even when she's caked in blood from having to kill Zombies, she's the most beautiful woman John's ever seen. That's love. My husband of 20 years doesn't shower for a day and I want to move to the house next door with my 90 year old Pearl Harbor veteran neighbor. Which is also saying something. What that something is, is that I'd rather have to watch beta tapes of old NOVA specials and eat toaster hashbrowns and "two good eggs" than live with an unshowered man.

At first I wasn't sure if this was a persuasive essay on Naturalism or a Zombie Book. I quickly learned that it was both. And that also, if you're ever very hot from hiking, soak yourself in a peat bog. Cool ya right down. Handy knowledge. Don't ever say I didn't teach you anything.

It wasn't poorly written, just not my cuppa and some of the moments were just ridiculous. But if you like campy, nudist, zombie books, this one is only $1.50.

A very well constructed story. It is essentially a tale of Naturist v Zombies but none the worse for that. The setting in the Scottish Highlands is beautiful and well described. The central characters are well drawn an I liked them both.
Good story, nice setting, good characters, so why 4*
The lead female character is too well balanced at the end of the tale considering the trauma in her life and there is an unnecessary sentimental ending to one of the storylines

A naturist horror story

A radically different genre of naturist literature. If the first chapter throws you off, you need not worry.. It all comes together. The book has its gory scenes, but love abounds. I almost stopped reading the book. I am glad I didn't.
