Rhiannon is a booksmith from the middle of nowhere, Canada. She holds a PhD in Metaphysical Science and Parapsychology, which is to say she happens to know a lot about what goes bump in the night. When she's not writing she's singing karaoke, burning dinner, and hiding her superhero identity. She'd like to own a unicorn one day, as long as it doesn't eat her. You'll find her sipping iced cappuccino despite her allergy to coffee at www.yafantasyauthor.com

*****AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW POSTING, THIS BOOK IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. I'LL REMOVE THIS ATTENTION GRABBING HEADING ONCE IT IS.*****

This review is so hard to write. For the first time that I can recall, words are failing me because this book was just so... well, WOW! This is the 6th and perhaps the last book in the Ferryman and the Flame series (though I'm still holding out hope for more!) and it was just everything all the other books were leading up to. It's just perfect.

***Warning time here. I'm going to try really hard not to have spoilers in this review but if you have not read the previous books, I would strongly recommend you stop here and read the first five (and the novellas are incredible as well so you might want to read those as well) so that I don't ruin anything at all for you. I'd feel really bad if I ruined this series for you so please, please, please stop reading unless you've read the first five just incase!!! ***

In the beginning there was a frail girl on the meek side, learning about herbs (or attempting to), who frolicked around with her feorn friend Pux and a strange boy who just didn't quite feel like he fit in all living in the land of Avristar. Flash forward to nearly ten thousand years in the future and a heck of a lot has happened but these three are still intertwined. In the last two books, everything really began leading up to this one, and you won't believe what happens in it!

In Chaos, there is nowhere left to run. War is coming whether anyone wants it or not. Kaliel, Krishani, Pux, Shimma, and a whole cast of familiar characters (that I'm not mentioning because I'm not giving you those spoilers) are faced with the battle that is very likely the one that is going to end it all. Relationships are tested, loyalties are pushed to the limit, and the choice between surrender and death could be all that's left. This book is the final showdown between good and evil; the Ferryman and the Flame and the Valtanyana.

Once again, I finished this book with tears streaming down my face, and also had the same issue while reading it (at least half of it!). The author doesn't hold back when it comes to emotionally charged story lines and it's genius. She pulls you in and you become so attached to the characters or things going on that when something happens it hits you as if it's really happened!

I love this authors writing style and this series became a fast favorite after reading the first book and each book thereafter just solidified it as an all time favorite series. Although this book ended in a way that really could be the end of the story of the Ferryman and the Flame, it also left it open enough that it could continue if the author wanted it to in the future (which I'm really hoping and will be more than happy to beg for!). This series was incredible and I would recommend giving it a shot.

I love the way the series ends. It doesn't leave anything unanswered. The sacrifice Kaliel makes to save the ones she loves is amazing. The battle with in her in what is right and what must be done can be followed by anyone. Everyone decides how their future pans out. A love so deep that last thousands of years is just amazing. This is by far the best book i have read in a very long time. Absolutely loved it!
