Marie Sexton lives in Colorado. She’s a fan of just about anything that involves muscular young men piling on top of each other. In particular, she loves the Denver Broncos and enjoys going to the games with her husband. Her imaginary friends often tag along. Marie has one daughter, two cats, and one dog, all of whom seem bent on destroying what remains of her sanity. She loves them anyway.

Started off great, I really loved The first story by Marie Sexton who is one of my favourite authors and didn't disappoint with her story but unfortunately after that it went downhill for me. The following stories where just meh. Some better than others but non of them particularly rocking my boat. Shame really.
1. Flowers For Him by Marie Sexton & Rowan Speedwell 4stars
Flowers for Him by Marie Sexton and Rowan Speedwell - 4 stars Vital To Him by SL Majors - 2 stars Fly to Him by J.P. Bowie - 3 stars Enough For Him by Em Woods - 3.5-4 stars Surrendered To Him by Sara York - 3 stars Designs For Him by Noelle Keaton - 3.5 stars
I thought this anthology started strongly, kinda dipped down in the middle for me, and ended on a good story. Nice theme, I wish there was a way to have a bit more variety in the stories.
I got this paperback free last year when i also won a copy of Between Sinners and Saints by Marie Sexton at the anniversary celebration. I was reorganizing my bookcase last month and saw this book and thought I really need to give it a chance.
I will say this, the first one by Marie Sexton and Rowan Speedwell was really good, but I found a lot of the stories to be only ok (and one that was just wtf??). While it was probably not something I would have bought, I am glad I got the chance to read Marie's and Rowan's story, and for the gift.
I see a lot of reviews lauding "Flowers for him" and it being the best book in this anthology . I think it's safe to say i thought of abandoning ship after that because i didn't even like that book. Such boatload of emotions from two people that don't even know each other. Sheesh
"Vital to him" was just something else. I did not connect with any of the characters, the bdsm aspect to it was not that great. The entire story was not believable.
One of my read-what-you-have reads, this was a pretty entertaining anthlogy, if not the best. My ratings were vareid, so I'm simply going to review each story individually.
Vita to Him
2.5 stars. Actually read this one a while back and skipped it now, so my memory's somewhat hazy, but I do remember that this one was sort of meh. Interesting set up and decent writing but didn't manage to truly grab my attention.
Enough for Him
2.5 stars. This was doomed from the get go, as it entailed a decade worth of pining and to me, the reason behind it as well as the reason for the MCs suddenly getting together when they did made little sense. But, the writing was solid.
Surrender to Him
3 stars. Somewhat abrupt in it's twists as well as in the character deveolepement, but still nice. Keoni was the main reason for the three stars.
Fly to Him
3 stars. Another very quick story, that was building to be larger than it was, but the MCs and the romance were compelling and I liked it.
Designs for Him
3.5 stars. This story had an interesting bacround and story and that is why I was more invested in the romance. However, I would have liked to see some more groveling toward the and by one of the MCs.
Flowers for Him
4 stars. Easily the best in the anthology, this story was lovely and fresh, as the guy who ended up doing the fighting for the relationship was the stuffy, previously-in-denial business man, not the free-spirited artist. Both men were likeable and charismatic, and the writing was great.
I would recommend this anthology for those who are in search of bite-sized romances with low levels of angst.
This book consist of six short stories by various authors that tells the stories of billionaires who step outside of their boxes and surrender themselves sexually and emotionally to the men who work for them. The sex was steamy and the stories told are really very sweet. I love the idea of these beautiful, rich and powerful men who dominate the boardroom, release control and are somewhat submissive outside of it. This book is a treat; you get six fabulous stories in one book. Their characters are adorable and the story lines were enjoyable. I also liked how the stories were told from different POVs and the person whose view is being told was clearly indicated. This anthology was packed full of goodies; (Vital to Him) was my favorite story. I would definitely recommend this book.
This is an anthology chock a block full of Cinderfella stories - where a normal guy meets a billionaire and then have a fairy tale ending. Unfortunately, I only really liked the first story - Flowers for Him. It was sweet and sexy and I enjoyed every moment of it. The rest was not really to my taste, but another reader may enjoy it.
As with a lot of anthologies, some very good, some good and some a bit 'not for me'. Overall though, i did enjoy the book. If you like the Mills and Boon Desire series 'arrogant billionaire tamed by lowly love interest' trope, then you'll like this. If not, suspend reality quite a bit!
Skip this one and just read flowers for him as a stand alone. The other stories are not worth the read. I skimmed them but was unable to enjoy any of them.
