This anthology brings together, for the first time, a collection of both seminal historical and contemporary essays on the nature of technology and its relation to humanity.
I'm reading this book for a class for my master's degree. It offers a HUGE selection of perspectives on the subject of the philosophy of technology: everything from defining technology, the goodness/badness of technology, how we live with technology, etc. It's a great comprehensive text for anyone interested in the field. The editors wax a bit dense in the section introductions, but they did a good job grouping the essays into relevant categories.
