As their relationship begins, two women spend the night together. Lauren feels close to Erin, but isn’t sure how to tell Erin she really likes her. Erin is feeling the same, and asks Lauren to do something with her they haven’t done before.
Lauren, falling for Erin, trusting her, says yes.
This is way too short to ask people for money, but it’s also complete like this and I don’t want to add anything. So here you go, free. And as always, thank you so much for the support. Everyone here is very kind and generous.
So first, thank you to everyone for being interested enough to read this. And the stories. Really, just thank you all heaps for reading what I've written until now, and wanting to read other things, and just for everything, really. I'm really, really grateful to everyone who's interested.
And thank you also to whoever is putting books up here. That's cool, and I really appreciate it!
So what’s going on with my books is a bit weird and kind of confusing, and I just wanted to explain properly so it’s clear.
Basically, everything I write is free to read on my website, or on Wattpad, and usually on Smashwords too, including all the stories in the anthology collection books that are for sale some places.
What happens is I mostly write short stories, and as I write them I put them up those places. Then, after a while, the anthologies collect the existing stories, and bundle them into tidier ebooks and print books.
So the stories in the anthologies are the same ones as are in the individual, single ebooks, and the ebooks can be read free, all over the place, if you’d rather to that.
So this is just to say all that, so no-one doesn’t realize and feels cheated or something. And also, I hope I used enough bold!
The anthologies at the moment are...
Getting Into a Girl's Shorts: Short Sometimes-Erotic Fiction about Women With Women
It Doesn't Always Rain: A Collection of Literary Erotica
Squishy Group Hugs: Collected Smut
...and the book pages at Amazon or wherever say which stories are in where.
So basically, there's no need to pay for anything unless you want to, and there’s nothing unique in the paid books, so don’t go thinking otherwise.
Which all sounds a bit weird right? Everything's free except it isn't?
Basically, while it would be nice to sell billions of books one day, I really also just want people to read what I write, and I also don't want anyone to feel pressured to hand over money, and this is how it ended up. So all a bit Wattpad, and that way of doing things, rather than the more normal print-book kind of model. And also yes, it is basically a devious plan to, um, I don't know, win you over, I guess, and guilt you into one day eventually buying things. But really, really mild guilt, I completely promise. So don't worry if you never end up buying anything. Read all the same!
So anyway. We're all clear on how this works now? Yay!
Um, what else. So just to say this too, really clearly, so I don't accidentally offend someone or something, I WRITE EROTICA so anything near me is potentially rude. Please don't get offended and then upset and then angry. Anger is bad for you and whatnot.
Um, yeah. Sorry to shout.
And I'm not here especially often either, so just to say that in case I haven't found the inbox or something! I'll work it out.
So that's all.
Except, just, thank you for reading what I’ve written until now. It makes a big difference that people are, and I’m starting to get the hang of all this, I think! So thank you.
So, this is not a story I would have picked out for me, based on the shopping-list. It's about a lesbian couple, which is fine, though not my thing, and it centers around the kink of anal sex. Which... Well, I've written about it, and it's something intriguing, sure, but it's not my kink of choice. (Don't know what that is, exactly, but you know what I mean.)
The thing, is, I love Tess Mackenzie's stories. They're erotic, sure, but they're about the people, and that's why I read "Erin" (and its sequels), and that's why I loved it. The two main characters, Erin and Lauren... Well, yeah. They're both women. (Actually, Lauren is bisexual, not that it matters in this story so much.) And Erin has a thing for anal sex -- particularly analingus. And the story flows out from there.... but honestly? It's about their insecurities, and their love for each other, and the push-me-pull-you that those two things — combined with their desires — put them through.
Is it sexy? Hell yeah.
But mostly, I found myself falling in love a bit with these two slightly neurotic, sweet creatures, and enjoyed the hell out of the short trip they took me on (and the subsequent trips as well).
Not a lesbian, and not into rimming -- but I loved this story. Why? Well, the characters, really. The sex is great -- and even though rimming and anal really aren't turn-ons for me, I found it really hot -- but what's wonderful is the way that it explores the characters. Erin and Lauren's relationship is really surprisingly moving, and the sex is how we learn about it.
I love all of this woman's stories that I've read -- and I'm looking forward to more!
Love is a very strange thing. It is the strongest emotion known to man (or woman) and has neither rhyme nor reason; like a mountain on the distant horizon, it’s just there. Love has no rules, conditions or limits it encompasses all and is eternal. Erin and Lauren are in love, of this there can be no doubt. Luckily in this age of tolerance, their love doesn’t have to be hidden away or denied but threads of guilt still clung to the love of two women for each other. As a constant assurance to themselves and to their powerfully unique feelings, both women constantly declared their love and longed to hear it verbally reciprocated. As an added bonus the author chooses the perineum region as her primary mark. When Tess Mackenzie writes a love scene she writes a symphony. A keen ear can hear the various instruments blending together as a whole yet retaining their own unique character. The act takes on form, Allegro vivace is followed by Adagio which flows into Intermezzo, develops into Scherzo and climatically ending in Presto. The movements are all there and the orchestra of words has laid it out beautifully. The act of love is both selfish and all giving; a true oxymoron of emotions and Tess translates it beautifully. This book may not directly appeal to everyone; but it should.
I have written a fair amount of erotica myself. In fact I would rather write it than read it. This is because most erotica has lots of explicit sex, but lacks character development, interesting plot, snappy and realistic dialogue, and inner thought. In short, it's boring.
Tess Mackenzie just proved me wrong. She has finally convinced me that there is actually good, literary erotica out there: hers. Erin and Lauren are regular neurotic humans who tease each other and get hurt, are sad and loving, and are unsure of themselves all along the way. Maybe it's the fact that there are no massive hard male love muscles to be found in the Erin stories. I don't really know, but in just a short space of a few thousand words, I fell in love with both Erin and Lauren.
I plan to read a whole lot of Mackenzie. She's got a vivid erotic imagination, and better than that, she can write.
Content warnings: - explicit sexual content - consent is not clear at all
I didn't like this short story at all due to the lack of consent between the characters. There is no actual consent given at any point and the whole scenario seems to me as a pretty unhealthy way to approach acting out a kink with a new partner. Overall made me feel super uncomfortable while reading and though the MC thought she kind of liked what was happening a few times, it just read ... very, very r*pe-y to me. Also, the MC has some thoughts about former partners and experiences throughout the story that also read like that, without being criticized in any way.
The writing was fine. There main character was alright, although I couldn't develop much sympathy for her, her love interest or their relationship due to my issues with this story.
Um. Darling author, you need a beta. Badly. This was a very robotic coupling though Lauren's nerves were cute. I think the length contributed to my lack of a connection with Erin, as did the description of her licking skills as cold-blooded. How does one lick in a cold-blooded manner anyways? *perplexed*
There's just not enough going on here. And there has to be more of a connection for F/F smut to float my boat. Sad to say I'm still waiting in the dock. But it was short and free.
And that filthy thing Lauren promises at the end, I didn't get it. Sorry.
I have to say, this is not in a format I'd usually be okay reading(normally comes across reaaally awkward or just doesn't flow right), but it was rather well done.
