The Ghost Hunters Club #2

The Ghost Hunters Return

Rate this book
Last time, the Ghost Hunters Club spent a summer hunting for spooks and spirits but couldn't find a ghost, or a decent date, for love nor money. Now it’s two months later and there’s too many!

Linda’s at her new school, Karen’s got her new man and Anna’s got her new money – what more do the women want?

But not everything is going to plan. Anna’s got some unwelcome visitors, Karen’s dream of relationship bliss is as smooth as a hedgehog’s bottom and Linda’s off men, for good, and this time she means it!

So when the chips are down, there’s only one thing to do. Gather the troops, the mighty torch and a hip flask and go on the hunt for ghosts and ghouls. And beware, Linda’s got a new ghost hunting gadget and she means to use it.

They've had a break from ghost hunting but now they’re ready to pick up where they left off. There are more ghosts, more personal disasters and a lot more adventures but one thing is for sure, they’ll be having lots of fun on the way.

From the author of The Ghost Hunters’ Club comes The Ghost Hunters Return – and at 94,000 words, there’s even more ghost hunting fun in this spooktastic sequel.

I first started writing fiction during the summer holidays in 2009 whilst working in education. During the evening I am a martial artist where I am currently a 2nd Dan black belt in taekwondo. Prior to 2009 I spent several years writing for martial arts websites and magazines interviewing some of the country's most prominent martial artists but made the switch over to fiction after several hundred articles and having several ideas for fiction I wanted to explore.

I love a classic ghost story as you will read in 'The Listening Post' but I like to keep my tongue in my cheek as well in 'Two Penny Blue'.

New novel just out, 'The Policeman Who Was Afraid of the Dark'

Also, a full length novel where three women hunt for spooks, men and a few other spirits besides in 'The Ghost Hunters Club'.

Linda, Karen and Anna's stories pick up roughly where they left off in the previous book. Now there's even more drama with the addition of the humorously named Nik-Nak, the boyfriend-turned-jerk Chris and Scot hottie David. There are even more ghost hunting adventures AND a poltergeist. But the best part is the happy ever after at the end!

There were a few errors throughout but it didn't detract from the story.

Absolutely loved this! The first book -The Ghost Hunters' Club- was a witty mix of bad dates, good wine and naughty adventures, and the sequel maintains the standard- and then some! The girls were as fab as ever, and I chortled my little socks off (in between the scary bits). I wish they were my real friends... 'sigh' Lots of fun!

I loved this book. I

This. Book is easily as good as the first, and leaves me wanting more. I love the cleverness and cheekiness of the author, it makes for a fun read.

Still has quite a bit of spelling and grammar issues in the kindle version

This is a cute book, full of history, mystery and great friends. This author brought the characters to life, spicy and fun. The ghost hunts were interesting and offered a bit of history. As always, the Ghost Hunters came out on top!

Linda, Karen & Anna are back for more adventures in ghost hunting and love. And things don't always go to plan. We love the ghost hunts - having been on quite a few, it makes us laugh how realistic they are. We've actually been to a few of the places in the book, so it was nice to be able to imagine them as we followed the characters around.

The three characters are well portrayed and three dimensional, each with their own quirks that make them different from each other, but those also make them work well together.

We hope there will be another book, as we can't wait to find out what happens next.

Even better than the 1st book. Strong characters. I will miss the characters and the story line. Both books are a must read.
