The Table

Family functions are a time to not only reflect on the past, but also to make plans for the future. The locations and participants may vary, but the overall dynamics usually remains the same. Ethan’s personality and drive was fueled by the events he witnessed as a youth by the elders who took their seat at the table during gatherings. When his time came, he finally realized the sacrifice given in order for his turn at the table to occur.
